During nightlife, my primary purpose is gathering bottles, and clear litter as an afterthought. Last week it took me 4 trips over 4 days to clear a specific area I vowed to make pretty. I emptied sacks and sacks of trash, and my corpse got used much woth aching feet and back. Having a hurting knee does not help. Gotta make this town pretty before you might invade it. I recommend seeing the channel Travelin' Young. They did a video when they were in this town.

Note that lagkagehuset represents the absolute worst of Danish businesses. Their succes comes solely from exploiting the tax system and varius financial fraud scemes, transfering all profits out of the country and thues pays close to 0 income tax, outcompeting local bakers. Their is an active case against the owners whom are currently hiding in a non extradition country while they juggled the money between several shell companies. So while the individual stores and franchise owners are not directly complicit, the company will properly be gone in a few years.
as a danish baker iam sorry you were lured in to Lagkagehuset and thinking that this is a real danish bakery, then i have to burst your bubble Lagkagehuset is a concept bakery like mc donald you can get ste same cake in one end of denmark and you get the same cake in the other end of danmark, ther are 4 big factory bakerys that make all the bread and its driven out to the shops at night some of the cakes can be upto 3-4 days old wen you buy them, its kinda like bakeoff bread, low quality and hige prize

I doubt Baest is worlds best pizza. I've had it and the pizza was amazing I couldn't swallow it. But theres a place in Italy that has a Michelin star for its pizza which should be number 1. Also I did get their Margherita pizza.

Every so-called review/video people make here is going to all the tourist traps, go into the local places, i tell you that you get more for the money and is ALOT better. The danish traditional hotdogs is a red weiners, you get those at the normal hotdog stands. Go try the traditional danish dishes, the small places that is "hide" away. That is were you get the real taste of danish kitchen. And when it comes to pastry, you wanna go find aswell the small ones that a normal dane goes to.

@@ManpsOnTheMap Tourist advice: Ticket to buses, trains etc. (If you do not know already buying a regular ticket to this is overpriced and a trap.) Go to the 7Eleven, tell you need anonymous travel card (This card you can enter money to travel cheapest, they do not advertise this to tourist, so you travel like everyone else in Denmark for cheaper money. just remember to charge it up either with credit card at the stands or you can walk into 7eleven and pay cash etc. for charging it up.) The stands will tell you how much money there is on the card just by putting it, normally 200-300 DKK will make you travel far with, to anywhere in Denmark and you dont have to think about finding how to get ticket etc. just remember to check in and check out on the stands, as they charge you if you dont check out when you travel is done. Public transport. (Is normal for most danes, you find most buses and trains have short waiting time, we talking: 5-30 minutes of waiting time. (Do not use taxi etc. wanna get poor fast? that is how you get poor fast.) Amusement park: Bakken (Oldest Amusement park in the world.) Price = Free entry (only pay for what you wanna try - cafes, restaurants etc. is standard danish prices) Eating: Any Smørrebrød store (Small ones, anywhere than centrum) Go out of centrum, i can not tell this enough, go to different towns no one talks about north, south, east and west, all towns have there owns small things to offer. Go to the small restaurants, cafes etc. with small menu cards, you can not go wrong on this one. hard to get something that is not good. Bakeries: Go to the towns small bakeries, there is less and less of them because of the pressure of big chain stores. (Sadly) Hostel, hotels is way cheaper, they useally also offer danish breakfast, wifi etc. in the price and you see the hidden gems in the country. try for example Køge, there is danish food and one of the biggest icecream in the country, its called Flagskib. (Warning on that one, you better like iceream and sugar and a very empty stomach.) (Køge Marina offer good danish sea food) Wanna try viking food? Go to Roskilde, at the viking museum, they got a restaurant serving that. Anyway most sea coast town offer fresh food from the sea. The more north you go the more expensive things get, and the more south, east, you go from Copenhagen the cheaper it get. i might have left something out, not sure....but i hope the people use this, will get more out of there vacation and vacation for less money.
