Your best review yet, by far!

Red stripe down the side, classic 😂. This is one of the few vehicles on the road that would make you smile as it passes, love it. You should be able to put down the windows in the back, not sure about that design decision. Great review as always 👍

Great looking vehicle but poor range and the price requires the prospective owner to tick the option box for smelling salts. I priced this at £68,000 here in the UK. I’m looking forward to the EV Polo at £50,000! Excellent review as always from your good self!

Mark. Fair play. Literally! A 'play thing' for those that can afford the Buzz. H'mmm? Will have a waiting list longer than itself! Struck me that my VW Up! could 'do' an Italian job in the back. [And yes the black colour option would be the one to go for. Or the commercial spec'd model.] Thanks Mark. Appreciated.

£65K for 200-mile range van and VW software. Seriously ? I really wanted to love this car but VW have managed to kill that dead with a lovely looking but poor value EV.

  •  Год назад +2

Love it. Unfortunately I don't have money for one. AWD drive is welcome for sure. Specially cause it adds more power for more towing capability. I know it's not popular option but maybe 2 gear setup on the rear motor would improve energy consumption in real world conditions

Personally I find the back seats a very unpleasant place to be. There are no door armrests, and no centre armrests, which means long journeys, something you would think this thing would excel at, would be incredibly fatiguing for those in the rear. Strange choice by VW.

I want to like electric cars, I really do, I even have a plug attached to the house from my previous phev. But I can't justify the price with the range, it's just not feasible and I think poor value for money. Especially when you can pick up a well equipped new Toyota Corolla TS for the low £30s for new at 50mpg. Great video as always Nobby.

Yeah really cool but do you really have to keep sitting in the front seat to keep the heating on...saw someone put a heavy weight in the front seat for that?
I have an id3 and the mileage even at 10 degrees at 100% was 288km on 58kw battery...not so good

Lots of people, particularly in Scandinavia, have concerns if they're at the front, with build up of snow and ice. Also, reversing out after charging isn't quite as safe.

Surprised we don't have any minivans in Ireland. Sliding doors seem the easiest way to go getting kids out of the back seats rather than opening a door and trying to not dent the car beside you hoping you have enough room. Shorter wheelbase, more upright seating so they don't have to be monstrous either. The Buzz is class, I hope we see some more of them in the future rather than crossovers.

2.2 miles per kWh. That's really quite inefficient. Equivalent of a V6 petrol? Vauxhall loaned me an Corsa E last year and when I drove it like I stole it, it still returned 2 miles per kWh and driven nornally, it returned double that, 4 and a bit miles per kWh, this was still only just about enough. Given the rediculous pricing of this vehicle, it's only fit for the foolish rich. You know who you are and so do Volkswagen.
