And if this happens when you have a Heat element Style Change, you're better off grinding for an Aqua element so you can utilize Ice Stage and stunlock him a la FreezeMan. Even then, the bubbles will still come out regularly.

10:18 Uh... I think you meant "CloudMan" there, QG. Also, holy crap, that ending sure sent me down memory lane, heavily referencing the ending of the very first video I ever saw from Joschscorcher and Alex Rochon.
I respect all of the choices you make I really like FreezeMan because of his ice powers and even his character design, but sadly, his potential is sadly wasted forever :(
Ngl I was hoping to see Kingman on here because out of every BN enemy I faced, aside from the bugs with BN4.... he was the only bane of my existence in the games.
Ah man this topic is too spicy even for me. Ah well, I just hope I can see FlameMan.EXE sonewhere on here EDIT: My wish has been granted, and my worries did not come true.
My wish was granted just by seeing all ten of the worst NetNavis in the MMBN series as a whole, I count MMNT as part of the BN timeline for this reason as it's connected to BN2 through the conveniently placed stinger involving Shadowman.EXE talking with his unseen operator about his next job. Oh well, maybe next time he can make a top 10 best NetNavis remaster since the last one is 3 parts long.
I haven't played the Battle Network series yet, but it looks awesome! Now I can only hope that BN4 is not on the same level as X7. Great list as usual!
Dishonorable Mention: *Sharkman - Battle Network 1 -Unless you have a way to restrict the other shark's movements or a way to break the panels, you're constantly juggling between dodging the sharks and hunting down the real Sharkman and it's infuriating! Especially if you're going for his chip.
12:19 there’s one good thing I can say about Stoneman that would have raised him if not to number 8 on the list at least number 7: His Navi chip. He’s early enough in the game that you can find his ghost pretty easily. And since his forms of attack, don’t change the “tougher“ he is. It’s much easier to get his lvl 3 chip. And if you can pair it with at least two steal chips, The opponent cannot dodge the attack at all. (because the boulders only spawn in the opponents available tiles) And if you can hit an enemy with all three rock waves, it can do some stupid damage. Which, when it comes to a few of the boss fights, that can come in really handy.
@@Rabbitlord108 that’s why I said pair it with 2 S Steal chips. Because the rocks only spawn over the enemy’s area. So if you take at lest 5 tiles the rocks are ALL a guaranteed hit.
Really excited for the Legacy Collection coming in April 😊 Been a fan of the series when playing my brother's copy of Red Sun (yes, I know the game is flawed but it's a Guilty Pleasure) Happy to see you doing well, QG. Well done List dude. Also was one of the final parts of #1 a reference to one of the collabs between Fiery Joker and Autarch of Flame? If so Awesome job.
About Pharaohman, the NT Warrior manga even did a better job than the games did for Pharaohman. He was the Navi that granted Megaman the power of Style Change through a test he prepared for Megaman, in the manga only. The manga even did a full flashback sequence of Dex at school during that part of the story, where the continent of Mu was brought up, something the Battle Network games does not even mention, and, as we learned from the game Megaman Starforce 2, Mu existed in the Battle Network/Starforce timeline. Even as small of an inclusion Pharaohman had from what little of the manga I read so far, does Pharaohman get better justice than the games did for him. I still remember that dumb funny moment in the manga though, where Pharaohman falls over and is stuck, because he's a sarcophagus, leaving Megaman to need to help him back up. Gives me the same funny vibes I got from a scene from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon manga, where the protag sets Xatu on fire because he's not replying back, who doesn't notice the pain till a few moments after he stops viewing the past an/or future, giving a delayed reaction from the pain. While I know these two cases are not the same at all, they do both give me the same dumb funny vibes

