Nice video series Matt. Your set up looks nice and clean. The banjo filter will work how you have it on it’s side but optimally the correct way is with the strainer facing down. Dirt and solids will fall into the strainer with the help of gravity. I see many installs where people have it facing straight up which is incorrect and as you stated the drain plug should be on the bottom, not facing straight up. I commented on a few videos pointing out that they had the filter installed correctly but they told me i was wrong. I work in a chemical plant with a very complex process and we use Wie type strainers all through and they are all mounted with the strainer facing down and of course with the drain plug on the bottom. Good luck to you!
Looks great. Getting that elbow on that reel is a total pain in butt. The weld on my handle failed as well. My other reel is a cox and it's super easy to service and use.
I have my banjo filter near the edge of my trailer, and, when I need water, I just unscrew the little tab screw on top of the filter and let the water out from there if I need to wash my hands or anything,,,,
Did you have an issue connecting your two 100’ 3/8” hoses? I’m having an issue with connecting two 50’ s on my titan 4312 reel. Where I connect it with the quick connect it’s so damn bulky and my plastic covers at the ends are causing it to bulk out as well.
Looks great matt... I don't think you should have a problem with running chemicals through your hose reel and hoses. At about a 1% mix it should be fine. Just always flush the injector and lines and all at the end of the day and you should be fine.👌🏼
I’m planning on doing the same size trailer and set up. What size buffer tank do you have on that? Are you going to be putting your surface cleaner on the trailer or somewhere else will it fit on a 4 x 6 trailer? Thanks bro
Is that bulkhead 1/2 ? I’m trying to do this exact set up plumbing wise so I can fill up a bucket and downstream. Also wanna somehow configure a garden hose connect where I can fill the tank and rinse out my diaphragm
You did a excellent explanation job. Loved. I don’t know if you can! But maybe can you help figure out my new trailer? Is it possible you send me a link to buy all those connections? I really appreciate your help. Thank you
Thanks appreciate that. I got the stuff from many different vendors. If you are referring to the plumbing from the tote. Go to www.pressurewasherproducts.com Lori can hook you up when you call.
@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 so basically it looks like you have two bolts holding the reels on to the side rail...correct? Yes it's me again I had a death in the family and my build was delayed.
Nice. Go to www.pressurewasherproducts.com They have it all broken down as far as GPM machines. Not sure the proper size for a 5gpm machine. I know my 8gpm is 1 1/2”
Hey Matt. Before you even said where you were from, I said Brooklyn or Staten Island lol. I am On Staten Island too. I didn't see a chemical injector to downstream your chem mix or a chem tank. Are you going to draw from a bucket? Where are you going to put the injector by the pump or wand? Good luck out here man.
Lol that’s great! I have a downstream injector and I mostly use an xjet. I do not want to run all my chemicals through my pressure reel so will probably just use the xjet until I get a 12v pump and reel just to spray chemicals. Thanks man you too
Domingo Garcia the yellow hose goes from my unloader straight to my buffer tank. It’s a bypass to always keep fresh water going through your pump. If you don’t have that, when your off the trigger water heats up and messes up your seals. Doing like that prolongs life of pump and seals.
Hi Desmond I got it from Marco at Washmart.com Only problem is they discontinued it or he stopped selling it. I had a problem with the hose leaving blue marks on freshly cleaned surfaces. I would advise against blue and just get grey 1 wire.
Thanks for the video im thinkin of a trailer build but i feel like i fucked up i bought a 1000 pressure washer last year and i didnt get a belt drive i feel like i wasted a grand now its bin sittin in my shed didnt even start it yet its one of them Simpson 4gpm ones
Real Nice Work! Where did you get that non collapsible hose ? Also, I’ve got that exact washer on order. How do you like it? Got any videos of it in action ?
Sean OBrien thanks appreciate that. Got the hose from pressure washer products. They sell a whole plumbing kit. Just have to give them specs on your machine and they hook it up. Machine is great I’ve only had it for a few months and it’s solid been doing residential and commercial jobs with it no problem. Subscribe to me I have a few quick demo videos. This week I’ll put a few more.
@@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 How is the 3/4 suction line to the Pw running? Just wondering if I can run a 1 inch line to my Pw? Just got a 5.5 gpm machine thanks bro.
Your rig set up videos are completely changed my vision for my set up and I appreciate it.
Awesome bro 😎

Forgot to mention nice set up. Have something very similar. Good luck to you and you’re business...

