    Bon Scott is King!
Brian Johnson did something that no other lead singer has been able to do, pick up after the death of a great and take make the band one of the most successful over the next 30yrs. But Bon Scott will always be "proper" AC/DC to me

I think what they are trying to say is he sounds good drunk, which he does. Rock n roll shouldn't be perfect. Most of us 70s rock nuts want to hear the bands at their best and worst. I'll take a drunk, pitchy Bon Scott and AC/DC over a sterilized, over-stuffed performance of...I can't even think of a contemporary rock band to finish the comparison. Rock music is as dead as our Constitution.

On two occasions he was smashed and really obnoxious to just about everybody. Both those times were when he'd just come off stage. it was incredible to see him perform and then see him hardly able to stand up and say a coherent word. I met him on another occasion at a BBQ and he was OK until he'd had a few drinks. To be fair to him I think the drugs and drink part of rock and roll got to him and he wasn't able to pull out of the down spiral.

Haha! I've been looking at this song to sing with my band and listening to the studio version thinking "there's no way someone could do this for a whole set". I thought maybe it was just me, but no. Nobody can sing these songs like the studio version for an entire concert, not even Bon Scott (RIP). These songs are fucking brutal for any vocalist.

Brian and Bon were outstanding. AC/DC got lucky getting Brian after Bon. Somewhat similar style but definitely both had their own way.
