Biggest band in the world for over a decade.. I dare say that suggest a lot of people know how many great hits Queen have. Or is this an American comments section?
It’s also the reason “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor exists. Sylvester Stallone wanted the opening to Rocky 3 to be played with “Another One Bites The Dust”, but Queen’s licensing fee turned out to be too high for the film’s budget. The opening was already filmed, so they went out and got a little known band to write a song that had a similar tune so that it fit with the scenes.
Bro, Queen is one of the most influential iconic groups in music history. I grew up in Trinidad & Tobago (Caribbean) in the 1980s listening mostly to Hip Hop, and even as a kid I remember my dad and uncles oftentimes playing Queen at home on the stereo, in their cars, and hearing their music all over the radio in T&T. And my home country was mostly Calypso/Soca/and Reggae btw. But good music is good music. I feel so lucky being exposed to so many genres of music (pretty much all genres...even those songs and groups well before my time) while growing up back in T&T.
Just so you know, "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" are two different songs, but they combined them for this performance. Both are great songs and if you want, you should probably listen to the full versions of both songs.
I think you must watch queen live aid. They’re part of the concert is about 24 minutes long and your mind will be blown away.🤯🤯🤯 Freddie Mercury the best front man in history queen The whole band and every member is unbelievable. Good luck on your journey loved your reaction.❤️😀👍✌️🌼Love and peace.
Would love to subscribe but I can't hear you. Please adjust your volume or change microphones. I can't be the only one that has to jack up the volume and turn it down when the music starts. If anyone else is having this issue hit like or something to let him know.
I agree... there's probably some compensate settings that you can adjust. I feel like I'm going up on volume to hear you speak, but video over compensates once you start/unpause it.
its is not his mic, because the balance of the video and his mic is perfect, he just have the output turned down. I complain every video and am about to just say enough and stop coming here.
one of my favorite things about people reacting to queen's music is moments like this where they realize they recognize the song and it's like "wait, QUEEN did that???"
I love watching someone discover Queen for the first time, I always wait for the "wait they sing this?" moment when people realize that they have heard Queen before they just don't realize it.
I love it when people get that stunned look on their faces when they hear We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. It's like "This is Queen? I hear this all the time." And a bolt of lightning strikes their brains. 🤯😆
I'm loving your Queen journey. You seemed really unsure on your first reaction but you did pick up on that Queen vibe and seemed surprised that you liked it. Despite being around when all this music came out and loving it I have only recently realized Freddie was one of the best performers ever and I appreciate his vocals even more. These reactions are always fun, watching young people discover bands for the first time and going outside their comfort zone to do it. Keep building Rome and when the Coliseum is finished start having the annual rock festivals.
I love watching people realize that Queen wrote songs they know from just everywhere. One second it's "I never heard of Queen," the next it's "I can sing this song by heart, this was Queen?!?!?!?!"
I was 22 yrs old when Bohemian Rhapsody was released (1975), and instantly began a huge fan. Sadly, I never saw them in concert. The 1981 Montreal concert is legendary...especially for their performance of "Somebody to Love." "Queen's Greatest Hits" is my go-to when I want to be energized...and sing along. And definitely watch the movie," Bohemian Rhapsody," released in 2018.
I hope you are doing your music history studying! I love how such a young man really does his best to get almost every type of music! You are a lovely man!
We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are back to back on album and play as one song, just like they did here live, on the album, it very rare to hear one without the other, other than sports championship celebrations. You should give a listen to their song 'Sheer Heart Attack', rarely seen reacted too and a fast, hard rocker
Can see you love Queen, they are true artists. If you havent already, watch Bohemian Rhapsody movie then listen to Days of Our Lives and Innuendo which were recorded at the end of Freddies life. Amazing movie and songs. Live Aid 85, queen rocked the entire planet and it lifted them to stratospheric levels of fame.
