Thank you for the information on wooden puzzles! I found a liberty puzzle at the thrift store for 3 dollars. SEALED. I couldn’t believe it. It was about 250 pieces. It was Alice and Wonderland. Loved it. Fireworks! 💥
@@krystalcotriss I’ve only ever seen them in Hello Fish Puzzles. But I did google for them once and it seems like they exist in the crafting world too. -Yvonne.
I don't think I have ever solved a wooden puzzle, nor really seen one,. How exciting to watch this, almost like Fireworks on July 4th! Thank you for sharing!
This was fascinating. I don’t have enough space for the puzzles I already have and I feel like you’ve just opened up a new obsession! Lovely fireworks puzzle
I’ve never done any wooden puzzles only cardboard puzzles & wooden brain teasers. But now I know where to start. Thank you for taking the time putting all the example puzzles together to be able to display all the interesting piece cuts. Enjoy the upcoming ‘fireworks’ on July 4th!
Thanks to this video I’ve put “Not Easily Phased” on my wishlist for the puzzle club, and have so many more puzzle markers on my radar! Popping off like fireworks, cheers!
I want more “Jim from The Office” looks at the camera from Yvonne. “It’s called The Four Seasons. 😐” 😂 This episode is packed with so much great info and beautiful puzzles! Also I love your sparkly whinny intro noise. Can’t wait to wooden puzzle with you both NEXT WEEK!! 🤗🤗🦄🦄
LOL, I left that in there on purpose, cause I didn't realized I did it, but when I saw it in the edit I cracked up. Thanks for watching EB! And can't wait to puzzle with you sooopoonn!!!! - Yvonne
I really enjoy Dowdle’s little 250 piece wooden puzzles! I find the art style and scenes very charming and a perfect little size for a quick single sitting puzzle. I enjoy the packaging too, they are pretty unique all around.
The cuts are just normal grid cuts, so not really interesting in that sense, but I still enjoy the feeling of the little wooden pieces and the way they slip into place perfectly without having to press them into each other like with cardboard pieces. I also kinda like the smell of the wooden pieces 😅
Great intro! I still have not tried a wooden puzzle, but recently tried the acrylic plastic ones and those are challenging and fun. New puzzle addict here. By the way, your puzzling surface is beautiful. Would love to try one out, so FIREWORKS! 😁
One of our favorite puzzle brands only makes plastic puzzles, and the colors on them are so brilliant and bright! They also snap together very tightly. It's quite a different experience from wooden puzzles, but a fun one all the same. Our main puzzling surface is a puzzle board made by Zakco www.etsy.com/shop/ZAKCOpuzzleboards Thank you for watching!
I have one Wentworth Puzzle I purchased at a garage sale. I can't find where I put it but it is Movie Posters. It was fun to do. I would love to try the FIREWORKS puzzle!
Wow, I had no idea wooden puzzles had so many different cuts. You’ve opened my eyes to a whole new world of puzzles. I can’t wait to explore. Happy 4th of July! I hope you enjoy the fireworks!
We hope you find some wooden puzzles that you enjoy, now that you know more about them! Happy 4th of July to you too, and thank you for watching our videos!
Fireworks! Loved this video about wooden puzzles. Especially since you mentioned Chestnut and Hemlock. The artist makes excellent wooden puzzles. I might be a little prejudiced because I'm her mother.🤣 Truly do love wooden puzzles and your informative videos .
Great review of so many wooden puzzle brands - many of which I have never heard of. I was at a fireworks show last night in celebration of Canada Day (which is July 1st), so Tammys nail polish was very on theme! I have not tried a wooden puzzle yet but Puzzle Lab and Pacifica are local to me and Stumpcraft is also Canadian. I really loved the puzzle that had the oriental themed cut - would have loved to see the picture on the other side.
Happy Canada Day! Apologies for not showing the image in the video, here it is: libertypuzzles.com/products/delicate-beings-puzzle Thank you so much for watching!
I just discovered wooden puzzles during a recent trip to Boulder where I bought my first Liberty. I didn’t think I would like it because of the shapes, but ended up thoroughly enjoying it. I also love the smell of the wood. I’ve since added a Wentworth and will look for some of the brands you highlighted. Happy 4th; enjoy the fireworks!
Thank you both for this informative video. I have been fortunate to find several factory sealed wooden puzzles at thrift shops! It's like "fireworks" when that happens! 🎆 I have already passed some along as traveling puzzles. Thanks! Susie
Thank you so much! Hopefully some of the types we showcased might help you figure out what your family would like! Also feel free to ask any more specific questions you might have. Thank you for watching!
When you tipped out the pieces and starting grabbing each other's pieces, it was fireworks 🎇😅 I've done the Ravensburger wooden puzzle that you showed and it was a lot more tricky than expected. Previously I only owned Q wooden puzzles because I had seen them advertised on Facebook for a really cheap price. Once I heard that they had used unlicensed art I decided I would not purchase any more or support their brand. I don't know any of the other brands you mentioned. Probably they aren't as widely available in Europe. However I've heard of Wentworth because they're popular on Instagram 😊
We're just chaos together! 🤣 Many of the companies we mentioned are fairly small, so it's quite possible they are not easy to find in Europe. Maybe that will change as time goes by!
Thanks for the tip to do a push together on a non-slip surface. I was struggling! Hope you see some awesome fireworks on the 4th! Thanks for the giveaways!
Thanks for the review. I did not realize there were so many wooden puzzle brands. I am also looking forward to Puzzle Parley in a few weeks. Enjoy the fireworks tomorrow.
In France we have a brand called Puzzle Michèle Wilson. They made hand cut wooden puzzles since 1975. It's expensive but I really like them, I have several ones in my collection. EDIT : I saw in the video that you are mentioning them 😂
All the Puzzle Michèle Wilson puzzles I've done are very beautiful! I love watching their videos showing how they stack cut the puzzles, and next time I'm in Paris, I plan on visiting their shop! Thanks for watching! -- Tammy
Well, considering I just found out I won round one, it would probably be suss if I won two in a row 😂… but, what the heck, I love Americana puzzles and I’m turning six five on the fourth so…FIREWORKS!! 👏🎉🧙♀️ 🧩💥

Pro tip if you don't have a sticky pen: add a bit of poster tack onto a chop stick. Great intro to wooden puzzles!
