@Alison thank you very very much for another very very great Performance and i think you have a beautiful Hair and a nice Hairstyle on this Workout. 😀 👍 👍 💪💯👏👌🤗
Love it love it Ali, your my hero with the tuff riding that you do😄🇺🇸 my question is do you do most of your riding on your diverge, looks super cool and what tires n size n psi do you use? What nutrition do you eat while out on your bike like Cliff bars, gels, bananas? Thank you, please be safe we need you 🤩🤪🚴
a topic you could talk about:- "What you did when it went wrong?" e.g. when your frame broke, when you crashed on your own miles from home, when you ran out of spare food and energy, when you got lost, when you got sooo cold you could think let alone feel your hands, when you got flu etc
Running through the basics on fueling and hydration for novice(and advanced) riders could be a great topic! (i.e. how much to eat before a ride, how soon before/after a ride you should eat, how frequently/how much you should eat during the ride)
Must have gravel gear? Deep dive into gravel components? Differences between road and gravel racing? Strategies (any team tactics or is it individual?)
Would love to have a sort of unpacking comment of a gravel race, what was the tactics on a specific sections, reading of the race and the competitors, etc. Love the field !
Would love a breakdown of what Road wheelsets are gravel worthy, and which ones aren't, and how to tell if a wheelset can take the pounding from gravel?
been riding hed ardennes for a good few years over some hard gravel tracks just done a rear wheel re build but they did do 30,000kms and I am a fat bloke so they have taken some punishment
The green hills of home! Thanks very much, and looking forward to your next field assignment :-) Suggestion for a recurring Preem feature: rating the worst pavement in regular use -- actual asphalt or concrete and not gravel or dirt or washed out. Spring Hill Rd. outside of Petaluma comes to mind... the finest example of local road tapestry
Noticed you're on disc brakes; yea or just ok? I'm hesitant to make the move as a roadie; I fear they will fail or rub or whatever and I won't be able to fix/adjust like I can with rim brakes. Your experiences??
could I suggest some bike set ups not just different makes of bikes but tyres group sets etc etc and could you please bear in mind some of us dont want to spend the national debt of a small country to buy a bike !
I think that largest audience you will have on Preem is the non racer. How about you cover adventure that is more about the journey rather then being the fastest. Looking forward to what this channel will offer.
Gravel as a "connector" -- I don't (yet) want to ride gravel all day but being able to cope with a gravel section would increase route options. How to adapt a road bike and/or technique to cope with those situations
Gravel is so often 1x. Choosing the right chainring for a race feels really high stakes. Maybe I’m overthinking it (wouldn’t be the first time). I hate to miss out on speed since it’s very flat where I live, but I don’t want to suffer through gravel races with climbs either. How do you choose?? I feel like Gollum look for my precious One Ring. 😂
What I would like to know is: If I would like to go in your area for a week or two in a cycling trip, where should I stay to do nice rides. (Quiet paved roads) I prefer to stay at the same place and doing loops. Thank you
Question for you and all of the Preem presenters: what brand(s) of sunscreen to pro teams use on your faces? I have given up on all the usual consumer brands for face protection because as my head sweats, the sunscreen inevitably gets into my mouth. Is there any product(s) that pro riders use that do not cause this problem?
I’m fair skinned and burn easily. I use Target up and up sports spray. Rarely goes into my eyes or mouth during my ride. Spray it on and let it absorb for about 10 minutes before you start your ride. I even use it in the winter.
Day in the life of a privateer cyclist. More that coffee and riding as we see you got that down😜🤙🏽🤙🏽. How much to you structure train, how much time communicating with your sponsors, how do you manage your “brand”.....

I LOVE YOU!

That desk with the uneven legs are messing with me. I had to put a book under my laptop to even it out. 😜🤭
I need to bring back that desk for you. I found it for free outside of a one-room school house here in town. Best find ever. It will be back! :)
Looks like a routine to be envious of! Cant wait to see more of the area.
Winery tour on your local roads.
I lived in Novato for a while and I recognize a lot of those cows!
Stalling a ride by rearranging the closet: thanks for the tip, I'll use it soon. I wanted to change the air in the tires of all my cars once.
Flossing my teeth works as good procrastination too, and my dentist thanks me!
Love to see you do D2R2 this August. Great event and epic ride
I'm open to all kinds of cycling ideas. I like to see people just be themselves, leave in the mistakes and let it happen.

Great start. Never ending material out there!
Charming video. Can we see some of your favorite rides, roads, climbs, and descents from your area and from the other upcoming presenters?
I was thinking, “what’s the favorite sonoma county climb?”

On it!
Would love to hear about some of your experiences racing gravel. Also preparation, strategy and recovery.
Love it! Do you remember passing me in 2019 Gravel Worlds. I finished a couple hours behind you.
Would love to have a sort of unpacking comment of a gravel race, what was the tactics on a specific sections, reading of the race and the competitors, etc.
Love the field !
Really envy your freedom !
Saying hello to the cows, I like that! Got to start trying that here ... in India though, that would be quite a bit of helloing!
What's you favorite animal to make animal noises at while you ride by? I'm partial to honking at geese.
Hmm... I usually don't use animal noises... I call them by name... like "hey llama llama llama"...
Gravel riding for newbies?
Would love a breakdown of what Road wheelsets are gravel worthy, and which ones aren't, and how to tell if a wheelset can take the pounding from gravel?
I would really like to know what I can do to train for climbs when I don’t have hills near me?

Hi Ali...nice preemierr ...I’m curious to know how you plan a year of cycling adventures and where they lead you?

One of my routes has friendly goats along side a portion of it. i always say hi to the goats (and their donkey-guardian).
I love goats and donkeys! I have a few miniature donkeys on my ride that I climb a really steep hill just to see... Hmm... they need to make the show!
Who has better gravel? Nebraska or Kansas?
Difference between travelling with a gravel bike vs road bike!?

Would love to learn more about your nutrition habits/tips
What do you on a training ride when you are not feeling it that day? Soldier on or end early?
How do you like your Power with Mirror saddle?

crap these new videos are addictive poems
Lol... riding by cows will let you know you’re alive - especially on cold days... lol

SNACKS and TREATS! Ok, I will plan more routes for you!

I say hi to horses, so why not say hi to cows? They're just as personable.
Need pointers on proper cow tipping. Is day preferred of night time?
Don't tip over my cows!!!

Please for the love of God don't let this be another "race" channel.
Just my thoughts!
@@hendrikspark4462 I've already read too many race specific questions. Please Preem just talk about cycling on the whole.
