I have just sold my 987.2 Cayman base 2.9, I have been extensively test driving 981 Cayman S, whilst the PDK make it easier to swap gears in order to exploit the flat six engine it loses out on driving engagement big time when compared to the manual S. I am a big fan of the manual cogs, due to the rarity of manual I will settle for either gear box in the right spec.
The S has that low down torque but it took me awhile to find the marginal power advantage over my 987.2 base car, the Caymans perform similar with the greatest difference being the chassis of the 981, 981 chassis is far better than the 987.2 Cayman. I like your car it’s well optioned sounds great, enjoy.

Enjoyed the video! Look forward to seeing and hearing what exhaust you go for, despite the cost I’d probably recommend PSE. Porsche judged the loud / quiet modes perfectly so you can be a hooligan when you want but very civilized through villages 😂
Also you have the same engine as the base 991.1 Carrera which also happens to be the same engine as in the 987.2/997.2 with very small tweaks to produce different power outputs depending on how expensive the car was 😄
