From a price perspective it is worth thinking about for me. After driving this I want to buy one, but the hesitation I have is whether or not it would rent as well as the standard models.
I’ve just done a 1000 mile road trip split across 2 days. Yes it’s not a great cruiser on the autobahn but it is still an event to be in. Ear defenders do help with the drone. It drinks fuel though as it is quite short geared.
My wife occasionally takes a ride with me. She doesn't love the drone but she knows I love the car so that's all that matters. Interesting to see this car with the leather option instead of alcantera.
If you are going to compare cars you should have included the 360 Challenge Stradale and the 458 Speciale. Those are comparable to the Scud. The standard models are far more common and more for touring than a challenging drive!
THEY. ARE NOW MORE THAN 300000 FOR A GOOD NICE CLEAN ONE..SPIDER. I NEVER FOUND ONE FOR 200000. AND I TRIED A LOT..MINE COST ME 340.000 IS. A DREAM MACHINE. TNKS. SUPER NICE REVIEW
If I remember correctly the engine has timing belts, correct? I think that was what put me off the early V8s......when they went to timing chains and did some things to reduce maintenance, that was when I actually considered them
“Not wife approved”?! My wife is not interested in cars and doesn’t really care for any of my other sports cars. When I bought the Scud over a year ago she literally was begging me to bend her over on it. I would call that wife approved. Also, you need to shift at redline (8500) when the wheel shows five dots. You are shifting early every time under full acceleration. Oh, and this is a track day special. I am interested in road noise in my daily drivers. Taking it on the freeway and commenting on the fact that you can hear drone and the cars engines next to you is on purpose. Significant weight was taken out of this car to prioritize performance. You should compare this car to the challenge stradale or the 458 Speciale.
A fabulous car from all aspects imho. Great video!
Zent thank you for sharing that is one of my favs in that time when they came out! so nice to see it again.
Any Ferrari Scud is where you need to be...its hard to even compare to standard models.

Official, it is called “430 Scuderia”, not “F430 Scuderia”. Why is there no F? Must be “no Fxxx giving”
Digging the epilepsy intro.

This 430 has timing chains.
@@ZentRose ok, thanks for clearing that up.
It's a 430 Scuderia, not F430!
You, my friend, have the same handle on RUclips that I have on the back of my Scud! Love it.

Scu-de-Reeee-a
You pronounce Scuderia incorrectly. It's Skoo-der-ria.
It's not F430, it's 430, and "scoo-deh-RI-a" not "scoo-DER-ia"
But good stuff otherwise mate.
It's not pronounced Scu-deria. It's pronounced Scu-der-ia
