I am 55 years old and I remember having my classmate put this on for me one day over at his house 1979 or 1980 after riding motorcycles. I was absolutely floored and still am to this day. I love watching this when they are so young. Nostalgic! AC/DC might be one of the most important bands to come around in a lifetime. Authentic AF and the true spirit of rock n roll.
My grandad passed away on the 4th of this month. The biggest AC/DC fan there is. I’ve just found out this will be playing at his funeral. We would sit in the sitting room and have this blasting at full volume when I was around 6. I miss you gramps sleep tight 🤍

They had to have a theme for the band in the early year.Story goes ......Angas was never away from his guitar and as soon as he got home from school he would run upstairs slam the door and practiced till his fingers bleed not even taking time to change out of his uniform.So his sister came up with the idea of a school boy costume and even made the costume for him,the rest is history and boy what a band mascot 😈

I was 14 years old. Christmas 1980. At my cousin's house and he played this song very loudly on his new Hitachi ghetto-blaster. I just listened, entranced, staring at the speaker cone pumping in and out. That very moment was the beginning of a life full of music for me. I learned the guitar. I write my own songs now and I've broadened into other styles but this was the moment when I realised music was something magic and that it would never leave me. AC/DC Back in Black was my very first concert when I was 16. I practically had to jump through flaming hoops of fire to buy the tickets and arrange a 200 mile round trip to attend this concert, but there are no regrets. It was an experience that I will remember until my dying day.
