Great list!
I bought the Tin Hifi T4 right when it became available in November 2019 and I'm so happy to hear that you find it awesome. I use mine only when working (currently at my desk in my office now working from home today) and I should show it more respect because it does sound great.
it's just really weird as I normally watch you for perfume content, and now I'm watching you for IEM content hahaha. Hey Timmy!
Another great content Timmy, a top 10 IEM for life, its similar to the one you did on your fragrance channel top ten niche or designer for life, so here's my top 3 choices in my IEM staple: Ikko OH10 Obsidian, Shuoer S12 and TinHiFi T4, and have a great, wonderful, blessed, positive, productive and safe week/Memorial day weekend
The Dusk was the first IEM I ever tried that immediately made me think to myself "Oh, so there IS a whole other level to all of this." It was such a clear step above anything else I had ever heard, really several steps above. Definitely one of my "grab on my way out of a house fire" IEMs but honestly with it's build it could probably survive it.
Same here. Went from Starfield to Dusk to UM MEST MKII (custom) and 64 Audio A12t. The MEST is my go to IEM. I love it! Very fun to listen to, holographic sound, lovely treble from EST drivers, and great sound bass, just the perfect balance for me. In my opinion the tuning and timber is spot on.
@@MykWazowski Agreed. MEST is fantastic.
My S12 now lives permanently in my coat pocket as my daily driver when out and about 😍
Nice One timmy ❤️❤️❤️
I managed to grab a pair of Etymotic ER3SE's for $60, and I gotta say I like them a lot more than the ER2's. I have the ER2XR as well, and it's great, but my one hangup with it is that the soundstage is too narrow for my liking. The ER3 sounds just as good in terms of tuning and detail while widening the soundstage just enough for me to not be turned off by it, so I'd recommend the 3 over the 2 if you can get it for around the same price.
i have Oxygen, Blessing 2 Dusk, T4, and i love all of it, for all rounder and daily i like Oxygen, for the smooth and detail i prever Blessing 2 Dusk, for open sound bright i like T4
personally theres not much to grab bc i started this hobby a month ago. though im super stoked about my setup so far. Oxygen, Sundara and Qudelix i can highly recommend for any newbie. i grabbed them used for 350 total. extra cables and dac/amp (specially Sundara) is necessery.
How did you get everything so cheap?
350 total?! Which seller did you get them from? I'm assuming they are preownes but that is still insane!
@@krayozmines simply ebay. 110 for oxygen excluding the offered 4.4 balanced cable. sundara for 240, hardly worn. there are B2 going for 200 which is so intruiging... but the fit. oxygen only fit bc the azla xelastic eartip. 2 balanced cables each 50 bucks, azla xelastic and the qudelix + shipping... made me spent 600 though.
@@AwsmTune what’s the oxygen ? I’ve been looking at the sunduras and qudelix 5k.
@@paulgal Tanchjim Oxygen (O2), the bigger broher of the Hanas
Er2se is a beast! I have the b2 and the erse.
Most of these picks aren't surprising, but the Tin T4 is an interesting pick because it's been largely outclassed by the likes of the Titan S.
I love the tin t4s. It is my favourite pair out of the other I got and was disappointed with; the Moondrop Aria (I guess I don't like warm and smooth and prefer open and detailed)
No it doesn't have a great fit and no, it doesn't like volume. It breaks up really easily in a loud environment so it is a great fit for listening at night with. Special even.
I used to adore the T4s but nowadays I keep going back to the T3+.
P1 Big Panda
For me : Unique Melody mest MK2, Campfire audio Ara, Dunu sa6, unique Melody 3dt (with Cayin Ru6 and senfer dt6 tips), audiosense t800, Sony xba n3ap (with whizzer easytips et100 and powerful source), mangird tea, Dunu est112
Hi Gizaudio. I don’t have small ears at all but can only wear Monarch MKII just under two hours before I can’t enjoy the music anymore from discomfort. What can I do to make them more comfortable? Will my ears just break in the point there’s no longer any pain?
