It surprised me how much better busy images (like the 50s puzzle) get on 1000 pieces compared to 500 pieces. I guess they miss one key difficulty: a large block of the same color. The flamingos look much more simple at first glance, but they have a lot of the same texture and color going on. On 500 pieces, I would guess there would be almost no difference between them, because sorting all these separate small sections is less of a help if they are only 3-10 pieces each.
It’s not about times, it’s about trying to pick which puzzle would be easier. But also this is just for our team, other teams might do other puzzles faster.

It also surprised me (Yvonne) as well but it could also be that our team does better with busy puzzles. 🤷🏻♀️
My picks were Colors, Canadian, Ball Games, Horses, Wolves, Flamingos, 50s, and Photo… lol
