I'm building a small pressure/ soft wash rig myself, and it can be a pain in the ass. I really appreciate all the knowledge you have shared. I have also tried to reach out to a couple of people locally and they basically told me to piss off lol, but I will have the last laugh when I grow my business and make a good living. So again thanks for all the great info my friend.
Tracy Kimball your welcome. That’s why I did the video. Not much out there showing the whole process. Glad it helped you. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks again
I'm doing my first build. I screwed together a skid, 4x7 and put together my own pump.. diesel engine and 4gpm pump. 3 reels, toolbox and tank. Plus space for another smaller pressure cleaner on a trolley for even smaller jobs
Hey Matt! Great series of build videos dude! One small thing that I would add is mount a vice in one of the corners of your top rail. It's a huge help, when you're in the field and you need to do a repair.
Great information. I’m trying to plumb my 65 gallon tank. I’m having trouble find the right size tee or bushing that’s coming out the bulkhead fitting.
It says a 2inch bulkhead fitting on the website were I purchased the leg tank from. I would like to have a way to drain the water out the tank before I leave each job.
I purchased the 65 gallon leg tank from tractor supply. According to the website, it’s a 2inch bulkhead fitting. I would like to install a cutoff value in order to drain the water tank before I leave the job
I have the same tank for my chemicals. I used to use it as a buffer. You have to use the inner threads on the bulkhead. Your better off adding another bulkhead. What size machine?
I'm thinking of mounting three 18" titan hose reels with U brackets on my trailer rail like you have your 12" titan..my question is do you think they will be sturdy and no problems on the railing..I also seen on your new trailer you put a support bracket on the titan reel and was wondering if you had to do that because you was having a problem on the first trailer build...I have an aluminum trailer with 2 1/2" railing..Just trying to decide whether to mount them on the floor or railing ..thanks in advance
Hi Casey thanks for the question. You will definitely need to support the reels. Make a plate and support brackets for them. They are to heavy with the reel and 200’ of hose. I had no problem with my old trailer it was a different reel.
my question is what do you use to drill through the steel bars on the side? like when you bolted your vice down to it.im buyin a trailer and would love to know. also, exactly how did you bolt down into the wood?
Hey thanks for the question. Just use a metal drill bit to drill out the holes on the rail and bolt on. The IBC tote is bolted down with U bolts on the 4 corners of the tote. Just drill 2 holes and bolt down. Don’t overthink these things it’s simple.
Nice video man! I'm also putting together by myself, nobody will help! But it's a good thing also because you learn the whole process and if something goes wrong along the way, you will know how to fix it! Very nice, good luck!!
Michael Prentice thanks appreciate that. Yes it is I could go almost 10 min without feeding water to my tank. It’s only 5.5 gpm. Never have a problem. You need bigger tanks when you run 8 gallons a minute and especially 2 machines. All these guys running 4 gallon machines with 275 gallon water totes is totally crazy.
@@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 Matt I have a 300 gallon tank on my 14' tandem axle trailer, overkill most of the time even with 7gpm but sometimes its worth it's weight in gold when you have to do a job for a customer with terrible water flow from a shitty well
@@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 Thank you for looking, I'm looking for the brass piece that goes into the pump on each side. Where the hose clamps onto.
Matt...Very neat setup man...it looks real good. Can I suggest something? Your plumbing is 3/4" but the water filter looks like it is a 1"? If this is true then that will not allow your machine to get the best constant flow. Everything before the filter should have been 1" then it would be no problem to drop down to 3/4". But you can't go from smaller(3/4") to a larger(1"). Just a suggestion my dude... But it looks real good!! 😄
Hi Matt, new to your channel. Nice trailer build. How is the 3/4” bulkhead working? I was going to go with 1” bulkhead but may go with 3/4 now if it’s working fine on yours. I have a 5.5/3500
Thanks appreciate that. I don’t necessarily say I notice a difference but I would go with the 1” in case you upgrade machines one day you will need bigger then.
Ricky walker trailer worked out great last year. This year I built a 6x12. I just got to big for the small trailer. All my jobs are mostly 2 man. I was bringing another machine and it was just to much of a pain. Watch my new videos you will see this years build.
Hey Matt, I’m about to build out my 5x8 ... I’ve already ordered the big stuff and trying to figure out the logistics of the small stuff. Is that extra valve you use to pressurize the lines necessary? Does the 45 gallons provide enough weight to push water all the way into your pump? Great series of videos btw!
Johnny Clark hey Johnny awesome. I was not sure if it would stay primed. I figured this way would be a shore shot way just in case I lost my prime. My buffer tank is not huge and I empty my tank when done with the jobs more times than not. Just make sure you close your back valves from your tank and you should be ok. You could always add it later on if you constantly run into problems. Good luck let me know if you have any questions
Congratulations, looks good . This is what I want... 4x6 trailer that can do the same as a big rig! If you don’t mind me asking how much round about did it cost?

Hey man really appreciate the information I was wondering if I sent a few photos or information you can help me with a few connections I am new to this and no surprise company said they would help when ready to install equipment but been 3 weeks and nothing I am really behind and can use some help
PuJo-JoJo not sure if it will pull. If its belt driven yes it will pull its own water. Honestly a 4gpm machine you don’t need the tank. Technically I don’t even really need it and mine is 5.5gpm. If I was you I would get a small chemical tank and put your mix in there and use that to downstream. Once you go bigger then get a tank. The main reason to get a buffer tank it to run your unloaded to the tank and circulate cold water into your pump so you don’t burn it up.
Bad Weatherfreak I don’t do anything in the winter. No one wants anything til March in the northeast. Your SH tank is your chemical tank. I’m in the process of building a 6x12 with 2 machines. I got an 275 tote on it and using that 60 gallon tank for my SH.

There is bolts and rubber grommets attached to machine, just drill holes in the floor and use washers on the bottom that simple.
