Thanks for sharing an in-progress layout like this. Love seeing all of the benchwork and learning the techniques. While I love the finished layout tours, I learned a lot more from this hearing him talk about techniques.
That is going to be exquisite! That could end up rivaling some of the best layouts ever made....in that first "city" type section...were the foreground buildings HO and the background N? Looked like it to me...looked like a perspective trick. And the wall color is fabulous!
@@alpugliesetrains9753 Hi there! Thanks for getting back to me! Yes, i’m aware. I built architectural scale models for some years and i’m familiar with the cost and effort that it takes to build a scale model. I would love to know where can I find scale miniatures already built since this is one of my passions, but I do not have the time right now to build them myself.
@@JesusGonzalez-qb6vs Howard Zane and I build in HO or O scales only go to my Playlist then items for sale to see them. We build his designs but dont build buildings from photos or plans we choose to build what he designs.
The understated weathering on the buildings is perfection.
Just astounding. That city scene is beyond amazing.

this is absolutely stunning work!!! my deepest respect to the builder
this is the best detail work ive ever seen
Stunning layout!
That's some fantastic structure scratch and kit building right there.
Dave could easily design kits for manufacturers, some of the finest work out there. If that breaker was a kit, I would buy 1 for sure.
That is museum quality there. Extraordinary, thanks for sharing
That's a layout right out of my dreams. Great work Dave!
Wow, looks terrific already. Building’s are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing more
Those buildings are awesome to look at, the mine is also awesome. A master work
Beautiful work. Best color sense I've seen.
Your work has a touch of the late John Allen's work. very nice.
Looking forward to his progress. Love what he has done so far.
What a project and what a talent to construct it. Please keep updating us on the layout progress.
Amazing layout. God bless him. Can’t wait to see more.
@HartfordWhaler thank you hope to decide to subscribe. He works alone so progress will be slow but I will stay up on it

I wish I knew how to make miniatures like this. I'd love to have a little town diorama set up somewhere.
Oh wow. This is gonna be amazing. I wonder what the speed of the build will be 🤔
impressive
I would love to know the distance from the inside track to the wall. How much width is there? 12"?
Show him 'Norm's Trains' channel.
He is running a O scale 1950's Pennsylvania layout. Very detailed.
Where can I find built structures with this level of craftsmanship for sell?
@JesusGonzalez-qb6vs shows. Something professonally built to that level can easily cost more than many used cars
