Had mine for about 18 months now. Was quicker than the mk6 fiesta st i had back in 2007, and then i had a stage 2 done by pumaspeed. Its now just shy of 250bhp and is pretty rapid by comparison. But think a hybrid turbo to take it to around 300bhp is needed now. They are great cars
Hi Josh you have an amazing car my Gran had the same car but in Dark blue they are really good reliable cars keep going 100% support you channel cant wait for next video pleasure to watch 😊😊😊
Thinking of getting the MK7 ST to replace my standard MK6 1.2 L . Do you mind me asking what the insurance was like on your car before mods ? That is the only thing I am unsure if I can afford it or not . Thanks
Good video mate, you mentioned the car getting up to temperature in around 2 mins, would recommend getting a lufi gauge to keep an eye on the true temp as I think 4 bars on the cars gauge is actually only 50°, just a thought mate
Love the channel mate , great vids .... got an ST last week very similar to yours 😲. Do you get abit of break noise on yours when slow driving and wobble when breaking from high speeds ? Only 2 things with car making me paranoid lol
The fiesta feels more harsh and engaging mostly due to the manual but also the build quality is not as good so feels a bit more rattly. But still love it. The mini was an amazing car from build quality to noise. There two different price brackets but I feel like I’d scratched the itch with the mini and was ready to move on. Glad I got the fez
Sure you probably know this by now, but if you hold the traction control button for a number of seconds it turns off the tcs and esc completely as opposed to only half. Good video though, had 3 including a stage 2+ ST200. One of the most fun cars at any price range let alone the bargain that they actually are
@@JoshBatesYT Good man, i’m picking up my 4th one on Saturday 😅, so watching this has got me good and ready for a blast come the weekend. Keep up the good content 👍🏼
@@JoshBatesYT I was asking the same thing on a certain subreddit recently as I have a mk7 1.0 ecoboost. Mine isn't keyless and someone was saying that's not the only issue. Apparently the locks aren't very resistant to screwdrivers.
@@JoshBatesYT people easily get in through the boot and then just plug in through the OBD port and drive off 😒 you can get the OBD relocated or disabled, I'd definitely recommend getting the physical boot latch button disabled, you can just use the boot button on your fob to open it yourself.

Awesome car fella. Could you do a 0-60 with the camera stuck to the dash aimed at the spedo and rev counter so we can see how fast 6.9s looks?
Yeah that’s a good idea. I’ll do that definitely at some point
@@JoshBatesYT I also have a fez so it would be good to see the difference

Ok forward to next vid
Look forward
Can’t wait to see what you do with this 👊
I can't wait to start modding it 😂😂
...compared to the mini what wins?
If you could have kept the mini?

What would the insurance be for a new driver ?
A lottt I wouldn’t even bother 😂😂
@@JoshBatesYT yeah I would imagine better of with a 1.0lt ecoboost instead
Your gonna love it lol.
How much did you get the car for?
£9200

Yeah I’ve always got traction fully off 😂 and I can’t wait to slowly increase the power on this

Will do appreciate it
security 😢
Ahahaha every video someone comments about the security. Do you mind explaining what’s different about the st to any other keyless car. Thanks

Damn this car really is easy to get in. What was Ford thinking 😂