How does the IE600 compare to the UM MKII. I have the UM and is usually my go IEM. I’m looking for something similar in tuning and soundstage. The UM is a U shape with a sparkly top end, from what I’ve seen online the IE600 is similar?
T4 is my fav♥️♥️♥️... Its the best from Tin.Still looking for a proper T4 upgrade without success. For me its the best under 100 period.
Any thoughts about the EJ07, Mangird xeens up, and mangird tea 2?
how is soundstage, imaging, and air of monarch mk2 vs variations?
I don't really have any high end iems, but I've been looking to get a pair, but there's so many choices at so many price points it's hard to pick one. I know some people really vouch for the Kinera Nanna 2.0, but I see it didn't make your list.
I currently own fh3 and kato. I'm not like super rich but if i had money, i wnna grab variations just cz of soundstage 😥
For me its the moondrop blessing2, shuoer S12, and Fiio FH3
Hello, can I ask which one is better, Sony IER-Z1R or Monarch Mk2? and What do you think about Moondrop S8? I havent unboxed it because should I upgrade to Sony IER-Z1R or Monarch Mk2? Thank you
Hi what can u recommend between the Tin t4 and dunu titan S.? I will use it gaming like valorant and i like listening to Kpop
Blessing 2, S12 and Starfield
Monarch MKII, Mest MKII and EJ07m for me.
Hey Giz! What IEM do you think is the best for streaming Yorushika? I personally am looking at the Kato, but are there any alternatives in thesame price bracket?
Yume Midnight is a great choice as well!
@@Gizaudio thank you very much! Ill try and understand how they differ through reviews and articles
UNIQUE MELODY - MEST MKII
?
Those are my babyzzzz 🥵🔥
Hi, I have a request, can you please recommend an iem, I've slowly lost track, too many opinions and I'm confused, if you could give me a clear answer you would really help me, as I said I'm looking for a couple of inears for no more than a hundred euros, maybe if it's really worth it, it can also be a few euros more. I like listening to many styles of music, so a good all-rounder would be great, with a tendency to bass, because I also like listening to house music, but lows, mids and highs should not be neglected, would be very grateful for a direct answer, which ones really worth it, thanks.
What do you think is the best eartips upgrade for tin t4?
if my house is burning down, I'm going for those IEMs.
ive never heard/given bad cans, so everything there worth keeping
So I take it you're perfect IEM would be a Anole vx, oracley tuned? I only have 3 IEMs OH10, ER2 SE, Aria. I got a deal on all 3. Not really sure which IEM would be my next purchase. I hear good things about the midnight, blessing 2 dusk, 7Hz timless. However now you're making me think about the oracle.
Most likely near impossible to get Anole VX clarity with Oracle tuning......but one can dream lol
obviously the most expensive 10!
Which is best for a drummer?
What ur thought on the softears RSV
For me would be
Entry - Moondrop aria
Mid range - Dunu SA6
High end - Campfire audio andromeda 2020
3 different sound profile and price point
Where do sa6 and andromeda differ?
@@Tom-ts5qd vocal presentation, soundstaging, macro details and imaging are better in andromeda but not by a huge margin. But bass response, overall smooth presentation of the sound , I’ll give it to Dunu SA6. Initially I had a blessing 2 dusk, but I find the SA6 being a step up.
@@nurmbms90 i'm really treble shy, the andromeda 2020 was already too harsh for my ears. I still love thr engaging and evocative sound from andromeda, do you think the dunus would suit me then? What about oracle or variations?
@@Tom-ts5qd I suggest to try in the store as I’m not treble shy 👍🏽
Just got my Qdc Anole VX.. yes you're right bro! Usually you listen to 1080 resolution and then you listen to VX, its suddenly become 4k .. oh Sh*t this VX really ruined my ear. The things that i dont like from VX, is only the cable
Thieaudio Monarch MK II for sure. However, my daily driver is the Unique Melody Mest Mkii, simply because it is smaller & can last longer in my ears! The Monarch MK II, i reserve for late night dedicated listening sessions, when i have the time to do so.