Freddy has a wonderful catalog!!!..if you get a chance to see queen live at live aid you will see how he controls the crowd...he has always been able to have the crown eating out of his hands ( so to speak)
The look on your face when you found out that queen sang we are the champions Is priceless. I have gone back and watched it 5 or 6 times and after this comment I'm gonna go back and watch it another 5 times. We will rock you was specifically written because Freddie wanted a song that got the audience involved. He was very much into Bringing the audience into the performance. If you've already reacted to Their 1985 live aid performance, or if you're going to react to it which I highly recommend, There are 70,000 people in that stadium. Freddie held each in every 1 of them in the palm of his hand. You said If there was A particular group or video that we wanted you to react to then to put it in the comments and the more time do you see it in the comments then the better the chance that you will actually React to it. I'm just going on the basis that you have already reacted to queens bohemian rhapsody official video. If you have it do so now and then watch Pentatonix cover of bohemian rhapsody.
You should watch the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”. It’s a movie about Freddie Mercury and Queen. If you haven’t reacted to the song “Bohemian Rhapsody”, watch it, too.
Certainly not at this point. If the fact that We are the champions was written by Freddie was still news to him, the biopic would put far too many errors and misconceptions into his mind. I'd suggest watching a good documentary or two instead. The biopic is a fun dramatisation with history-changing timelines that don't line up at all. It's okay to watch if you _know_ the real order of things, I guess. But before that... Strong no.
Got to see Queen in the late 80s, Freddy was in his shorts and towel attire and was epic, he gave every ounce of energy he had. He looked healthy, but we knew so little about AIDS then and there were almost no treatments
Those two songs are the first and second track off their "News of the World" album. Because both songs are so short, and have similar themes, radio stations will often play both back-to-back, just as you saw in this concert.
Was a big Queen fan in the late 70's. Saw them about 4 times as a young adult!! So happy I was a fan of this band!! You need to see the movie Bohemian Rhapsody!
The only man on the planet who could go on stage barefoot,no shirt and wearing bootie shorts and nobody bats an eye
I had no idea that the lead singer in a band named Queen was gay.
I, for one, can´t take my eyes off of his ass - that´s the Queen´s ass.
back in those days, that was normal cut size for shorts, not these half pants bs today
That was Freddie.
@@gabsrants He had great one didn't he?
Not only did Queen sing “We Are The Champions” - Freddie *wrote* it. ( Brian wrote the “We Will Rock You” one... both are Sports-Rock staples!)
And John Deacon, the bass player, wrote Another One Bites the Dust, I am sure you will recognize that one
Played at every sporting event, all the way to high school bands , and we will rock you can be done with students and bleacher stomps.
Both We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are original Queen songs.
That face when you realize, that's what I watch for!
Not many people realize how many great songs were written by Queen
All babies in the UK are taught all the lyrics, to everyone of their songs, in the Womb.
DuWayne S so many wonderful ones ! ❤️
"Not many" in this case meaning at least hundreds of millions of fans around the world, I guess, @DuWayne S?
Biggest band in the world for over a decade.. I dare say that suggest a lot of people know how many great hits Queen have. Or is this an American comments section?
Not many people realize some of their songs hidden in albums would have been hits for anyone else.. stormtrooper in stilettos
The single best front man of any era!!!!!
Yeah, Freddie wrote "We are the Champions" in 1977. And Brian May wrote "We wll rock you".
Another one Bites the Dust is another Queen song played at sporting events
It’s also the reason “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor exists.
Sylvester Stallone wanted the opening to Rocky 3 to be played with “Another One Bites The Dust”, but Queen’s licensing fee turned out to be too high for the film’s budget. The opening was already filmed, so they went out and got a little known band to write a song that had a similar tune so that it fit with the scenes.
Lost. Him to soon😫
@@YankeeBlues21 That's a great bit of information. I never knew about that. Thanks.
5:10 The moment your mind explodes when you realize the band you are "first time hearing" is actually a band you have been hearing your ENTIRE LIFE!
Freddie Mercury the best front man for a legendary band R.I.P. my dude you are still the hands down the best.
Bro, Queen is one of the most influential iconic groups in music history. Same here. But at least now I can hear the music video, so props for the improvement.
