@@EQLNetworksSecurity This is the first time I stumbled upon your channel! So glad I did! May I ask, which camera in general from Hikvision would have the absolute best night time clarity as far as facial/plate recognition goes? We do have a lot of motion lights around the house but sometimes its nice to turn them off. Any help would be most appreciated and if you can sell us some POE cameras we would love to do business with you! Thanks again!
very good side by side comparison, how do they perform light on/off at night if car was driving past or towards. does the colour view need dialing in with the light off and if so would passing/on coming lights white out the whole image? or does it alter the gain to compensate?
Not sure of the value of this comparison without knowing the settings. Are these default-out-of-the-box or have you dialed them in? And if not tweaked, how would they compare then, is crucial to know
@2:01 ColorVu Left, AcuSense Right @2:09 "AcuSense slightly narrow'er fov". But from what I can tell the left (so ColorVu) picture has a narrow'er fov. I don't know if the words, or the camera models are mixed up? edit: My bad, I was only looking to the right of both images, indeed the right so AcuSense is a little narrow'er. I think I like the picture on the right for the most part, but colors and details of the background of the left picture look a little bit crispier?! But license plates are WAY better on the right
Depends on what you call discrete. You can get flush mount style cameras or potentially get them painted to blend into the wall colour. Normally with security cameras you want them to be somewhat noticeable so people know they are under surveillance to act a deterrent.
Hi. I have a DS-7216HUHI-K2 DVR with a couple older IP and BNC Turbo HD cameras connected to it. I recently bought a DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL (180 degree panoramic camera) and added to the system. I can see the live view feed on the app ^ online.. but I just can't seem to view it thru the DVR's display (HDMI output to tv). Am I doing something wrong, or is it that the DVR just can't process the wide-angle image?
Well that was only a half of a review. The main advantage of colovu is night color vision, and main advantage of Accu sense iss recognizing of people and cars. I can't understand. Why didn't you test and compare how do they both deal with recognizing people and cars?
@@EQLNetworksSecurity I disagree, of course almost every camera on earth will now recognize movements of objects such as people/cars as you showed us in your video. What makes Hikvision AccuSense cam special is an advantage in identifying ONLY people and cars instead of f.ex. falling leafs or animals. You unfortunately didn't show THIS big feature of AccuSense. I'd love to see that in compare to ColorVu. Because if ColorVu will cover that identifying as good as AccuSense, there will be obviously one winner worth of paying more ;)
What camera would be best for seeing number plates at 10m in the night. I have a street light right outside my house. I've read that 4mp cameras should be at least 1/1.8" and 4k should be 1/1.2" for good night vision. I'd love to see a night comparison between the ds-2cd2347g2 and ds-2cd2386g2 without white light/IR.
1/3 is good enough for 4mp if IR is enabled. 1/1.8 is enough for 4k if IR is enable. Bigger sensor is better always, but 4k camera with 1/1.2 sensor can be pretty expensive
I've been using the 2.8mm gen.1 ColorVu for a couple of years now. I'm not sure why Hikvision is saying that you can not identify at 8 feet on the gen. 2, that's pretty ridiculous.
Good explanation.. and very important... demostration.. I have a place with height 12mts and.. point to focus 40 mts.. What could be a recommendation? In advantage.. .Thousand Thanks...!!!

No worries! Got this! Thanks for your opinion. Please let us know what cameras you prefer and we will see if can do a side by side comparison. That way we compare how the cameras perform under the same conditions.
when you're doing a side by side compare, it would be helpful if you could overlay the model of the camera on the footage
Noted on this. :) We will have these overlays on the succedding videos.

You know that a channel doesn't bother to read the comments when they add a "heart" to it and not reply to an important question lol

What is the best DISCRETE security camera for department entrances ? that records the footage when the motion sensors triggers recoding.

Which was better for motion detection. Especially not missing intrusions or line crossing and giving less false alarms please?
The AcuSense on my end would be the better choice for motion detection.
I have colorvu on both my properties. I have used AcuSense cams, but colorvu beats them in every way. I would very highly recommend colorvu.
When the white light is on, how bright is it ? and can PoE supply enough power ?

we have a review of that in the video. :) Thank you

I think I've figured out that I'd need a dedicated camera for this which is zoomed in and doesn't have IR.

Can't we use the DS-2CD2347G2-LU model indoors? If we cannot use it, can you recommend a camera of this quality with the same features?
Yes this can be used indoors
This is a great comparison of what each sees, but the benefit of the AcuSense should be the AI detection of peoples and cars correct?
yes correct!

only black and white