Man, how would you compare Monarch MKII vs MEST MKII about clarity and crispiness/airy upper midrange and treble?
I would say both are clear & crisp/airy. The bigger difference would be the tuning: TA Monarch Mark II being very well balanced, especially the mid-range, with some (not bass-head level) elevated lower bass & upper frequencies probably a little more airy. It's very good for vocals like K-pop, especially female vocals.
The UM Mest is a bit V-shaped, with the lower bass quite a lot more in quantity & treble more prominent: good for old school rock, for example.
Both top-tier, imo, just depends on your tuning preference.
@@httcore Thanks a lot, mate!!!
@@httcore I have been using IEMs that don't touch any part of your ear except your ear canal, like Final Audio E4000 and Tanchjim Darling (Etymotic is prolly the same but didn't try one). When I boight B2 Dusk, I quicly decided to resell it because after 15 minutes of wearing it my ears would start to hurt (the concha part I think). They were uncomfortable.
And you're telling me you're fine with high-end IEMs that you can't wear for all day long without any discomfort?! Is this normal with all these bulky boys?
For sizing reference: Tin Hifi T3 Plus with SpinFit CP360 size M fits my ears perfectly.
so for bass,
ier z1r > mon mk2 > u12t?
you should try the mest indigo
Keep your best IEMs in a suitcase you can grab on your way out the door.
Ok... Sennheiser ie300, Timeless, Hook-x. Most expensive iems were Variations. Want to try Z1R but its impossible... Very very very expensive....
Can you recommend headphones for a male singer under 200-300$? Kato / Idun-Freya / Adonis / oh10 / Yume / fiio fh3-fd3 ?

I have the Blessing 2 dusk and I love them but the left earpiece is buzzing now after 5 months owning it. my bother has the aria(him and I love it as well) but 3 months of using the left ear piece had sound imbalance. I really want to bring myself to love moondrop but their products breaking on us twice is a huge turnoff of the name moodrop for us. Now I have a huge scar that moondrop left that makes me not want to buy from them ever again.
my 1st Moondrop was SSR.. received without pouch and eartips...after that am scared to buy moondrop ..also read lot of negative reviews about it's defects in long run...after lot of thought process made up my mind and bought Kato 3 months back (oxygen is my preference, but it's not available in my place:(
now oxygen is available..I feel like I would sell my Kato and buy OXYGEN
Happened with the only moondrops I own as well. Kind of put off by it and was hoping it wasn’t a problem with higher tier like the dusk
Try Sennheiser IE 100 Pro, they sound better then Moondrop Aria.👍👍👍
I really want b2d but its not available in my country unfortunately
What about the SA6? You were gushing about that one in the review
Still love it, but as this list I can only keep 10, many were left out.
What about timeless and s12?
what would you do between the Dusk and the Oracle? which would you keep?
Oracle!
you don't want to think about it for a minute? 😜
@@Gizaudio Is Oracle more comfortable? I returned Dusks because my outer ears started to physically just after like 15 minutes of wearing them (concha). I was thinking about buying Oracle or Dunu SA6 or Shuoer S12) or maybe something from Sennheiser. Are they more comfortable than Dusks?
I got Dusk, Oracle, and Monarch MKii. I love music
and ER2SE too. love those little devils
@@barbasour Hey! I had to return Dusks because they were uncomfortable to me and my outer ears (concha) would hurt after just like 15 minutes of wearing them. I was actually thinking of buying Monarch MK2, Oracle ir ER4XR. Could you please tell need more about their comfort? Especially comparing to Dusks since I have tried them.
