This is what makes a band like AC/DC so amazing No Egos No Bullshit..They never cared for the typical Rock Star lifestyle..very humble down to earth guys.
do you know, that Angus has NEVER done drugs in his life? now watch him on stage and realize, that is ALL him
Brian's a really cool dude.
Brian is the absolute perfect replacement for poor Bon's departure. I grew up with both versions of ACDC. One of the best Rock bands ever. 🤘
Doug not a replacement for Bon, but a singer with a different talent to the former. I listen to Bons recordings and love what he did. Of course the same with Brian. I don't compare them as they both stand alone in their singing and stage presence. My opinion!
"Okay the initials ACDC" " I have said too much " 😂😂
Back in Black definitely one of the all time great rock & roll albums.
Am I the only one that loves his rock voice even when he talks?
Brian Johnson, what a bloody legend. I grew up in Australia in the 70s, ACDC with Bon were awesome, but hell, Brian also had a magical ride with the band and made his contribution unique.
I love listening to Brian tell stories. He really does seem like just a guy next door with whom you'd have a pint and have some great stories.
Brian is truly a 100percent classy dude!!
What a genuine lad. I could sit around all day over a pint listening to his stories.
I'm not a person who's bothered much by celebs. But Brian Johnson is a guy I'd love to meet. 👍👍
He calls himself a "fucking loser" for living at home in 30s...lol humble great guys - all of them.
notice how he mentions Malcom a lot. Angus is the spot light player but Malcom was actually the leader of the band.
What the world needs right now is an AC-DC biopic like Bohemian Rhapsody. I would watch the shit out of it.
Those of you in your 30's still living with your parents... I feel you.
"She used a fast machine.. she kept her carpets clean
She had the best damn vacuum that I've ever seen"
Hes a legend. I love Bon but damn he filled the shoes with his dedication! Ive always wanted to see them live!
He seems like a genuine dude.
I could listen to Brian J do that German accent all day!
Geordie played my grandads wedding and him and Brian Johnson were good friends
I got to see AC/DC in 1980, The Black In Black Tour. It was the best damn concert that I ever seen ! They played at the London Gardens in London Ontario Canada. I was 16. I still have my ticket stub.
I had no idea just how funny Brian is.
Could be the best Rock'n Roll song I've ever heard. That's an understatement. What an interview!!!
As a fellow Geordie, I've never heard someone pronounce it "Gordie" 😂.
Not long ago, I referred to him as "the new guy." My friends started laughing. New guy? It's been 40 years!
I could listen to Brian Johnson tell stories for days!
Back in College, I was working as a Room Service Server at the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix and AC/DC was staying with us while in town for their show. I had to bring an amenity up to Brian's room. Nobody answered the door after I knocked so I had to let myself in. As I'm getting near to the bed I looked down at the corner and one of his trademark caps was there on the bed. Gave me goosebumps. It seems weird maybe, but I thought it was the coolest thing at the time.
Great bloke, no crap, great voice and humour.
Wish Howard Stern would shut up and let the guy talk.
Brian does an excellent “Mal” !!
I love everything about AC/DC
Love, love, love hearing Brian´s stories. You shook me... is one of my favorites.
Geordie's rendition of the "House of the rising sun" is maybe one of the best versions ever done.
They wrote one of the GREATEST albums of all time............. in 6 WEEKS! UFR!
Geordie's 'House of the Rising Sun' was great.
Ya it was
Brian's vocal performance on that song is amazing
and can you do it
That it is. It completely blew me away when I came across it a few months ago.
Agreed 👌
Inspirational. Never to late to sing. As long as you got a voice use it. Be yourself. Lets bring Rock n Roll Back
If you listen to his Geordie stuff, he has fantastic harmonic range. He graveled it down for his new gig in 1980.
Whoever hit a thumbs down on that audition is ignorant!!!
This is called being in the right place at the right time. 😀
I remember watching ACDC back in the 80s in Jackson, Mississippi. They were great. I would have to rate them one of my top 3 bands. High powered music!
6 weeks and created one of the greatest albums of all time.
Such a likeable bloke
Him and Angus are the only rock stars I've met with 0 ego. Scary how fuckin normal they are.
'The best rock an roll song I've ever heard in me life'
Fair call... 😎👍
Back in Black is the best hard rock album of all time.
