This is great, thank you. May I suggest for licence plates at night time, perhaps have the car lights on to give a indication of performance when the licence plate is illuminated?

Would you agree that this Ds-2cd2t87g2 has the better Image Compared to hikvisions New dual turret ds-2cd2387g2p Model? I think they Just put 2 ds-2cd2387g2 Turrets in one and the Image is the same quality as shown here and the ds-2cd2t87g2 would be hikvisions best Colorvu yet. Too Bad there isnt a turret of this 2t series.

Hi Andy, thanks for watching the video! Glad you found it helpful. The specs for the DS-2CD2T87G2-LU and the DS-2CD2T87G2-L are identical. The main difference between the two would be that the DS-2CD2T87G2-LU model is equipped with a built-in microphone for real-time audio security. This is indicated by the 'U' at the end of the part number.
There is no DS-2CD2T87G2-LU. The comparable camera is DS-2CD2T87G2-LSU/SL which additionally has the strobe alarm, two way mic and 4 x yellow illuminators.
Thanks for comparison, but it seems like the left camera have problem with focus.
Hi Roni. Yes that is we think as well. Its fixed 2.8mm so we are not sure why this is the case. Its seem to be the same on multiple cameras as well.
Thanks very much for this review. It will definitely help me in making a future buying decision. I already own both (though haven't installed them yet). I know it's a completely different camera (and I think not true 8MP as it uses 2 4MP CMOS sensors I believe) but how do you think the 180 degree DS-2CD2T87G2P-LSU/SL would compare to the 60m in terms of sharpness/ overall image quality? I've been looking at that camera but the area I want to install it in, only has a minimal necessary FOV (maybe +/-100 degrees at best). The one I would buy is likely the 4mm (or 6mm) for that reason. do you know the reason why the DS-2CD2T87G2-L image quality is better compared to DS-2CD2087G2-LU.
I Wonder because DS-2CD2087G2-LU does have a bigger Sensor 1/1,2" (DS-2CD2087G2-LU) compared to 1/1,8" (DS-2CD2T87G2-L)
I noticed DS-2CD2087G2-LU is $50 USD cheaper than the DS-2CD2T87G2-L on AliExpress.
Can this bullet camera bendable for slight angle? Not just straight positioning?
Hi Mitchell. Yes the camera can be adjusted. Pan: 0° to 360°, Tilt: 0° to 90°, Rotate: 0° to 3

60meeter camera model?
Hi Kabeer, the part number for the 60m model is DS-2CD2T87G2-L.
The problem is that on paper, the specifications are almost exactly the same, but the difference is huge between the two cameras. Has this been corrected in the new versions, or is it the same thing, because I bought a 2cd2087g2 camera, but it was made in 2023, but I saw the video now. I want to add another camera, what do you advise me?

I did not find any difference except in the range of light, so I thought that in the morning the quality would be identical, and at night I have strong external lighting. I was really shocked by the result because you showed in another video a 4m camera that can read the letters and distant numbers on the yellow plate so I felt disappointed with the company
Your video is misleading. You are switching cameras between sections of the video (left and right). The links to separate videos in the description are also the same. It would also help if you showed the actual camera model under every image across the video. Also, there is no such thing as a 30 or 60 meter camera - there is 2.8mm or 4mm.
Please let us know which sections you are referring to. Will look at the links in the comments and see what happened. Not sure what you mean by there are no 30m or 60m this is referring to IR distance not the lens type.
