Did you make those brackets or buy them? Just starting out and those would be perfect.
Do you change by the square ft or linier ft.
great video thanks!
How are you pricing this?
Question about how you fill your ibc tank. Do you have a pump to feed to water or do you use the water pressure. I'm seeing people getting pumps to feed the pressure washer and to me that's crazy and unnecessary. Thanks for the time and video I'm building this exact set up
Yeah people over complicate everything. Just hook up to customers water source, no need for a pump. Thanks
the chair on the table? that might break table right? we use buckets on our side good job and hope you rbusy busy
Thanks Very Much for the video but i cant do my self Its very hard for me 😞😞😞😫☹😭
Nice setup. How many gallons of water you use on an average home ?
Thanks for the video. I’m thinking about doing something. I’m a carpenter by trade but I’m ready for a change. Thinking about washing. Torn between a trailer or a skid. I like the idea of the skid by I’m afraid it might limit me
Hi Matt. New sup here. How’s it going. Great videos. You still washing?
Cool idea. I never thought of that but could see that working
Real nice setup
can you share a link for your logo and signs please??
set up came out clean!
I have my banjo filter near the edge of my trailer, and, when I need water, I just unscrew the little tab screw on top of the filter and let the water out from there if I need to wash my hands or anything,,,,
Hey Matt. Question? How many calls and jobs do you usually get with 5000 cards? Thanks
It really depends. No set number. I heard people say 1% return. But not sure. I look at it like this, out of 5000 cards get 20 or so calls, book 10 jobs that pays for itself and more.
What are your thoughts on a ge 4gpm 4000 psi belt driven pressure washer with Honda motor and general pump?
Not sure what you mean? My thoughts? It’s a great starter setup. I worked with a 4gpm for one season then bought an 8gpm, could not use the 4 ever again, just does not throw enough water. 8gpm all day, now I run 2 and bang jobs out.
will a 4gpm belt driven pressure washer pull water from a 100 gallon water tank?
Any belt driven pump Will pull water. Don’t matter the gallons.
@@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 Thank you so much!
Did you put barb into supply hose from pressure washer? Mine is leaking and I think I’m just going to replace it with male thread to 1 inch barb
Can't you have some peel and stick labels with the indicia made to fix the first 5k?
What are the other two barbs doing (yellow tubing)?
I have 2 floats valves. One for when I only run 1 machine, I want to only fill the tank 1/2 way and not worry about it, the other float is to the top. The yellow tubes are the unloaders from the pressure washer. They cycle fresh water constantly even off the trigger. That way don’t burn out pumps
I’d recommend using a hose reel swivel. It’s 90 degrees and will allow your hose to hang freely
Is that wood flooring? Im trying to replace my floor with something I can use to bolt things down,
Hello if you change pump Out do you have to rest remote
Hi. I have no idea. I only used mine for 6 months. To many problems with 12v in my opinion. I went to an air system.
I am glad I found your video. I’ve been looking for an add on to our exterior cleaning services. I have to really think about this considering I’m a one man show.
thank you for putting this. sooo helpful
Tnx
Thanks for the video brother. Stacking them and counting them and finding the routes is kind of the easy part in my opinion. Figuring out how to design and print has been what’s holding me up I know the size requirements and the thickness requirements, but you showed those two things on the back that are also requirements. People say how easy it is to go on Canva and design your own, but I have found that not to be true. The first thing is from what I understand 6 1/2 x 9 is the best size, and I did not see anything that size on Canva in the templates. The other thing is those two stamps that you have to put on the back I think I saw on the USPS website, but I’m trying to figure out how you get those on there. I’m basically, going to probably just pay someone to do the design for me. Once I get them printed out, it’s not very difficult to put them in stacks of 100 or whatever number you need for specific routes and fill that form out and rubber band it. Yours looked really nice. If you get 40 jobs off of that, I will be impressed. If there’s any advice, you can give about trying to get the original design finished and how to find those two things you need on the back I would appreciate it. Another thing is it didn’t look like you printed on the back of yours, I’ve heard some pros say that you have to print both sides.what’s your thought on that?
Hi @Solopraneur. A professionally designed postcard that encourages people to take action is the key to success with EDDM! Trying to muddle your way through it with Canva is not the way to go (unless you happen to be a graphic designer!). We design beautiful EDDM postcards at a very affordable rate.
Great video. Did you print your flyers, or did you use a 3 party, Tying to find competitive printing price, On budge Pennies let me know.
Thanks. I usually print from Vistaprint. They always have good coupons online.
3 years later and this video is still helpful as all get out. I'm adding an 8 gpm machine to my 5 and was trying to figure out the best set up, thanks Matt.
Thanks!
The brackets for the surface cleaners, are those something you manufactured or purchased?
They are custom. I guy that used to be near me he made them for me.
How do you get the postage mailer ?
Just google the image and copy and paste. Google EDDM mailer logo image.
What kind of pump is it ?
Very clean, and beautiful set up you got there! In the process of purchasing a 5 x 10 soft wash trailer. Big ups from the Bronx.😉
Thank you for this video. Any chance you could let me know where to get the materials and a list of it all?
Your video shows the wrapping done on a concrete surface. What about if my furniture is on a Trex deck?
You could wrap on a deck just don’t heat the bottom to much stay away from it. You will discolor thectrex
Padding the sharp corners helps
Never had to pad corners, just don’t stack that way.
what mill wrap do you suggest?
7mil
hey matt great video i'm thinking a about starting my own business out on the north fork of long island. I'm getting ready to order equipment and supplies. what mil wrap would you suggest I get?
7mil wrap. You need to get your ducks in a row in august. Order your equipment, send out postcards etc.
Matt I’m curious how much you charge a line foot.Mike
I don’t charge per foot for furniture.
Subscribed
What would that job have cost a client of yours and how many can a 2 man team do in a day?
We usually put 3 guys on a crew and do anywhere from 7-8 jobs in a day
Looking good and simple man
Awesome build bro!
Awesome build bro!
I had no idea that I have to print it prior! Thank you
What do you call the product you're using to wrap, and where do you buy massive rolls like that?
Hi Matt. Nice Work. Where are you drawing your bleach from for downstreaming? Is that what the white five gallon bucket is for?
Technically I don’t downstream. I use the air system for chemicals. I batch mix and pull from that 5 gallon bucket yes.
What’s your conversion rate per 1000? Or for the total 5000 also how do you track the numbers?
Can you target home owners only?
Hi! I just got a job for usps as a clerk. Yes! You can target the people you want. You can choose the range age you want .
