Honestly i think there is something wrong with the 208 model or settings are bad... or might be the old firmware. I have both of the cameras in 4mm variant and to be honest they are exactly the same, i mean 1:1. It seems there is literally the same hardware inside them just different casing. The light on 30m variant is more spread than 60m but at the end with no light sources around (i live in the woods) they both see 40m max and thats it. Only difference between the cameras seems to be the size and 30m model has microphone.

Nice one. Let's say I had 2 cameras and 4-port NVR. I later increased the number of cameras to 5. Can I get a POE switch instead of replacing NVR?

Is a computer required for installation or is an NVR device sufficient?

ds-2cd2087g2-lu It looks very bad at 8MP quality you should compare it to a 4 or 6MP camera what is the point of an 8MP camera it doesn't show details. It just has bigger file size and higher bitrate. And higher price What do you think will it be equal to a high 4 mp camera?

High-resolution sensors with optional pixel binning would be perfect, as the amount of light that's captured by the entire sensor is the same (unless the boundaries in between the pixels take up significant area?)

I have a camera that has long pings, request timed out, general failure, and quite a few good pings. Should I lean toward exceeded cable length?

I feel like there are a lot of videos out there, but nobody really covers this. Which makes it hard for us to pick a camera. Hi. I have a DS-7216HUHI-K2 DVR with a couple older IP and BNC Turbo HD cameras connected to it. I recently bought a DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL (180 degree panoramic camera) and added to the system. I can see the live view feed on the app ^ online.. but I just can't seem to view it thru the DVR's display (HDMI output to tv). Am I doing something wrong, or is it that the DVR just can't process the wide-angle image?

Normally when you do a 4K camera review you should upload it in 4K not 1080p so we can see the quality

Worst part about these attacks is if you base this on the killchain for cyber attacka. The attack can only mitigated at the C2 and Execution steps, which means everything prior cannot be intervened with without some serious intrusive movie-level counter ops. Just a zombie horde you can't kill if someone opts to harass you.

@2:01 ColorVu Left, AcuSense Right @2:09 "AcuSense slightly narrow'er fov". But from what I can tell the left (so ColorVu) picture has a narrow'er fov. I don't know if the words, or the camera models are mixed up? edit: My bad, I was only looking to the right of both images, indeed the right so AcuSense is a little narrow'er. I think I like the picture on the right for the most part, but colors and details of the background of the left picture look a little bit crispier?! But license plates are WAY better on the right
