How on earth do you create such incredible detailed scenery?? I love the fact that detailing a layout like this takes a lot of emphasis away from the trains and spreads it more evenly to the whole scene, trains included of course. This is a new genre of artistic expression. Move over Michael Angelo.
Excellent resource guide for tree scape authenticity. You tube also has several channels on real Douglas Fir forests to evaluate and model. I keep keep coming back to this outstanding layout for supporting my mindset of how mine will have the look. Many thanks.
Hard to believe this is a modular layout. First of all, where are all the seams? Secondly, how on earth could this entire thing be transported to a convention? The level of construction must be of museum standards to even consider moving something this fragile. Just an outstanding railroad. Perfection. Still can't believe it's moveable. It almost defies logic.
This layout is probably the most natural looking Logging layout I have ever come across.... Excellent modeling !!!!
That opening shot of the bridges interweaving and the scenery around it all.... unreal!!! such detail. amazing layout

Unbelievable detail! Locomotive shop and the sawmill are just amazing.
This was on the cover of a model railroading magazine! The very first mag that i bought and got me interested in model trains!

I agree. I takes a dedicated team that is well versed in the process of caring and handling to take on this task. Well done team. My compliments.
Well, when erecting the layout at a convention they hide all the seams with appropriate turf and gravel "glued" in place with waterglass.
Unbelievable! 🌟⭐⭐🤩🤩
On3? Looks amazing...
Yes, it is On3.
Il mio sogno ( non realizzato ) dopo avere visto nel 1953 il film Timberjack..........il mio sogno continua grazie a questi capolavori e ad You Tube

Some assembly required.
Magnificent !
0/10, trestle bridge in the beginning isn't big enough. needs to be at least triple that height. (all jokes aside this layout is a masterpiece)