Nice setup

Tips on mounting the pressure washer?
Simple drill holes use long stainless bolts, with washers right through the floor boards.
I’m planning on doing the same size trailer and set up. What size buffer tank do you have on that? Are you going to be putting your surface cleaner on the trailer or somewhere else will it fit on a 4 x 6 trailer? Thanks bro
Hi michael. On the 4x6 I had a 65 gallon buffer for my 5.5 gpm machine. Did you see my new build? On the 4x6 there is not room for much else.
Is that bulkhead 1/2 ? I’m trying to do this exact set up plumbing wise so I can fill up a bucket and downstream. Also wanna somehow configure a garden hose connect where I can fill the tank and rinse out my diaphragm
I’m not 100% sure on bulkhead size. I did trial and error for mine. Definitely could hook up hose connectors
Where did you get your titan? I don’t trust spending 900$ online for two reels but I can’t find them anywhere.
How did your plumbing end up working out though?
You did a excellent explanation job.
Loved.
I don’t know if you can! But maybe can you help figure out my new trailer?
Is it possible you send me a link to buy all those connections?
I really appreciate your help.

Thank you very much.
Are those reels mail it directly to the rails without any supports and if so how has that been holding up as far as rigidity etc.?
They have supports on the bottom. Have not had a single problem with them, rock solid.
@@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 I'm looking to do the same thing so that's why I'm asking.
Are the supports welded to the rails?
No nothing is welded on my trailers, it’s all bolted. I like the options to move things around if need be.
@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 so basically it looks like you have two bolts holding the reels on to the side rail...correct?
Yes it's me again I had a death in the family and my build was delayed.
I’m building a rig but I’m not sure what size hose to go with. I have a 5gm 3000 psi. Also what would you recommend for 5.5 gpm soft wash hose?
Nice. Go to
www.pressurewasherproducts.com
They have it all broken down as far as GPM machines. Not sure the proper size for a 5gpm machine. I know my 8gpm is 1 1/2”

What brand hose 100ft
where does the orange hose goes ?
Domingo Garcia the yellow hose goes from my unloader straight to my buffer tank. It’s a bypass to always keep fresh water going through your pump. If you don’t have that, when your off the trigger water heats up and messes up your seals. Doing like that prolongs life of pump and seals.
Would stainless be a problem with chems?
I only have stainless connectors everywhere. Never had a problem I usually change my connections once or year or even longer. It all depends.
Matt Reno- Wash it up pressure washing so as long as you do regular changes, shouldn’t be an issue?
Yes use stainless and change when necessary
Hey Steve thanks. I have 18x24 yard signs I may just throw one on there for now
Where did you get your blue pressure washing hose?
Hi Desmond I got it from Marco at Washmart.com
Only problem is they discontinued it or he stopped selling it. I had a problem with the hose leaving blue marks on freshly cleaned surfaces. I would advise against blue and just get grey 1 wire.
Thanks a lot.
Last question, where did you get the grey hose from?
Same place. Washmart.com
Thanks for the video im thinkin of a trailer build but i feel like i fucked up i bought a 1000 pressure washer last year and i didnt get a belt drive i feel like i wasted a grand now its bin sittin in my shed didnt even start it yet its one of them Simpson 4gpm ones
It will work- A direct drive cleans the same as a belt. 4gpm is 4gpm..for any house 4gpm is well enough...make that money and stop waiting...

What size hose is that? 3/8
Which hose do you mean? Feed? Pressure?
Pressure?
I think it’s 3/8” not 100% sure. Go to
www.Washmart.com
I get my stuff there from my boy Marco. It will say size on the website
Hows it working out? I will be building one to do some work in NJ
Worked out great for last year. This year I built a 6.5 x12’ with 2 machines and a big buffer tank
It’s bullshit that it doesn’t come with the 1/2 to 3/8 connection
