We are from Copenhagen and used to live there, until we finally got enough of the insane prices. Eating out in Copenhagen is so ridiculously expensive that even a low budget restaurant comes across as pricey. It’s a shame really becuase there is a lot of great food and restaurants , but as a tourist visiting it has got to be a big turn-off!
To be honest I’d be fine with that, knowing that all the staff are being paid well. Obviously it may be a problem if I was there for a long stay. Denmark’s a wealthy country... What can you do 🤷♂️
It's cause in Denmark, we only eat out on special occasions. We're a nation who prides on eating at home with your family with homemade meals. Buying ingredients and making your own food will be cheaper.
We stumbled across Morgenstedet in Freetown this past summer and I can confirm the food is excellent and the selection varied. They don't serve alcohol but you can take your food out into the bigger seating area and buy a beer there if that's your thing.
As a viewer, I love Kara's energy. Travelling isn't always easy but her joy and positivity are infectious!

A 19 minute video? Wow, what a treat! I cannot WAIT!!! ❤️
I know.... we just couldn’t decide what to cut out, so we didn’t 🙃
@@KaraandNate Oh, no! Never doubt! If you're not sure, leave it in! We love all the Kara and Nate goodness we can get! 🤗🤗
Amazing to see you on home ground. You really captured the essence! Well done. PS: “Tak fordi du så med” 😉
Copenhagen is the best! Glad you ate a hotdog. I waited until our last day and have been dreaming about them ever since. No way to replicate in the states! The best food we had was when we ate at our former exchange student's grandparents house. Authentic and delicious! Love your vlogs!
non of the hot dogs you was eating was a daily hot dogs it's was luxury and 'hippi' vegan stuff.. not a truly danish hot dog :(
i agree where is my artificialy red collored sausage and the plain bun with raw and fryed onions remolade and strong mustard ketchup and pickeld sliced cumubers on top
Yeah, they should have went to Harry's place
@@olivermahl995 You just need to grow up sissy.
@@Wings_of_foam one reason why? cause i have an opinion on how a real danish hot dog is suppose to be ? and by the way why do you feel the need too start calling me things you could never possibly know anything about? i will send you a thought hug since you obviously crave some love you never got (as a child maybe ?) have a nice day
🤷♀️
I can’t decide if I love it when you guys go to places I have traveled to more than places I’ve never been! I love Copenhagen, it’s been fun seeing it through your lens. A little surprised you didn’t go to the Street Food Market.
Why hasn't the Travel Channel given you two your own show yet???
Why the hell would they let Travel Channel ruin a good channel!???
Right?!? I'd definitely watch it!
And have higher up executives attempt to micromanage what they do and where they go - naaaah.
@@kingkijij I do, the comment above me does.
It's 2020, no one cares about tv anymore. Its better with youtube now, that's were everyone watches things
I wish you guys had more videos, I'm so hooked I check every day to see ifmyou posted a new video, hello from Cape Ray, Newfoundland .. if you ever come here let us know.. you will certainly enjoy.. you guys are inspiring us to do this.. looking forward to the next video..
Kara: “I’m having a hard time with the Danish language”
Don’t worry Kara, so are they
No not really ( I am from denmark.

Kara and Nate IM FANGIRLING OMG😭😭💜
I loved the vlog! I appreciate Copenhagen even more now 🤩 You guys have to come to Norway after Denmark!! 🇳🇴
Love the video I have finally caught up with all your travels only finding you a month ago. Fantastic content especially enjoyed the different train journeys. Cant wait to see the next up load x Sarah-Jane from Scotland 🏴
My first thought, before even watching it is, "I wonder if Nate will eat every Danish danish that he finds." He'll be in sweets heaven! 😂
You just got a new subscriber :) you guys are great... i´m glad you enjoyed being in Denmark and visiting my country and even made me feel like i need to explore my own country more! thank you
Low-key loling at the Grød staff in the back blantantly staring at you guys review their food XD
This is the right way to travel .... eat your way through the region .... strong work, love the videos.
As Italian I have to admit that the cappuccino seems to be well made! Guys you're sooo nice, really. I'm addicted to your vlogs... Ciao! Renata
I love going back and watching these older episodes!!✌🐢
New game, every time Kara or Nate say Super we all take a shot. 🥃😁. Who’s buckled by the 10 minute mark?
Looks like an amazing place, say hi to our Tasmania born Princess Mary, if you see her on your travels! Love your videos 😊😀😇😉😘
I'm watching it almost at midnight in India and it's making me hungry! I should have watched it tomorrow reading the caption! Damn, notifications!
Copenhagen is a nice city. but definitely seems you HAVE visit the world's smallest metropolis Århus / Aarhus .. aka the smile city ..
We stumbled across Morgenstedet in Freetown this past summer and I can confirm the food is excellent and the selection varied. They don't serve alcohol but you can take your food out into the bigger seating area and buy a beer there if that's your thing.
Ooooh! Kara, what did you have for dessert? 🤗 And oh yes... #flyawaynapkin 😁 You guys are just adorable ☺️
I have apple and cinnamon porridge every morning for breakfast and I add chopped up strawberries and blueberries and chia seeds to it, I love it 😋