@@Mido_ if you can't wear Dusk, most probably you couldn't fit the Monarch MKii. Oracle is a bit smaller than Monarch MKii. Dusk is thicker while Monarch MKii is both wide and thick. both have a pretty thick nozzle too. it's not just about the size but it's also about the shape and the protrusion of the nozzle. the angle. based on my experience, many people have difficulties with all of them except Oracle.
Dusk is a very good fit for me even at first time. just snuggly sit in my ears. Monarch MKii requires a little bit of time. it hurts my antihelix for the first 2 days for at least 2 hour of use. after that, it's all good and sound. same goes for the Etymotic deep insertion. it hurts my ear canal for the first 2 days but very pleasant after that. I can even sleep with them on. but it's all for the sound. I think they are all worth it for the sound quality alone. but it depends on what you prioritize. if you really like the sound, you can try to give it a chance, give it some time. your ears will learn the shape and reform.
I think Oracle is the most comfortable for most people. followed by Dusk then Etymotic. Monarch MKii is a special case.
Er2se is fantastic but the fit is " let it be" i regret buying it but for sound is very good for the money
@@anatol1204 try it again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. remember to always insert deeper :)
Just use the foam tips and you don't have to insert them deep, etymotic includes the best foam tip on the market. Just use the deep insertion ones when you need maximum sound isolation. The best passive noise isolation on market. I really like etymotic. The er3xr is my favorite.
Hey guys, does Xduoo link 2 bal and cayin ru6 dac have a 100% balanced 4.4mm port?
Few people have commented that they do not have a fully balanced output port is that true?
@@Hari-kx2er thanks for the reply. Where to find if the Xduoo link 2 bal 4.4mm is balanced or not. What will they mention it as?
@@Hari-kx2er checked there, it is mentioned bal not fully balanced.
I actually own only two IEMs, the BL-03 and the ER2SE. I use the Blon as my daily beater set when exercising, doing chores, running errands, or while on the job, and I use the ER2SE for critical listening when at home. I plan on buying the Ikko OH10 as an upgrade of sorts to the Blon to replace it as my daily, as I've grown kind of sick of the Blon's sound (bit too warm, bit too polite in the upper mids, lacking in detail), and I'm hoping the OH10 will address those issues while still being a fun, bassy daily set. I think with that said, those three will likely be my only IEMs for the foreseeable future. I can't see myself getting rid of the Blon, as it's the set that got me into the hobby, so it holds sentimental value. I'll likely keep the ER2SE forever as the set that opened my eyes to great tuning and detail retrieval. Seriously, every time I consider buying a $300+ set I talk myself out of it because I have the ER2SE. And unless the OH10 doesn't sound appreciably better than the Blon, I don't see any reason I'd get rid of it, plus it's quite the looker of a set.
OH10 sounds WAY better than blon3 ...grab it
And the anole v14?
I'd pick 10 Chu's.

sell the 300 though lol, unless youre planning to use it
what about qoa barbados?

Nice but i think it would have more sense if you have chosen only 3..
I used to use z1r for bass but now just lza4pro ,with, red filter, black screw, deconi foam tips,ak sp2000 balanced, linsoul lsc08 cable, this tuning gives me the best sub bass and female vocal contrast ever with smooth upper treble no fatigue.
what is Iza 4 pro ?
Hi Chris, super interesting comment. Is this in relation to Giz's comments about the Variations being the only option that has a sub bass focus over bass/mid bass without losing out on mid and treble? I wasn't aware of HZ Audio until I read your comment last night. They looks super interesting, could you possibly tell me how the soundstage/imaging and resolution/details are in relation to any other IEMs please? They are half the price of the Variations, curious how the LZ A4 Pro compare if you have had the chance to listen to any?
@@MicroRCFiend what is l4 a pro?? an iem ?? not finding anything online.
