This song is legit made for jazz...
I mean, the original song itself was already slow jazz. The kind often seen used for the 'bar' or 'dinner' setting which fit the locale so that's no surprise.

I used to take sax lessons in school as an extra curriculum.
I quit after I finished school but I still own the sax.
I have never played it since and probably forgot a lot of things (even thought I never was that good) but this cover has made me want to learn it again.
I already play the piano and love jazz so much.
I sometimes dream of owning a beachbar playing only jazz music.
I like what you did with that homage there at 6:19 to the end...just a great way to tie the very different aspects of the character together.

I found Live at Grillby's on soundcloud and was impressed to find out it was a single artist. This is incredibly impressive. Your adaptations are very well arranged and this video is nicely edited. It is so infrequent to see a sax player who excels on piano as well. You clearly know what you're doing. Please keep it up; it's enjoyable inspiring to experience such talent.
