    This is a great idea!

    Flexzilla is a very flexible hose. I started with it but it will collapse on the reel and restrict water flow unless you fully pull all the hose off the reel. I changed to a commercial hose that is crush resistant. It has worked out well for me, just my opinion.
    Great video 👍

      Thanks! What I plan to do is get 3 50' sections of flexzilla 3/4" hose. I'll attach them with quick connects, then pull off what I need and connect it straight to the filter, bypassing the manifold completely. This is what I do with my big hose reel on the back of my trailer.

    IBC tote is the way to go. I won't use anything else. My setup is a lot like yours. It works well for me, I strap my extension ladder on top of my IBC tote as well.

      Thanks. It's been convenient!

      It looks very convenient! We have a 150 feet heavy duty water hose like that from Amazon for water supply to our buffer tank and it works out very well but we have been thinking about a way to have a water source to rinse off the trailer or our hands or fill a bucket I guess we’ll headed back over to Amazon.

      @Adam Mitchell this hose is advertised as 25'. It's about 8-9' w/out pressure on it so it doesn't take up much room.

    Nice setup! 👍 are you batch mixing for your softwash setup? maybe a quick video on that?

      Yes, I've been batch mixing for several yrs. Planning to upgrade to one of Gerald vess's air systems when I can. I'll try to remember to do a video on it. Thanks for the recommendation

    quick question sir? what did you use for leads when first starting

  • @sliver108

    I noticed you have most of your hose reels mount it directly to the rail of your trailer. I was thinking about doing the same thing. Have you had any issues with them rocking back and forth or anything else with stability?

      You'll definitely want to check the welds periodically. I need to brace them but haven't yet. I'll be remodeling my trailer within the next yr or so.

    Is soft washing more profitable that pressure washing driveways etc?

    Is the 100 ft flexzilla more than enough? I was gunna buy a new hose next check for my start up. Just making sure i wont need 2?

    • @cleanindustriespressurewas4073
      @cleanindustriespressurewas4073  Год назад +2

      For 90% of residential, 100' is enough. But I'd carry 150-200 to be safe (for residential). For commercial, I'm not leaving the house with less than 500'.

    You are restricting the hell out of your water with that much hose and the hose going over your reel collapsed I rather bypass reel pull of however much hoses needed
