Reeling in seems to be nice and smooth. Pretty good size reel and a 26 inch retrieve rate. I wonder if the drag washers have too much or not enough drag grease on them? Nice big bluegills! I’m not sure if you priced the reel from Japan but I just received my Miravel 2000 shallow spool from Japan Lure Shop for $84.00 dollars and some change and JLS always includes a free lure when you buy a reel from them which in my case was a Megabass dark sleeper. Also I enjoyed the video and I love catching panfish.

Good review I use shimano sienna $34 dollar reel and it's smooth I imagine that one is really smooth
I love my diawa regal lt 1000
10 ball bearings smooth drag for around 60 dollars you can't beat it

Hey I use all kinds but today I used euro Tackle items, both tungsten jig head and their 1.2” grub
