Very nice, and very difficult, footwork move! I took one look at this and was tempted to give up and leave this for another day 😂 However, you explain and demonstrate this so well, that I continued watching! I saw elements of West Manhattan, which is one of my favourites, in there, so I'm going to have a go! Thanks for this video which is another opportunity to expand my footwork repertoire. PS I also intend to have a look at Sway Traverse.

Just been watching this excellent video again, in conjunction with the First Move Traverse video. The Sway Traverse is simpler, yes, because you are both going in the same direction, on the same foot, but I don't think it's easier. It's well known that simple/straightforward isn't always easy! I think I'm getting to think that First Move Traverse, although less simple/straightforward than Sway Traverse, is actually more doable and easier!

Trying to learn and remember this super move. Simple mnemonics can help. In this case I see the man rotates on his left foot, to the left to step forward, to the right to reverse ie step back. Also need to remember that the man steps first on his right, and that there are two steps to every count. Hope this helps me, and anyone else who needs help 😂
