- Welcome back to part 3 of this epic series on Educa’s Wildlife puzzle! In this video I complete my first double section of this puzzle - sections 2 and 3, kicking things off with the plethora of tiny pink and red flowers at the top, then working my way through the beautiful waterfalls and finishing finally with those dreaded green pieces!
I really hope you enjoy as I put together the rest of these two sections and then show you what almost one third of a 33,600 piece puzzle looks like, when I put these sections together with section 1 - so stay tuned until the very end for that too!

I prefer single sections. When you did the Disney Orchestra puzzle I watched each section numerous times for tips and encouragement. I would like to do this puzzles but I know I can never do two sections at a time. And most important of all it’s sooooo hard to wait months for the next video! I’m addicted😂😂

No probs! Thanks for your feedback, I think a single section is the majority vote, and I’m totally open to it - there are definite advantages to both, but a single section would be easier on me logistically and probably physically too!

This puzzle is indeed gorgeous! I can understand how physical it is, it's hugeeee. With that in mind, I would say to work on a single section next. More videos for us and less aching for you haha. Also the sorting must be terrible for two sections 😂. Either way, I'll be watching ❤️
Whenever anyone mentions sorting double sections I definitely flinch! 😆

What a beautiful puzzle it looks so nice coming together. In answer to your question, now that you've shown you *can* do two sections at a time (Wow!), I'd personally prefer single sections only because that means we'd get to watch your puzzle videos more often. 🙃

I agree, you want to enjoy this beautiful puzzle, Just do one section at a time. You spent a lot of money and time for this, take the time to enjoy putting it together.

Here´s an idea. Righ after the puzzle is done, take it apart, combine all the pieces and do the puzzle again but backwards. That is, just using the pieces from behind/the cardboard part. ;)

I think you have completed the challenge of 2 bags, so call it good. Single bags won't be so mentally exhausting for you. The puzzle looks beautiful and I'm sure even more so in person.
I agree - it can be a bit exhausting! And yes, the two bag challenge is complete so you may be right on a single section next; most people seem to be voting in that direction as well 😍

Beautiful puzzle. I would vote for single sections, just because I would like to see a video more often. Also, you can enjoy the puzzling more on a smaller scale. Well done so far. 😊

I must admit, the prospect of sorting 3k+ pieces over 6k+ pieces is far more tempting! 😆
Go for double, it would be amazing to see it half way done. Really enjoyed watching you do 2&3 together, but do what you’re comfortable doing. If 2 bags is exhausting then do a single and maybe do another double further along. Loving this puzzle!!!
That’s a good idea to do another double further in! I don’t know if I want to do 7 more single sections, but then again I’m not sure if I want to go straight into another double right now. It is quite tiring and logistically challenging I must admit.
Having said that, you are only the fifth person to state a preference for a double section and I really do appreciate that - it really felt good to do it and I am glad that you enjoyed it.

I would do that! But i’d be back to using loads of pieces of foam board, three sections definitely wouldn’t fit on my big board! Would probably take me about half a year to put together 10k pieces of Wildlife as well 😅 I do like your thinking though!

I think single sections are better, cause it means we don't have to wait as long for the video, you don't have to spend that much time at once on the same puzzle and can do other jigsaws in the meanwhile + all the logistics, and you just don't have to torture yourself with such higher difficulty level :)

I think you've done amazingly well with this one. Beautiful puzzle. I just bought it and well, I will again use your tips and tricks for sorting and beginning work on it. Possibly I won't do this one next as I also bought the 24000 piece Life one - okay I am nuts. What can I say? Whichever one I start I will need to work on four foam boards taped together on the dining table and overhanging and perhaps use another board so I can sit comfortably on the sofa with the board on the ottoman and work some of the sections then move them to the table. Decisions, decisions. But I love doing the puzzles.
As always I enjoyed your videos as you built each section and explained everything about the bag numbering, puzzle pieces etc.
My preference is for you to do single sections so we can enjoy more regular updates.

As much as I love to see you working on massive puzzles, I think there's a good case for doing one section at a time for practical reasons. It must be a lot easier for you to film as well.