He does a great Aussie accent!
God bless Brian! He's the man!!
Howard has a way of making people feel comfortable enough to give honest, true insights into their lives & events‼️👍 🇺🇸
I always wanted to hear that.
Hometown hero.
What a voice
What a fantastic story , unreal , he just walks in a replaces Bon Scott the way he did is incredible
He is a class act.
Man he seems like an amazing dude to have a few drinks and talk stuff with 🤟 legend
I was 13 when I started listening to ac dc and it was mind blowing.i liked bon Scott but I absolutely loved brian.im in my 50s now and dam im still in 💕💕
I like Howard, but damn it man! Let the guest speak! He keeps cutting Brian off
No worries mate, it sounds great!
Brian Johnson is a 'kin treasure
Love love this he do down to earth wow great to hear love him 🏴❤️
Legend!
Can’t believe Howard kept talking over him. Then trying to “translate”. “Loaded on one bottle of brown ale?” Gotcha!
wicked wicked story teller, just like the album back in black!
Always thought he was an Aussie, it is so funny hearing a Geordie accent.
In all their history only 2 members of AC/DC were actually born in Australia. Phil Rudd and Mark Evans. All the rest bar Axl were born in the UK.
Just wow! How magical of a story was that?!
I asked my wife one day what would be a good CD with continuous good Rock & Roll , she didn’t hesitate and said AC/DC , she has good taste !
This video is all about Brian and Howard, but the most important thing is ROBIN IS BEAUTIFUL!
Hilarious interview. Love it.
Angus and the rest of the boys are very clever guys, make no mistake. They are model professionals. Thank you lads!
AWESOME dude, AWESOME singer, petrol head too boot. Long live AC/DC!!!! Brain Johnson from Zero to HERO!!!!
Mutt Lange, definitely the man who you want to vouch for you, especially when he has bands like Deff Leppard.
I have said too much lmfao
What a down to earth Rock ⭐️ Star 🌟
Love these stories!!!
He seems like a chill guy.
His laugh was legendary.
And he sounds like Angus too..ahha
Love this Bloke
I really feel like Brian is under looked in AC/DC. As good as he is and as much as I enjoy his playing, I sometimes feel Angus steals the spotlight from Brian
Yes! Frankly, I've always had a problem with the fact Brian has never been on an album cover.
This always happened in all band. Sometimes there's other players that shine more brighter than the frontman. If the vocalist can endure it and keep moving forward, they'll be super successful but if they don't,the band will break later.
They are awesome together and Angus is the best lead guitar player
He does a spot on Malcolm!
The Gordies lol, Howard knows his Rock history then lol.
He doesn’t know crap. He didn’t know how to pronounce it. He was reading research that someone else did.
But clearly he doesn't know his British slang!
Those were awesome stories!
That was so good !!
Best thing to come out of newcastle
Newcastle, England yes.
Dunston, County Durham, not Newcastle ;)
When the interviewer wants to talk more than the guy itself. Really annoying not letting anyone tell the story without interfering every f**kin' 7 words the guy said..geez.
"She had the sightless eyes,
telling me no lies"
I don't know if Bon or Brian wrote that line, but it's classic if you know what it means!
What does it mean
Brian ain't no liar, he wrote every song on that album. He never gets the admiration he deserves for his song writing. All this bullshit that Bon wrote the lyrics is just wrong.
Shut the fuck up with that bull shit conspiracy theory. Brian wrote that song Bon had nothing to do with Back in Black
I heard a rumour some of the lyrics cherry picked from letters Bon Scott wrote to people back home.
They changed the line out of Bon's note book. Bon knew a girl with chartreuse eyes.
Where did the full interview go
I love you brain❤️✊
Shit I’ve said too much !! Once she hung up KGB knocks on the door Lol
I wonder if he would sing nutbush city limits when he is on tour with AC/DC.
His Aussie accent is impeccable
“Mate I could kill this”. So funny
All from Newcastle- rise up and educate the heathen Hovard Smearn.
All time Legend!
Incredible
"I can't tell you but their initials are acdc"
I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't this super nice and humble guy.
That's freakin awesome
Great story
Cleveland! 6 degrees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
_"...fucking loser..."_ haha. Brian Johnson is awesome.
if it's not the best song, it's way up there
