@KhightofJustice2 i have 3 of them. finna buy a fourth soon
@@JxGamesandJike if you’re buying new joycons because of drift it’s a waste money. Buy replacement thumb sticks instead since it’s far cheaper then getting new ones.

The fix is actually putting a piece of a credit card or gift card behind the stick to give it support. That worked for me.

I was goona buy it for mine but I realized it’d get rid of the metal buttons.

I got one for the Pro controller and it looks AMAZING
But mine for the joycons came out with missing light
But just replace them and hopefully you get better lights
The probpem with my joycon lights is that
On the minus button and top right of the L button shows a different color or no color instead of the color i chose
And most of the other colors dont appear as bright
Like I just replace them for better lights (because my pro controller and My right joy cones look amazing rn (Minus the ZR button)
That was so damn difficult but it turned out really good, love it… tried it and worked fine… but I installed the leds only inside the right joycon, because one screw of the left one was already damaged😥 gotta find some way to take it out

I want to try it on my old pair but at the end of the video sthetix said that it is tricky if you haven't disassembled joycons before

Hi, great video there. Would like to ask about this product, will the LED turn off when we put the switch into sleep mode or need to turn off by pressing the 2 side buttons from the joycons?
the kit has its own button combination to activate / deactivate.
@@sthetixofficialthanks for the reply. So you mean every time i put switch into sleep mode i need to manually turn off the LED and when i wake the switch i need to turn back on the LED?
I don't like the fact that I have to remove joy cons to turn the leds off...Im using the Skull & Co grip but have to remove my switch then remove the joy cons

i installed this onto my left joycon and for some reason the left joycon rail isnt working so the controller works fine when its detached but when i try to attach the joycon nothing works :> if you could help me even though its old
Maybe u need to check the flex ribbon cable connection inside the joycon

What do you do if after doing this and minus button isn't clicking or responding
maybe you need to reinspect what you did when you installed the kit.
As you can see in the video, I remodeled it, but it didn't shine. You shouldn't buy it.

no old backup too? then do the prodinfo_gen guide.but first you need to replace the emmc chip.

u can use the current switch to write the nand back

The "Trigger" button
SL and SR light isnt turning on... but the controller itself and LED are working though. do you know what this problem could be? it is for the right joycon.

yes the flex ribbon cable, but you need to replace the SL SR button.
@@sthetixofficial i replaced the cable and it still does the same. the SR button works but the SL and green lights dont. i dont think the cable is the problem here..

my sr sl, my 4 leds, and the sync button doesn't work in my right joycon hahahha so i can't do this mod, i wouldn't do it anyway couse the joycons are not made to be dissasembled, i suffered just changing the analog sticks i have had enough(the sl sr sync and that was faulty before i changed the analog sticks so it were probably faulty from factory, at the beggining they worked but like 2 months ago i noticed that they didn't work anymore, and i saw that the ribbon was broken when i took it apart to change the sticks couse it folds with the battery very bad designed imo), the switch is a good console but the joycons are full of faults
You just need to change the sr sl map, it's easy and cheap, mine had this problem and now it works fine
