You need to swing by and try it, for sure ! We basicly make our lunch boxes a " little" down graded from the service shown, but pretty damn close and allways with toppings. From root-bead to " remoulade" last one you need to try and look up! Usually served on fried fish with citrus juice. I recommend you to look on yt for a specific West-Coast delite. " stjerneskud" . Remember to swing by, got both Tivoli and Lego-land waiting for you!
First time seeing professional cooking without fire!! I wondered about the ability to micro-control temps with electricity, but I guess it can be done…. Thanks for an excellent video as always!
induction is revolutionizing cooking for sure. It's the new mainstream in Sweden and Denmark for sure. Gas was never popular, tbh, over here. And now, the same speed of heating is readily available in much safer and environmentally cleaner ways. :)
I never comment, but after so many beautiful places and delicious foods, only you , to delight us with a trip to CUBA to learn about its culinary culture. Who knows ?
I used to travel there on business for years, this takes me right back! Awesome video. Hope you post more and go over to Sweden next. Smaland is my second favorite next to Copenhagen.
Amazing! I wish there were subtitles because I couldn't hear everything (annoying), but loved the video and I actually appreciated getting to see how to eat them at the end!
Either I'm too "contry" minded or old-fashioned 😂 a bit too fancy for my pallet but a work of art Hope you enjoyed the food, I really recommend visiting the small cities for more authentic taste 😅😅👏🏻
Its funny how gourmet food is only gourmet when its served to and eaten by people who never ate it before or dont live in the country/culture where it originated from lol. Somewhere out there is a couple kids in a village by the sea going "ugh, poached eel with sturgeon eggs over saffron rice and duck sauce AGAIN mom.... I dont know why we can't eat smoked goose with sauteed shitake mushrooms in a sweet coconut glaze over pickled leeks dressed with red vinaigrette like everybody else". Mom: just just up and eat your food!
You usually get more than one 👍🏽 depending on size, and it's a lunch food here in Denmark, so it's supposed to be a little lighter than dinner so you can go back to working without being too full :)
`You need to remember that the ryebread is pretty dense and very high in fibers so after 4-6 pieces on that size bread, you will start to feel pretty full. On the positive side, you will have enough energy to stay active for at least half a day on that. It used to be common to bring 4-6 pieces of smørrebrød to work in your lunchbox when working in industrial jobs, albeit with a bit more simple toppings.
@@TheChiefEng *Cough* Are you seriously suggesting that normal people eat 4-6 pieces of restaurant grade smørrebrød? I can eat 2, sometimes 3, my bf who eats a lot more than I eats 3, usually. "Højbelagt" like this is ridiculously filling and also ridiculously expensive. Please don't go around misleading the poor tourists XDDD
When the Danes celebrate, we make "The big cold table". There are usually 5-10 different dishes, and sometimes even more. Everyone wants to taste everything, so we make small open sandwiches. I can guarantee you that everyone will be full when the meal is over.
Really cool, but I think I would prefer all ingredients mixed together, and less of it so it's easier to eat (of course that would ruin the presentation, but I don't mind that)
This is I am sure excellent food and yes, I do find fine dining annoying, but I must disagree with the executive chef's choices here. Every dish is very reminiscent of the others, i.e., it all looks the same.
So salmon, beef tartare, and celery root are the same thing to you …? 😂 That’s probably why you find it annoying, you have no concept of what you’re talking about.
Sandwich versions: 2:52 marinated herring 5:35 cold smoked salmon 7:56 dry-aged beef tartar 10:48 grilled beef chuck roast 14:06 winter truffles 15:37 salt baked celeriac
My fiancée and I vacationed there in December. So delicious and can't wait to visit Denmark, again.
Wow, now I’m inspired to travel to Copenhagen as well.. some day
you should! it's lovely!
come!!!
This is really cool, first time I've seen food served like this
That is practically the (emphasised) Danish national dish.
Just not always as elaborately done.
We eat it for lunch, for a snack, for parties.

There is a lot to see, but it’s clean…organized in the minds of those who do the cooking..
yeah that's part of our Danish souls! we love clean and organized kitchen!

Danish brothers sure know how to make a sandwich. Top notch video as a whole. 👌
Slices to die for. Splendid and sumptuous 👏🌟

Rolls a joint and pop’s on Aden Films, Nap Time.
Nice Food
it never occurs to me why chef build a bite like lego, which only a python may take care of.
Det er en meget smuk havneby. Restauranten og atmosfæren er god.
Esse de Salmão deve ser incrível 😃
GOOD❗😄👌👍❤🙏
What do they use instead of raw egg yolk?
Dried egg yolk.
Cured egg yolk.
These look snack-sized to me. Definitely couldn't be full meals, could they?

Wow 51 € for a sandvich, thats expensive I say!
9:20 is that raw minced meat?
Yes!
Steak tartare. It is delicious. But it does have to be prepared specially for this kind of thing to not just be diarrhea waiting to happen.
好餓喔
03:21..................Kunne det være mere skrabet 😆
Fresh Dill 👨🏻🍳
好酷
It’s stuff like this that makes hate cooking more than ever.
Looks great, but I'll pass on the raw beef. Yikes
$56.
Expensive and tasty hobby you have there.
THAT'S A LOT OF NUTS!
What's this now Aden ? Hmmmm...
Microscópica comida

Food porn at its juiciest. Yess, thank you.
There's no way you eat this without a fork and knife.
You're supposed to eat it with a fork and knife. It's only the simple/barebones types of this food that anyone would eat by hand.
Kameloso
Майонез!!!!!!!!!

Surprised that no one is wearing face and/or hair coverings.
All restriction are of, so swing by and enjoy life again!
Ridiculous overpriced “smørrebrød” did not even got the tooth butter concept right…
