Never tried the pocket burrito! In my ultra running days, I used to puree cooked chicken, liver and mashed potatoes and put it in a squeeze tube... Didn't see too many others doing that one 😂

The leaders passed me with about 1 mile to go. I was doing the 100 mile and they finished 200 miles in 1 hour longer than I did 100. They passed me on Highland Hill and it was very cool hearing all the watts going through those carbon wheels.

My 16yr old brother did the frozen pocket borrito trick. You know, to meet the challenges a teenager faces on any typical day.
Another nice segment from you - the content of your segments are always interesting. I’ve got a few camera tips for you, as I can tell your relatively new to the process. Rule of Thirds - read up on that. Basically, give the talking-head some space in the direction they’re looking. If you’re using a tripod, alternate which side you stand on (and stand reasonably close to the lens) - that way you can bump the soundbites together without it looking like a “jump-cut.” The perfect backdrop for a portrait (interview) is sun BEHIND the subject, with a dark background. Ask if your subject if he/she is willing to remove their sunglasses - better connection when you can see the subject’s eyes. Consider interviewing someone in two different locations - that way you can intercut the interview and keep it moving visually. Buy a cheap, collapsible reflector and a light stand to mount it on. Lastly, when setting up an interview, start with the background first. Compose a nicely balanced shot, then place your subject into it. Keep up the good work, Ben, and see you on the road one of these days…!!

Has anyone told you that the speaking cadence and pausing you use in these videos is distracting to the listener? Just feedback from someone who really likes the content
Pausing I understand. Cadence, you mean I talk too slow?
