I plan to buy a Porsche Cayman but the prices for the latest generation is a lot higher, but they hopefully has less problem with the dreaded "bore score" repair of the engine cylinders that cost usually 15000 to 25000 £$€ (and 6000 at lest £$€ if you only fix one cylinder or 2 cylinders). It might be economically wise to actually pay double for the latest gen to avoid that 25000 £$€ repair that will happen one day.

That’s a xenon bulb not led but it will be much brighter than any aftermarket LED bulbs you can buy

It actually looks good with the Tiffany Blue. I have to say I thought it wouldn't look any better but to be very honest you HAVE spruced it up, less is more and this is just about 'right' to my eye at least, in making it look as good as it can. NOT having the logo on the bonnet was a very good call. That car won't look out of place in Monaco. Who did the brake calipers and how much did this all cost ?

What's your opinion on the Techno wheels ? Maybe nice to have 2 different looks

The gearing is set up to give the car the fastest acceleration up to top speed.... Sadly that makes it a bit boring at legal speeds.

Who on earth buys a sports car with automatic gearing??? Here in Europe 75% the used Caymans for sale is automatic gearing... When you drive hard and push it on roads with lot of turns automatic gearing can frankly be dangerous if it suddenly decides to change gear at the wrong time. Also I personally like to gear myself, it is part of the driving experience specially on a sports car.

Never crossed my mind to test drive a 2.7 Cayman 981 bought the 3.4S just for everything it has. Looks, performance, handling and the flat 6 engine. Trust me in 20 years time the 981 will be worth more than the 718. Took it on the Snetterton Novice track day with my son and when he drove it. Nothing went past him. It streets ahead better to drive than the 964 Carrera I sold to fund it. PDK is a dream to use in town or on the track.

I test drove a zetec 1.25 2014. Found it slow and heavy . Lovely car though

So you spent all that $$ just for the sound? I heard you over and over again say "oh my god" But did it increase performance? Improve throttle response? Is the car faster 0-60. Is it faster 60-100? Did it Improve lap times etc?

All 1.0 eco boosts (by the name boost) are turbo charged. Each have different software maps ranging from 100, 120 or 140 PS). There is no non turbo ecoboost. You may be thinking of the 1.2 duratec petrol.
