Fun fact: This car ran an almost equal time around the Ferrari test track as the Ferrari Enzo. A car with over 150 more horsepower. That's really a testament to just how well the 430 Scuderia handles.
This is wrong. Tire industry is moving crazy fast, Enzo was developed in the late 90s, with tires that were already mediocre by 2009 standards. Put both cars on equal compound and we'll see. My money is on the Enzo.
Drove often the Scuderia and was a couple of times passenger in the Enzo. The Scuderia has beyond the weight two big advantages: the gearbox felt almost slow in the Enzo (around 150ms against 60ms) and the Enzo had Bridgestone tyres what weren't that grippy. But the V12 sound though...

This was the first car that I had the chance to experience, when I started my MT program at Ferrari's exclusive Türkiye dealership. What an amazing car...
These aged remarkably well, much better than the standard F430 or even the 360 CS. Also one of the greatest sounding Ferraris ever made, in my opinion.
A company converted a few of the 430 Scuderia to manual transmission by removing the electroactuation. I would love to drive that version or perhaps just see a Doug review of it
The 430 is a modern classic in my eyes. This era of Ferrari was brilliant, coming off the heels of the Enzo and the Schumacher era this car was one that so many people in my generation saw as THE production ferrari growing up
Recently rode in my buddy’s 430 Scud. I was actually a bit surprised as to the shifting with F1 Superfast. It’s not as fast as I thought I would be. My buddy drives in Race mode. It doesn’t feel too different than my F430 Race mode and the Scud seems slower shifting than when I turn the CST off. I’ve watched many vids of the 430 Scud and I’m convinced that many turn the CST off also to experience the 60 Ms shift. His car is further lowered and mine is lowered as well. I also have after market wheels and I have wider front wheels and tires. I also have a light weight battery. He aggressively took the Scud around a turn and accelerated onto the fwy. Was impressed. The carbon seats are a bit uncomfortable. Car sounds great at idle and all through the rpm’s. Not overly bearing loud. He has after market headers. I believe Tubi. I still love my F430 though. I’ve driven a 458 also. The shifts are indeed smoother and the car just more refined. Also drove a 360 CS. Maybe drive back in 2012 or so. It still felt dated and rattled more and was significantly slower. Rattled a lot more from what I recall. Raced the 360 CS. It wasn’t close. The F430 has a lot more torque and just much faster. The 458 is of course faster than the F430 but didn’t feel too much faster. Iced raced 458 and 458 Speciale too. The owner though tends to short shift. I did race another 458 with a modified exhaust and he was pulling away fairly easy. All great cars.
I know you've reviewed the NA and ND, but I think you should review the NC Miata. It's a really interesting car, and people argue that it's better than the S2000.

Hey, Lets talk "Something Huge For You"
The 430 Scuderia is one of my favorite Ferraris only second to the Testarossa. That engine sound is so perfect.
The 430 makes the 360 feel like a pimple on Ferrari generations.
And the Scuderia edition is like a cherry on top of an awesome awesome car.
I melt every time I hear the 430 Scud. I have had the pleasure of hearing one in real life, only car sound I would put above it is the LFA.
5:30 the sweetest part of the video
Love seeing Doug review older cars. This car is amazing!
Doug's reaction at 15:39 sums it all up. The 430 sounds amazing!
I’ve seen Doug content since late 2014, just a few times I’ve heard in his videos a sound as beautiful and pretty as this exhaust
My favourite Ferrari.. so glad I got to take one around the track in Vegas.. a raw experience to remember 😎
The only Ferrari I would ever buy! 🙂
(Waited for a review like this for years - Thanks Douglas)

That exhaust sound is so sweet, I can fall asleep to it.
I drove one in Modena, Italy - one of the best, fun cars I've spent time in. Loved it
Their is so much tension and coiled energy in the exhaust note and I love it
Ever since tavarish said the factory panel gaps on these are terrible I have tried to prove him wrong but have failed. He's absolutely right
This was the first car that I had the chance to experience, when I started my MT program at Ferrari's exclusive Türkiye dealership. What an amazing car...
Had one and it spent more time in the shop than anywhere else.. Great when they work so enjoy when they do because it's short-lived.
These aged remarkably well, much better than the standard F430 or even the 360 CS. Also one of the greatest sounding Ferraris ever made, in my opinion.
when i saw the miniature of the video i tought it was one of the old doug's ferrari videos from back in the day , 😂😂
Please bring back the longer dougscore segment, I dont understand why you shortened it down so much especially for 20 minute videos
I know that the LaFerrari, Pista, and 458 exists but THIS is my favorite Ferrari
A company converted a few of the 430 Scuderia to manual transmission by removing the electroactuation. I would love to drive that version or perhaps just see a Doug review of it
The 430 is a modern classic in my eyes. This era of Ferrari was brilliant, coming off the heels of the Enzo and the Schumacher era this car was one that so many people in my generation saw as THE production ferrari growing up
11:41 TIL in 2009, Texas Instruments graphing calculators weren't the only place you could still find 1mm pixels in a display
The dome light on the 430 Scuderia can be found on early 2000's Peugeot cars
You should go back and review some cars that you did in the past since you have changed your format because i LOVE THIS
