I am not Mexicano but I am Californian. I am grateful that there is a lot of excellent Mexican food here. There are 2 Mexican restaurants within 2 blocks of where I live and so many more within a 5-mile radius. It's such a blessing to have so many food choices from more of a premium experience to family-driven taquerias. This video is an eye-opener into how far one can go with regional cuisines abroad. The dessert looks amazing and showcases her heritage as well as her pastry chef chops.
@@andersandkaitlin wow! This may be the coolest, RUclips subscription I’ve ever made! Your channel rocks! I live in Northern California, so LA is about a 5 to 6 Hour Drive/90 minute-ish flight. However, one of my close friends just moved to the City of Angels so this is definitely gonna have to be a field trip in the summer!
@@chocolatesouljah That's awesome - glad you enjoy our content! if you wanna connect with us on another level, we have a worldwide food club called The Hungries. Many California members already. andershusa.com/the-hungries/
I texted this one because the sound was a bit off, but also because many people don't watch videos with sound, e.g. on their phones while on the bus, etc.
Like Rosio explains so well in this vide, she uses Mexican flavors and age-old techniques, but is not afraid to mix with local Scandinavian produce. That's how food cultures evolve ;)
Sorry but this is not mexican food, is americanized look like mexican food but is not!. wtf vegan tacos?! now thats offensive. It is worrying that people with money in the United States go around the world opening restaurants and call them Mexicans when they are not!. Imagine the tourists when they come to Mexico they will see Mexican food that is not what they know or tried in their country and does not exist here.
Food evolves. As a Mexican myself, I can tell you that her food is Mexican food. No all Mexican food looks like what people serves in the states. There are many regions in Mexico and they celebrate the diversity of ingredients including vegetables....

C Y it’s not THAT old. Thanks :)
its super cool to see that there is some version of chicharon in so many cultures
Haha, yes, this one was crazy.
That salmon tostada and churro dish look amazing. I hope the restaurant does well. Her taqueria is fantastic.
Absolutely, and the mole!
Great job Rocio! A native of Chicago, and Farragut graduate!
She is awesome :)
I recognise her from some Noma's videos!
MOZZinOwlCity1992 she’s gotten quite some press through them, yes :)

We love Rosio's food!
looks amazing
Tastes terrific too!
Do you use any mic for video? If you use, can you tell me the name of the brand? It is always a great joy to watch your video:)
Yes, we do, but this one was actually shot with the camera mic, I believe. But we use a Røde microphone.
Congratulations, her tacos are some of the best in Copenhagen
Charles Kuhn does it taste Mexican more more Scandinavian? I don't know if this makes sense
they are for sure! THE best in my opinion.

BOTAO LI haven't been to the restaurant, but the taqueria is really nice
Why are people always trying to reinvent the wheel? When it comes to tacos, all you need is some meat, cilantro, onion, and hot sauce. 😑
You get that combo here!

Vegan tacos are offensive? Wow. You need to chill down. Don’t think RUclips is good for you.