To microfinde, Lza4pro + aksp2000 is a niche tuning, it depends how you like to listen to music. With a Samsung s20 phone or basic warm mp3 player like agptec a05st the Lza4pro has borderline average soundstage/imaging and resolution/details but the aksp2000 player is exceptional in those regards, its too bright for my Ierz1r ,ejo7, clairvoyant s,tanchjim oxygen, even with foam tips, Iv had no luck with eq but the tuning plugs on the Lza4pro work well .this is a dark tuning set up, female vocals are very dominant, so is sub bass with exceptional detail and timbre . The upper treble and lower mids are recessed. The result is dominant seductive forward female vocals right inside your head contrasting with a lot of well defined bass, that imaging is niche. Best try headphones and player configurations in a shop before you buy. Crinacle gave Lza4pro a D rating, he seems to like balanced headphones with good overall imaging, I don't.
@@christopherbaxter1691 Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed reply. I really do appreciate it. There are no UK based shops that sell or allow trying of Chifi IEMs. that I am aware of after a fairly heavy search. All I have is my experience of other IEMs (less than 20), online frequency response charts and what I believe to be my listening goal. Buying from somewhere that would allow returns is probably the safer option even if I lose a bit of cash for the privilege. Appreciate your time bud.
No Timeless on the list 😱
I'm a bit surprised that the 7Hz Timeless was not on this list, hell I don't think any planer made this list. Is there a reason why?
I ask as I am an owner of the 7Hz Timeless and love them so would be on my list.
any tips where i can test iems? in germany theres no hifi store that sells chifi - which is clearly the best bang for your buck. and im afraid of stepping up to B2 or variations bc the fit could be an issue with my small ears.

the way you reviewed 7hz timeless almost tempted me to buy that..now you didn't added to this list - bought Kato cuz Oxygen not available in my place
the reason for buying Kato is there is no negative reviews.. whereas for timeless there are 2 extreme reviews...but seriously it's a shocker that you didn't timeless in this list...too much build up u gave man😅
"...was so hard to narrow down to 10 IEMS ... "
... Me owning just the one pair of SE535 for the last 10 years ...
... Which is already way more investment than the average person does ...
But what about 7hz Timeless? 😢
Like I said, many great ones had to be cut because it's on keep 10 lol
wow...not a single planar in the list...where is 7Hz???
Oracle gang.
This week. I gave 20 to people that and afford any. I meet this guy from Bangladesh that his family has nothing and he has a job with a low salary in dubai. I gave him 5 sets. And the other 15 was to people that cant afford . Now I have this mind set. Ok I take this to the gym in case it breaks. And then the best ones I never use. Because aT home I listen to home stereo . Big problem what to listen
how can we make sure that these are your "honest" opinions when those affiliate links under you vid screams otherwise?
Because if you buy from the links and end up not liking it because it sucks, you'd never watch my videos again. So, it's to my best interest to ONLY recommend good things so I can build long term sustainable fanbase.
Xenns Up?
no 7Hz Timeless? hmmm...
Still love it, but as this list I can only keep 10, many were left out.
@@Gizaudio thanks for your reply. I only have 2 IEMs and one of them is 7Hz Timeless so I'm wondering if Dusk or Variations is that much better for you pick them over 7Hz. I mostly listen to 80s and 90s K and J-Pop with occasional electronic music (think Blade Runner 2049 OST) so it makes me wonder if I should really shell out for Variations or Dusk. really curious about IE 600 but anything above Variations is beyond my budget :-(
Hearing you describe iems as gods is really weird
If my house is on fire, got every important stuff out, and can get 10 IEMs, I'd just get the 10 most expensive ones, then sell them.
what he meant was: house on fire on island, no buying, selling lol
I would obviously take the most expensive ones.
Even if I don't care for them.
Then sell the ones you don't care about for money rebuild your collection.
I'm not going to save any kz over my 7hz or campfire Andromeda, even though I'm not crazy about the 7hz.
And if you have any over a grand, whether I like them or not, they are not dying in the fire.
What a silly scenario 😜
Yeaaah but that's a boring way of going about the video lol
