Watching your painting is great " recovery time" after a long, tiring weekend participating in a Christmas Art Sale. I'm getting too old for that heavy lifting! We kept our expectations small and made just enough sales to get 4 new tires on our car. Now to sort and prepare for a mini sale Dec. 3, not nearly as much work and I don't have to be present.😊 Your painting is lovely, I love farm scenes! Hope you feel better now.

Your videos are welcome sight every time. I feel like a giant in asian countries. I'm currently almost 5'3" also. Clothing that fits is a major challenge. I don't have a bamboo pen but get great straight marks with the edge of a credit card. 😊

It’s very distracting, sounds like sweeping, cleaning, and barking, during the cardinal painting video. I like your comments and music, so I hesitate to turn off the sound. But the extra noise is irritating. I know you’re very focused on your art so you probably tune out all the background noise. Love your work. Thanks.
Thanks for the tip! Sorry it’s annoying - sometimes life gets in the way. The noise you think is sweeping is birds on the roof. The noise you think is cleaning is possibly also animals outside - certainly no cleaning takes place while I’m recording! There is often quite a lot of noise from rain or wind as our studio is metal roofed and not soundproof. The occasional bark I can’t do anything about - we live in a rural community where dogs outside sometimes bark which causes our rescued dog to reply from time to time. He has to live in the studio with me because he might chase the chickens outside if he isn’t watched. Another thing that used to cause background noise is the movement of my arm on the paper. Most of these things have been corrected now as we have better equipment. Also, some people’s devices make these background sounds louder than others. Just thought you’d like an explanation of the background noise. You might also find much less of it on the more recent videos. This long one is a compilation of work done over the past couple of years and as we have gained experience in the technical process things like background noise are less of a problem. The back ground noise plus music makes it impossible for me to concentrate ! After having 2 strokes my brain can't sort out it out & quickly gives me an intense headache! One reason I subscribed & joined your channel was the fact you announced that you had discontinued music! I'm at a crossroads I'm 😢😢. So discouraging!
Please don't worry! These long videos are all compilations of OLD tutorials (with music). We will be doing compilations without music too, as soon as time allows. All of our NEW tutorials will continue to be without music.

How do you like the Arches paper? I like it but no more than B aohong or Meeden. But I haven't been painting long so enjoy learning from you.
I prefer Meeden to Arches. And Baohong is the same as Meeden with a different label!
