    I really like the balance of talking about the puzzle and the strategy etc and the timelapses you pull off in your videos. Looking at a lot of puzzletubers, that's not an easy balance to achieve.

    • @Vickymakesandbuilds

      Thank you so much! Honestly I have been working on that balance, so it’s great to hear that you like that. Thank you for watching! 😍

    Lovely video! ❤️ I really don't understand where you get all that willpower to NOT put all the pieces in place right away but you show them to us as close ups instead! Highly appreciated, thank you! ❤️🙂

      I’m so glad you like the close ups! Honestly, you are right - it is hard not to just put them in, although I am itching to, I make myself wait and then film it separately. I am always pleased with the final effect though! 😃 Thanks so much for watching!

    Loved this section! Smart of you to build half of it side by side. You’re nearly halfway there! It looks so great laid out all together. 💜🧩

    • @Vickymakesandbuilds
      @Vickymakesandbuilds  Год назад +1

      Me too! It was so great to build, nice and smooth, no real frustrating parts to it, which was nice! I like to do it side by side that way because trying to film a portrait oriented puzzle just looks a little odd, I prefer to do it landscape if I can. I did have to do it sideways when I mixed two bags, which was fine, but it perhaps a little odd to watch coming together! 😆
      I was so pleased with how it’s looking so far - it’s so big already!

    Yay! Seeing your return to this puzzle made me smile. I really like the open design of this part of the illustration--I think section four is my favorite so far. Probably because fewer foreground trees and vines show off the animals better. Thirty-two (-ish) hours does seem fast for such a large puzzle: nicely done! Happy puzzling! 🧩

      I’m so glad it made you smile 😃. This section really made me smile too! It was my favourite so far as well, there just aren’t any sections that really took over the whole build experience, which made it more engrossing and fun. Only the water really slowed me down, so it did feel like it came together quickly 😊. Thanks so much for watching and happy puzzling to you too!

    Thank you for sharing your progress on the puzzel, im really enjoying it, i just started the 2nd part of this puzzel today and found out how to easy reconnecting two pieces that don’t belong together without damaging the pieces. Just pick up the pieces, push them together and gently twist. It took me the whole first section of the puzzel to find out wiggeling and pulling is the worst idea😅

    • @Vickymakesandbuilds

      Oh, thank you so much for that advice! I’ll give it a try, I have damaged a few pieces because of that - it’s really unfortunate ☹️. I’m so glad you are enjoying the puzzle - thanks so much for watching!

    I’ve recently done the Educa 42,000 Around the World puzzle. When I was sorting each section, I separated the seam pieces from the rest so I could divide each section into six areas; making it easier to do the rest of the puzzle.

    Hello... Nice to meet you, Today the puzzle of 33,600 pieces arrived, I was watching your videos, you are very intelligent, I think I am going to do something very reckless, I will mix all the bags and that is how I hope to finish it, the time will be much longer ..
    Regards.

      Hi Raul!
      Nice to meet you too! Congrats on getting this awesome puzzle - and thank you for your lovely compliment! Sometimes I question my intelligence when i’m working on a particularly tough puzzle 😆. I applaud you for wanting to mix, it certainly will take a long time, but it is definitely doable, just not something I realistically have the space to do, I don’t think. I would say the toughest part about mixing will be all the green pieces, but if you can sort into different shades and textures, then it should work out in the end 😍. I wish you all the best with it x

      I am really itching to get back to this puzzle now too. It’s been too long, but i’ve had so many other puzzly things to do! Not a bad problem to have, admittedly. I hope to do the next section at the very least before I go to Spain. That is my goal! 😍

  • @robin15092

    Looking very good! I have a question though. I recently did a 3000 puzzle from Educa and when I was done I wanted to store it in the box, so I made some segments. But it was very difficult to lift the segments without breaking. I don't see this happening in your video, from 37:10 onwards. Did you glue them? Or is it just the fitting quality that differs for each puzzle?

    What do you use for your big puzzles? Foam boards? Plywood? Or do you have a huge table?

    • @Vickymakesandbuilds
      @Vickymakesandbuilds  Год назад +1

      Hi, I use a piece of MDF that I had cut to size - it will accommodate 6000 pieces comfortably, and it rests on my puzzle table well - my friend attached some blocks to the bottom to stop it moving around too much on my table surface, I do still use foam boards too - in fact that’s the way I used to do large puzzles before I got my large board. I bought a pack of 10 A1 sized boards, which suited me really well 😊

    Also, once you´re done with this EDUCA puzzle, Will you get another one?

    So funny that, in this case, while you´re putting together a Spanish puzzle the whole painting was done by a British artist.