I agree... there's probably some compensate settings that you can adjust. I feel like I'm going up on volume to hear you speak, but video over compensates once you start/unpause it.
its is not his mic, because the balance of the video and his mic is perfect, he just have the output turned down. I complain every video and am about to just say enough and stop coming here.
Hard to hear him!!! But, can hear video of Queen.
agree. with headphones its better though
Lol that face when he realized Queen made We Are The Champions nice! 😂
React to - Killer Queen, Another One Bites The Dust, Sheer Heart Attack.
They wanted to make a song that the audience can participate in.
I love your reactions to Queen...they were my band growing up and its really nice to see a new generation enjoy Freddie's legacy. thank you
one of my favorite things about people reacting to queen's music is moments like this where they realize they recognize the song and it's like "wait, QUEEN did that???"
I love watching someone discover Queen for the first time, I always wait for the "wait they sing this?" moment when people realize that they have heard Queen before they just don't realize it.
I was lucky enough to see Queen when I was 22 - it was 1982!!!
Polly Nicklas same year for me, but I was 18. So lucky to have seen them. :)
I love it when people get that stunned look on their faces when they hear We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. It's like "This is Queen? I hear this all the time." And a bolt of lightning strikes their brains. 🤯😆
two original queen songs, even neck to neck on the same album
All worth it for the reaction face at 5:09 LOL Oh now I know why I'm here....LOL
Thanks to my brother, This is the music I was brought up to in the '70s and I thank him for that.
THE BEST BAND. EVER. I was lucky enough to see them live in their last concert with Freddie. We had no idea he was becoming sick
I'm loving your Queen journey. You seemed really unsure on your first reaction but you did pick up on that Queen vibe and seemed surprised that you liked it. You urgently need to watch Live Aid 1985. Best concert ever!
Yes. You'll want to hear "ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST" It might be another one you've at sporting events.
Another one for reaction to the whole of Queens set at Live Aid. Music Legend right for your musical delight.
I wondered how long it would take you to recognize it.
I saw Queen back in 1981 but in Hartford Ct.One of the best concert I ever saw!! ❤️❤️
James, I love your positive vibes! Enjoy all the music as we did in the 70's!
I love your reaction every time you realize where a familiar song originated!!
They ended every concert with this song! Love to Brian, Roger and John, Miss U a Lot beloved Freddie RIP
Queen's music is used on more movies and sporting events, and even media than any other band!
We Are The Champions was released 44 YEARS AGO! They wrote it and like everything else, made it legendary!
I loved as a kid hearing we will rock you come on and knew we are the champions would automatically come on right after :)
Freddie was the best front man, no one comes close. No one has ever been able to command a crowd like he does.
Queen is iconic. Please watch ALL of their songs. Whether it is on your channel or privately. They were amazing.
I honestly think that my favourite thing in any Queen reaction video is the "they sing that" moment!
My favorite Queen songs . The guitarist is now a Astronomy scientist now .
That’s the funny thing about Queen, even when you think you don’t know Queen, you really already do.
I love watching people realize that Queen wrote songs they know from just everywhere. One second it's "I never heard of Queen," the next it's "I can sing this song by heart, this was Queen?!?!?!?!"
Check out another one bites the dust, under pressure, you may have heard them
He's done both already.
I’m surprised it took you that long to recognize these songs.... they’re played at every sporting event.... ever
I was 22 yrs old when Bohemian Rhapsody was released (1975), and instantly began a huge fan. Sadly, I never saw them in concert. The amount of hits they had is legendary.
Queen- Dragon Attack, live MOntreal!
Fabulous Queen! And another... Christie Hynd, Pretenders and Hymn to Her... please, it’s AMAZING!
Your face when you realized Queen was the band that made We Are The Champions was PRICELESS!
I was wondering when you were finally going to realize how big of an influence Queen has had in the world!!
You can’t go to ANY sporting event without hearing this song......
So much GREAT music from this fantastic group ... we love you all from LONDON 💖
I hope you are doing your music history studying! I love how such a young man really does his best to get almost every type of music! You are a lovely man!
