Thanks for posting. I’m looking at videos on RUclips having looked at one yesterday. Very impressed. My wife would be the main driver and can charge at work for free. Virtually free fuel makes the finance options way better than buying a standard golf.

Nice video. Subscribed. Can't decide between a model 3 and an id3. Getting one of them in within the next few months.
If you are choosing id3 Business or Max! for that price, you should differently choose tesla Model 3. Nothing is like Telsa in terms of driving experience and quality build.

for your own safety dont be adjusting setting while your driving
indeed : 6 miles in total on the screen and fully distracted whilst playing with the settings on the screen (in a rural area). Not safe at all... As for the car : very nice, good choice !

I am in Ireland, we were able to get the base 1st which is similar seats etc to yours. Only difference I could see is you get a sliding cover for the central storage area. Hope aftermarket ones will be available here at a later stage..
I have about 3K km already (2 months). Love the car, finding non motorway WLTP achievable. And so refined..

@@davidodoherty349 I sold my one 3 weeks ago, bought a Tesla Model 3. ID.3 a great car, but tech etc much better with Tesla. ID.3 cost me almost zero for 27K kms and no problems. loved it..!
@@eagerv Oohh! Niice!! I hope you're enjoying the Tesla! I may end up following your lead down the line! The ID3 Life I'm looking at has about 24k kms on the clock and is costing €35k. You think there's value in that? Second-hand BEV market is kinda slim pickings at the moment.

Interesting vid. We pick up our new ID3 Life Pro Performance (with alloys though as those wheel trims are awful) next week.
We are getting it because of the fuel cost savings, I don't buy the green credentials if I'm honest.
Hi Alex, I have my Media( music) files on a USB stick. I know the ID.3 has USB -c type so i will need an adapter to plug in my USB, but will the music files play through any of the USB slots in the vehicle. On my previous car there were 3 USB slots but only 1 would allow playback of the media files. Thanks for your help.

Does heat pump in id3 make much difference to not ? Was shocked at price option of heat pump !
@@nickieredshaw7835 no idea, ours has the heat pump and it's super inefficient in winter, we also have an egolf which is much more efficient
@@nickieredshaw7835 nothing major in winter when you tend to have heating on more the heat pump uses less of the cars range basically but if you do not drive far then don't bother with it as the range you lose from a non heat pump is negligible unless you drive far
I ordered life pro but still feeling disappointed for not having it with IQ matrix headlights.
Does the audio emitter only play when you are going 18mph and under like some other EV cars?

Must be life or city. As the family and Business come with IQ matrix LED headlights as standard.

Hi, can you tell me if you can fold in the wing mirrors whilst in the car. I know they power fold when locking, but I need them to fold in when driving into my garage.
Yes you can! The same as other cars that have got the power folding, it's an option on the wing mirror knob :)

Impressively quiet ...... which model have you gone for? I think I spotted a 'Pro' badge on front wing early in the video but reckon this is just referring to the battery size of 58kW. Is this right? I couldn't work out if it was the Life or Business, ........ or any of the other variants that are available.
It looks to have a very smart looking interior, a bit more restrained than the usual black, white and orange interiors on most of the 1st model review videos I've seen.
Really hope you enjoy your new car and can't wait to get a test drive in an ID.3 myself as soon as we're out of lockdown and the showrooms are fully open again.
Yea we went for the Life. The other models had some cool features, but actually the Life comes with so much that we were happy with just the base model in the UK!

@@EVDriver what’s the difference to like business and family? As can’t find out for sure ? The life is good value and looks to have all that you would need . The rest of the range gets good bit more money for not a lot of value I can see ! Thanks safe travels and happy holidays
@@nickieredshaw7835 other models add things like matrix LEDs, tinted rear windows, fancier rear lights. 20 more interior Led colours, dual climate zones... Basically not a massive amount more in terms of spec but adds quite a bit more on price.

I pick mine up tomorrow. Ordered 19 days ago. I got a great deal off a car buying site. Life model, Makena Turquoise with 19" Andoya wheels.

White is better than primer grey 👍
No matter what you drive , diesel, petrol or electric , in the end it will cost all the same amount of money because: Companies need to make profit, the government needs to have income ( tax ....) .
See I love the grey because it's not a grey I have seen before. Usually white is the free colour with most cars tbh this car looks good in white though. Some look kinda cheap

White is nice but a nightmare to keep clean in that lovely UK weather. These aren't available in AU because the price makes them unaffordable aa our government doesn't use other people's taxes to subsidise wealthy people's toys.
You were clearly not paying attention to driving , adjusting settings and making video is not more important than the safety of other people on the road, or indeed the law. If you are in any doubt, why not go into you local police station, show them this video, and ask if you have committed any offences? It would make an interesting new episode.
Please please please pay attention to the road when you are driving. It was making me stressed watching you. I am looking to buy an ID.3 so I found the video informative but I would prefer for you to have parked the car and then gone through the information. Or you could have got your partner to faff around with the info system while you were driving.
Drive the system dam' car and stop effing around with the infotainment; you're obviously unfamiliar with the car - wait until you get home... This causes accidents, check with your local motor transport authorities if you doubt it.
So why did tesla use its own tesla plug in america 🇺🇸 and not allow other EV s to use his charging hubs. Euro teslas where built right and have CCS . Damage is already done reason everyone hates tesla. Euros and american EV drivers all hate teslas and will never buy one. We would way rather have the Porsche EV that is quality and fast any day over a ugly tesla that looks like a wannabe mercedes fast but NO quality
The tesla roadster is the only one that looks good but you never see them only all the ugly ones.💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