Funnily enough, I recorded the intro for the Pokémon puzzle a week or two ago. I need to get started sorting it - it will be the next large puzzle that I do - I’m going to build it with my children - we can’t wait! 😍

Very beautiful and wonderful editting. My dream puzzle is 42000 Around the World. But at the moment I have no space where to solve it. Waiting for the day when I will lay hands on it though... I also love Mickey Mouse one, which I see you've done it.
Thank you so much! I like that one too, but I think the Wildlife is enough for me just now 😍. Around the World is a bit tougher to manage because the sections are 6k pieces, which is very big! I have done the Disney Orchestra, and also the Disney Museum - I do love me a good Disney puzzle 😃

No not yet. I’m doing a few smaller ones first, and I have a 5k I want to do, but after that…I can’t wait to dive back into it 😍
I got this puzzle a while back. And started bag 10 because educa bag system is a joke. And I’ve been working on this section since the begin of October and have about half done. Well done on having the guts to do two sections at once!!

Never had it before! Done the astrlogic 9000, the Paris 18000 and Sealife 24000 pieces. And several small puzzles. Since corona.
All three of those puzzles are amazing! Did you have the same problem as the Wildlife with the Life 24k? It’s so unfortunate that Educa let themselves down a bit with their pieces - otherwise their puzzles are spectacular!

@Vicky Makes And Builds When I had it fully built I lay it all on the floor and just stared at it for 10 minutes. Stepping back to the point where the piece cut blends and it looks like a painted mural. So amazing

It's great when you see all your floaty bits start to pull together as more of the jigsaw is done. I think you would be better off doing one section at a time. That way it would be less intensive in terms of sorting and doing the puzzle and won't take up quite so much room. Look forward to the next section which will probably be next year. Have a good Christmas.

I would love to see a double section; but seeing the sections, I think a single one would be much easier. there is so much water en foggy background trees , a double would be difficult

Very well done so far. What surface are you doing the puzzle on? This is my dream puzzle as well. Disney Orchestra was already a huge challenge!
Thank you so much! When I first start, I just work the growing sections on my white puzzle table. Then when it becomes too big for that, I move it all to my large piece of MDF board, which I just rest on my puzzle table top.
Disney Orchestra really was a challenge, and my first giant puzzle! But I loved every minute, and I am loving every minute of this one too! There is just something about these giant puzzles - I think I am becoming addicted! 😆
I have a question. Do you glue and frame all of your giant puzzles? I like to try building giant puzzles too someday
Hi! No, I tape them. I currently have them stored away, but there are a couple that I would love to wall mount and just haven’t gotten around to it yet 😍

How do you tape the bottom of the mini sections to save them

Another commenter has asked me to show at the end of the next section how I tape the sections together. I will definitely do that, but in brief I separate the sections into smaller rectangles. I think each one makes 8 rectangles (that’s how I did it at least, but you can actually make them whatever size you want). Then I put the small sections between two pieces of foam board and flip them over. Then I use strips of blue painter’s tape across the back to tape them.
Hope that helps, but look out for that in the next section video of this puzzle! 😃

I would vote single section next. The two don't seem to have much overlap from the image you showed. And I think your body could use the break. Section 5 particularly seems like it could be a puzzle on it's own.
They are definitely all challenges on their own! I am particularly looking forward to that Orang Utan in section 5, but you may be right about giving my body a break for the next video. It’s certainly hard work navigating that huge puzzle board! 😆

I understand your love for giant puzzles, but, it's sad that because of it, you seldom make new videos 🙁Finishing a giant puzzle can take months... I miss shorter videos on your channel, like those up to 30 min. Perhaps you would consider doing a smaller puzzle in between working on a large section of a giant puzzle? I'm curious about other puzzles that you have... And, in general, I miss your videos. Apart from that, you're really amazing. The biggest puzzle I've done is 6000 pieces. I like such puzzles but I do tend to get bored if I work on one puzzle for more than 2 weeks... So, I'm amazed with your perseverance ☺

I understand what you are saying, and while the large puzzles do take up a lot of time and space; with this particular double section and this particular puzzle - I have ended up starting it at a time when there is a lot going on at home - I just recently started a new job, so it’s not completely the reason for the slowness of uploads!
It will take some adjustment, but I’ll try my best to keep the puzzle videos coming on a weekly basis, and I definitely have a lot of smaller puzzles up my sleeve as well 😍
I am actually really glad that you love those ones too, because I also love building them and making those videos, as much as I love the giant ones in truth (there is just something so addictive about the large puzzles! 😆)

Single section. More videos of the puzzle, and a bit shorter videoes as a result as well. And now that you have completed the challenge of mixing two bags why repeat it, as it will just require more sorting (the boring part for you as well I think, I at least find the sorting bit the most boring) than a single section.