QUEEN! Thanks for sharing you're thoughts! Much Love!
Love Freddie forever!!!!
I would love to see a reaction to Queen's PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE
You caught Freddie live. He was incomparable
"The show must go on" is tied with Bohemian Rhapsody for their best song
to see them live is unforgetable
Can see you love Queen, they are true artists. If you havent already, watch Bohemian Rhapsody movie then listen to Days of Our Lives and Innuendo which were recorded at the end of Freddies life. Amazing movie and songs. Live Aid 85, queen rocked the entire planet and it lifted them to stratospheric levels of fame.
I was lucky enough to see them live a few times! With Freddie!
React to their entire performance at Live Aid .
It's hard to search so maybe you already did, but the "Someone to Love" from this same concert is extremely good
He lissened already to that , search in his playlist.
Great reaction watching you start to realize who Queen is and how iconic they are.
I will say it warms my heart to see your epiphanies on historical music....keep that up.
Freddy has a wonderful catalog!!!..if you get a chance to see queen live at live aid you will see how he controls the crowd...he has always been able to have the crown eating out of his hands ( so to speak)
There is no bad Queen song ! Queen , the best band ever !❤️. Dragon attack is a great song to react to , but any Queen song would be great !
The look on your face when you found out that queen sang we are the champions Is priceless. Freddy killed it live every single time ...the best
You should watch the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”. It’s a movie about Freddie Mercury and Queen. If you haven’t reacted to the song “Bohemian Rhapsody”, watch it, too.

Patrick Armbruster, good point. It would also expose him to songs he hasn’t reacted to yet.
Its amazing how most people have known queen most of their lives without really knowing them
Another one bites the dust by Queen is incredible!!!
wow! beautiful sweet Freddie!
queen has a song for every occasion.........
I love Freddy's voice. A song that really showcases it is their megahit Who Wants to Live Forever. Every time I hear it, it gives me chills.
Got to see Queen in the late 80s, Freddy was in his shorts and towel attire and was epic, he gave every ounce of energy he had. He looked healthy, but we knew so little about AIDS then and there were almost no treatments
So many of Queen’s songs are played for commercials! Their music is timeless..
Both times I saw them We Will Rock You/ We Re the Champions were the closing songs. It’s a fitting way to end a concert!
Freddie - one of the very few men in history who continues to strut while standing still. Oh, for the day when he is simply an icon, unqualified.
I love your videos even though they make me feel old .....HA! Good music defies generational limits!
When I was a teenager buying albums (vinyl), this is ONE "song", that's why they do it this way!
You've got to watch their performance at Live Aid...
One of ( if not the) GREATEST live performance EVER!!!
I think Freddie took a wrong turn on the way to the swimming pool, and ended up on stage somehow.
Those two songs are the first and second track off their "News of the World" album. Because both songs are so short, and have similar themes, radio stations will often play both back-to-back, just as you saw in this concert.
I LOVE that the video takes up the whole screen, and I only watch Queen reactions, so I'm definately subscribing. 😊
Two of the greatest stadium songs in history of music
Loved your reaction when you realized "we are the champions " by Queen
Queen not only sing “We Are The Champions” they have wrote it mate !!!
Was a big Queen fan in the late 70's. Saw them about 4 times as a young adult!! So happy I was a fan of this band!! You need to see the movie Bohemian Rhapsody!
Your face when you recognized the song! My favorite reaction! Another sports song in the last few years, Check out "I Want it All"
Queen obsessed!!!!
I was thinking that the rock under which you have been living must be huge if you hadn't heard yet "We Will Rock You" 😂😂😂
Oh the innocence, you mean Queen sang this song we sing every sporting event I’ve ever attended? 😀
The best ..They sing this face I've seen yet..
They are the champions of the world! 🤩
Like I told you before...this is what is called Rock Opera!
Hard to rally up anyone more than We Will Rock You. It almost feels like it’s ready to send you out to war, AND YOU’RE GONNA WIN MAN.✊🏼
They wrote this song and We Will,Rock you, my friend...in 1977
