  • This video adds to the chorus of videos demonstrating jasmine stitch, but what I hope to bring to the table is a full explanation of how to get tight, neat central holes in your jasmine flowers, without resorting to an ultra-tiny crochet hook. Grab yarn in any fibre and any weight, and a hook around 1mm smaller than recommended for your yarn. No prior familiarity with jasmine stitch is required. I’m only 5 minutes in and I already need to comment! This is a GREAT tutorial, it clearly shows which stitch is the ‘eye’ that you need to work into and also covers the question of finishing with a slip stitch v single crochet, which no one else I’ve watched thus far has addressed. So THANK YOU, I’ll go finish the video now 😂
