It's a beautiful day outside. No really, it is. It's actually pretty nice outside right now. This tune was requested by a ton of you guys! I'd like to thanks HugelDude Mcguy, Dinos24SP, Toasterwaffles, @zoupo12, oti9876, Drekin, teaflower565, and a huge number of you who requested this cover in the comments of my previous Undertale videos. By no means am I done with covering the Undertale soundtrack, but I thought that I'd get this one out to you guys sooner rather than later, since so many of you were asking for it! I myself have not played the genocide run of Undertale... and honestly I don't think I'd be able to make it through! The neutral run tugged at my heartstrings enough... BUT I LOVE SANS. It's kind of a shame that Sans' punny self takes a back seat to the Sans that appears in the genocide fight... I love puns. As you all know. I have a real funny bone. When making this particular cover, I had a particular challenge in mind. I tried to keep this cover as similar to a live band setup as much as possible, with two saxes, rhodes, a bass, and drums. This resulted in a cover with a bit of a different sound compared to most of my other tunes... and I think I like it! It reminds me a lot of Normal Activity, another video game jazz group on RUclips with a similar instrumentation. Check them out if you haven't! That's about it for this one! As always, if you enjoyed the video, tell your friends. It really helps me out. You guys have been so supportive lately, and it makes me insanely happy :D

Such an excelent Jazz piece jeez, who would have ever thought porting this would be even possible, and the ending, omfg. I am happy it was spawned and I will not have this piece you created any other way. I need all your fucking songs put into a vinyl so that I can play it in my dad's phonograph. That would be a dream come true.
+Luciano Castrogiovanni Dude, thank you so much. I'm pretty psyched that there are people out there who can look past the original song a bit, and stand to hear my interpretation! And now that you mention it... i think vinyl might be a cool idea! I've never had the experience of listening to vinyls on a regular basis, are they really that worth it?
insaneintherainmusic I'm not sure if there's really a difference in sound quality (depending of course on the age of the phonograph, older ones add that tiny bit of old crisp to the sound) but I am certain that I have been brought up to appreciate sitting on my grandad's arm chair, placing one of my dad's vinyls and listening through the phonograph. I guess in my case its more of a statement on the quality of the art itself rather than true sound quality. Its like the difference between a painting and a digital painting on a computer. On the computer, the painting along with its beauty is portrayed through a massive system of algorithms and digital data, the computer wouldn't find more of a difference in its data than the different extension and program with which to portray the data stored. It is infinitely reproducible just by performing a copy of the data and the original doesn't stand out from either of the copies made. The painting is more of a royalty, its unique, you can't just click copy on that painting and create thousands of them. Putting your songs on a vinyl at least in my perspective at the moment is like placing a piece of valuable art into a well deserved pedestal in which to flaunt its beauty. Surely there must be different sound qualities involved, but I trust its probably the other way around, digital storage usually fares far better than its analog equivalent, but I digress. I guess its a matter of a bit of tradition, classy-ness, and embellishment of something that is just amazing by itself. Its like the birth medium via which the music of the main Jazz era was distributed outside from the actual live concerts. Its like putting it up there with the classics, like a golden edition. At least to me it is worth it, and if I had finished my studies and started working for my own money already I would buy the hell out of it.
+Luciano Castrogiovanni Mm, that's a pretty unique comparison, I haven't ever really thought about the beauty of the vinyl in that way. Sonically, I've heard that it's supposed to sound "warmer", but some songs aren't exactly meant to have a "warm" sound to then, so perhaps vinyl isn't right for everything :p
insaneintherainmusic Yeah, as much as I appreciate listening to music, I must admit I am not exactly the best versed in the subject. That's why I couldn't really say the sound difference that would take effect in a vinyl. I just love the idea of compiling all your repertoire into a vinyl just because of what they mean to me ya know. I guess a much better analogy would be reading a web comic versus reading said web comic in its book format. Owning the book is just simply something else, just like owning said vinyl would be. Albeit we'd be talking about the best web comic around for the analogy to work if you don't mind me saying. Its probably just my version of it anyways xD
Looking back 5 years later, I really like how similar-yet different songs these are. The jazz cover made it much smoother and less intense than the ost. Really nice
*smoke covers the bar, as a pale man in a blue suit strolls on in, no one dare speak a word, a fiery haired, blue skinned dame sat next to the barman turns away smiling, as if she knew the man, he cocked his trilby and flashed his one blue eye at the barman...* 'Grillby! Two for me and the lady' He slowly sat down next to the woman hew as admiring, as she gave him a familiar look. 'Hey Sans! Long time no see! How's the detective work going!' as Grillby spun the drinks around and juggled them while pouring, Sans took off his hat, and looked at Undyne with weary eyes. 'I'm on a case, a murder...' I wish that people didn't overhype things on the internet so much, so that it didn't sound like I'm just exaggerating when I say that this is absolute perfection. No joke, this is better than any other Megalovania arrangement I've heard. It's amazing how well this piece becomes jazz. You masterfully explored a slower Megalovania in jazz form, looking at all the cool harmonies of the original piece, adding your own flair, but keeping the integrity of the piece true. The little easter eggs of Bonetrousle and Ghost Fight were real gems for anyone who knew what you were referencing. And then you really brought the piece back to its core with the final race to the end. This was amazing. Thanks for this, guys; you have totally earned a subscribe from me . . . and my respect.

+Luciano Castrogiovanni Plus you can hang up a vinyl on your wall and it looks so cool.
oh this unlocks memories of my early teenage
I imagine Sans in a tuxedo, " Your gonna have a jazzy time"
and a fedora
Oooh Schnazzi, keep it up
This is gorgeous. especially like where it all kicks in at 0:59
Days like this kids like you.......should be jamming to smooth grooves
"You can't make a jazz cover of a boss theme"
Carlos Eiene: Hold my beer
Who said that???
That freaking Sax; I love Jazz so much.
I love jazz too... as if you couldn't tell by the whole premise of my channel :p
Looking back 5 years later, I really like how similar-yet different songs these are. The jazz cover made it much smoother and less intense than the ost. Really nice
I don't play sax myself. I'm a trumpet guy. But this makes me want to play sax now.
I play trom *bone* ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+Skeleton Army get out
You can quite easily play the main riff on the trumpet so I recon one would be able to play the saxophone parts on a trumpet.
+Robert Daedric you made me legit lol
I personally smack a surface with a variety of tools tp create noises, or you know a percussionist.
0:15 "You're a vegetable"
There was a comment like that back then I dont know where it is.
It was actually made by the people who made this!
That transition at about 1:04 is supremely smooth and my favorite part of the entire piece.
Aroubd 1:40 it sounds like film noir crime drama with a savvy detective on the case.
Anyone who starts a crime around these parts..
ARE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME.
+The Power Serg 922 (ThePowerSergio) a new AU born, Coptale
'I'm on a case, a murder...'
'A MURDER?! Who's been hurt?!'
The detectives eyes turn black and hollow
'My Partner...Papyrus...'
You're right it really does!

Only 20?
*Pffft. Casual.*
I wish that people didn't overhype things on the internet so much, so that it didn't sound like I'm just exaggerating when I say that this is absolute perfection.
That Jazz Cover That Might Play When You Fight Sans
+Ginotitant Cubing If 3:05 isn't TSTMPWYFS, I don't know what is.
