Fantastic car. I'm actually in my 40s and just bought my second one. I had one a few years ago. It's the only car I've bought twice... Says it all👌 Throw around a grand and it and it's a completely different animal. I had it stock for 2 weeks. Since added Revo stage 1 / ITG intake and a Scorpion 3 inch non Res exhaust. It's now how I want it. Loads of burbles and noises. Just really fun to drive and not to 'asbo' to be a daily. Just watch out for the ST modding scene. It's very addictive. One day you buy a £30 short shifter then you'll be googling stage 2 and sports cats 😂
I totally understand what your saying lol. I just bought my 2nd one and I'm in my 40s. It's now Stage 2, with Mongoose 3 inch, intercooler, Itg, short shifter and lower torque mount. Genuinely look forward to every journey in it. The way they can carry the power through corners is unreal.
Loved my fiesta st , best car I have owned. You got a good choice for running cost and speed. I now drive a new audi tt 2ltr petrol and I love it as much as fiesta st
Enjoy mate it's such a fun car to own! I'm getting rid of mine for a Cooper S soon but I've enjoyed every second of driving it. If you're thinking of tuning it get it over to TRS Performance I can't recommend them enough! Had mine mapped on the dyno at ~235BHP with an induction kit and Milltek catback as supporting mods. All the best!
Just don’t cut of the catalytic converter and don’t allow any leaks of fumes from were the engine meets the exhaust manifold……..!!! Take heed my fellow human.
Brilliant little cars mate,so much fun, skip stage 1&2 and go straight in at stage 3,I'm running stage 3,with turbo technics s280 turbo, absolutely transformed the car!!
I do want to eventually get to stage 3 but that’s expensive to do it in one go. So I’m going to progress with it slowly. But yeah I bet the car is completely different
@@JoshBatesYT it is bit pricey must admit ,along with the parts/map etc the service intervals need to be more frequent as well so that's another expense to consider, enjoy the car mate keep us posted with your progress 👍
I’m getting one next year once I’ve finished paying for my Civic have to pay it off first but very early next year I shall have mine. I can’t wait.😢 it’s gonna be special. I know I’m a year behind everyone here but I was thinking of the ST3 fiesta or a golf GTI mark 6 the ST for the same price you’re paying for yours you would get a high mileage 2012 golf it’s a no brainer
As.long as you don't over stress the engine with way too much power, regularly check oil and don't let them run low on oil. Maintenance yearly. Fuel pump cam buckets do wear so best check it if its higher mileage as these can cause rough running if worn badly. Security is the first thing I'd do. Viper 106 immobiliser is one most choose as the first thing with a disklock. Them a good alarm if funds permit. B
@@tracktimevideos5164 everything suffers from oxidisation eventually , British wet soggy climate and lots of salt and grit in winter dude , I've seen lots of Megan's and scenics with rotten chassis and rust on them , not their fault its the climate.

I’m already very addicted 😂😂. What are the crackles like on the over run. Because I want a few crackles but not pops and bangs.

I've got a 1.25 2015 Fiesta Zetec and it is so fun to drive. Doesn't live up to the ST but still a great car
All fiestas drive well to be honest there great cars.

Yeah they are really good value

Love my st3 stage 3 it will kick you in to the seat at stage 3 mine is highly modified
abarth 595 comp is good too , totally underestamated and lots of smiles per gallon. Not the best looking and only has a 5 speeed box but incredible.
I love the sound of them cars
boss car. could’ve got an st for first car car actually but knew insurance renewal would’ve sucked
Yeah Insurance is expensive on these
I’ve got the fiesta st 3 amazing car 😎
Got mine with running stage 1+ and pulls nicely doest ruin the feel plus on county roads every 300 bhp + car cant keep up on bends
Yo Josh I’m buying a car in a few months is it better to get a mk6 or a mk7 fiesta ?
Mk7 is newer but I’ve never been in a mk6 so can’t really give you a fair comparison
Had mine 7 months ecoboom engine are terrible so got a 2.5 focus ST now much better
What yours exploded
@@JoshBatesYT yes sadly :(

Are these quicker than the 2016 corsa vxr?
I think they’re around the same, but a lot more reliable
I’m 54 and adore mine, spent a fortune on it,tasteful mods of course, 😉🍑addicted😎
What do you think insurance at 18 year old will be like?
What’s ur insurance on this?
Just under 2k
@@JoshBatesYT How old are you, of you don't mind me asking?
19
@@JoshBatesYT cheap for your age , i was paying 3k annualy for 1.4 twinport corsa at 18 but that was 12 years ago.
I'm 52 with an ST-Line 17 plate, paying just under £2500 a year on insurance!!!! Avoid Hastings Insurance.
Great car but a Megane R26 is better and much cheaper.
Didn’t think of a Megane. I know there great track cars
old now though and french , cheap metal and metal fatigue
@@carguy792 This is not something that happens to Meganes and they don't rust either.
No french cars been there ever again lol