I originally thought Zero from Network Transmission was gonna be on the list. Anyways....... 28:27 - 28:32 Please don't beast out QG. I actually got worried. Also, I'm guessing the next video is QG @ The Arcade: Space Invaders. Am I right or am I right?
10: Or you could be Tim Curry or Bill Skarsgard. 9: By the way, the Life Virus looks pretty cool. This guy just looks odd. 8: Yeah, needless to say Kyurem is a more imposing ice type villain than this frozen over fool. 7: Oh come on, I already compared the previous entry to a legendary Pokemon; why you gotta taunt me? 6: Yeah, that looks ridiculous compared to OG Stone Man. At least that one looked like a beleiveable golem. 5: What the hell?? It was right there! The initial design looked awesome! Why did you not use it!!? 4: I've not had laser attacks this easy to dodge since Basarios', honestly. 3: Is it just me or does a vampire that drains your electricity instead of your blood sound more disturbing? Maybe it's because the idea of a monster killing you in a way you didn't think possible screws with my min a bit. 2: You gotta play Battle Network 4... 3 times? Hmm, sounds like a discount Shadow the Hedgehog. Anyway, I gotta imagine that if the game did have voice acting, the Japanese one would be definitely superior. Even Mega Man X7 had that courtesy! 1: First time that a Mega Man boss list from you didn't end with either an endgame boss or a fire boss. And man does Bubbleman deserve it.
Well I guess I'm a monster...Burner Man with voice acting would go....BURN! BURN! BURNTOTHEGROUND! BURN! BURNTOTHEGROUND! BURNTOTHEGROUND! BURNTOTHEGROUND!
Battle Network 3 Blue was my first experience with the Battle Network series... and Bubbleman almost made me want to quit the game. Not only were Electric chips hard to encounter, but I had to rely on getting an Electric evolution for Megaman with the pierce effect so I could hit the bugger behind his rock... you are not wrong to hate him, for I hate him immensely as well.
The only good thing about Bubble Man is that his Navi chip can be pretty damn useful, especially if you use a bunch of attack plus chips that raise Navi or aqua damage
I have fond memories of BN Blue Moon, but I can fully admit it is a subpar game compared to the other entries. I think my enjoyment of it and the later games came from the fact that 1. It is somewhat linear so that you don’t have to worry too much about getting lost, which I had some issues with in the first 3 games, and 2. The double soul mechanic was so much fun to use despite how much better it was utilized in 5 and 6! I also know that as much as I would replay these games, the amount of time that would be required to finish this collection makes me hesitant to buy it, so we shall see!
I have some proposition of others mega man videos for you : top 10 worst mega man bosses in general (by that i mean, you include the worst bosses of every mega man series, including X, Zero and battle network) top 10 best mega man bosses in general every mega man final bosses ranked from worst to best.
Hey QG! Your mentioning of MMBN3 just awakened a ton of nostalgia in me, as that was (and still is) the only MMBN game that I've EVER played... and also how much I HATED Desertman.exe, his fight's a tedious, obnoxious pain in the butt, I remember during certain attempts that I actually RAN OUT of battle chips to use. (Yeah, that's a thing somehow) Beastman.exe was also a RIDICULOUS difficulty spike for me, but *not* for the reasons you may think, the main reason I struggled with him was because at the time, I straight-up didn't know you could customize your battle chip loadout... yeah, I wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Especially if Beast Man uses Wild Rush to kill you (For those unaware, Wild Rush is the name of Beast Man's desperation attack where he disappears and his claws and head suddenly dash at you out of nowhere)
Megaman Battle Network is super nostalgic, unfortunely not all of its NetNavis are forgivible for beign bad. This sure reminds and proves that in a masterfull way.
After seeing this I'm curious how each series worst bosses stack up to each other Like how does battle network's worst boss stack up to the likes of Pheonix Magneon from the zero series or the X series boss that shall not be mentioned by name
What a coincidence, that Burner Man ends up being both the 2nd worst Robot Master and the 2nd worst NetNavi, only losing to a boss who is a complete joke (Quint and BubbleMan) in either list.
Thanks for the vid, i felt like going through mmbn3 again a couple days ago and beat alpha a couple hours before this came out. The fire navi in this game is terrible, having to go through basically the whole internet to put out fires using energychange with water chips is terrible.
As some that had finally beat all 6 mainline Battle Network games three days ago, and am now coming back to rewatch this video... I think BeastMan deserved a spot here. A NetNavi that's so fast that he's hard to even hit with your chips and can destroy you easily if you don't have quick enough reflexes being that early in the game should be illegal lol

I remember that. Alex Rochon would be happy
18:47 When did you stream Mega Man Network Transmission?
This list was a long time coming since your best collab with Green Scorpion....and yeah, I can agree with most of your choices. Also looking forward to the Legacy Collection so I can finally try them out for myself.
i like how the beginning of the list is just Standing here
I realize
You are just like me
Trying to make history
But who's to judge
The right from wrong
When our guard is down
I think we'll both agree
That violence breeds violence
But in the end it has to be this way
I've carved my own path
You followed your wrath
But maybe we're both the same
The world has turned
And so many have burned
But nobody is to blame
Yet staring across this barren wasted land
I feel new life will be born
Beneath the blood stained sand
Beneath the blood stained sand
Since you talked already about the worst Robot Masters, Mavericks, and NetNavis, then how about a future Top Ten Worst Megaman Star Force Bosses?
Love how one of my favorites ended up at the bottom. That got a chuckle out of me. I might like his design but i hate how many times i kept getting hit by that hand attack
I love the BTAS bits with the whole “I threw a rock at him!”
"It was a big rock!"
*laughs in GutsShoot PA*
4:40 Is this going to be the new Smell of the Game?
Loved the King of the Hill references you made when talking about Burnerman!
Funny enough I have a rather soft spot for flame man's design, the candle design is really creative
As someone who actually loves Battle Network (the only part I genuinely hate is the undernet and everything after it), and has played through it several times in my life...
I genuinely had no idea that Brightman had a close-range attack that drained health. XD
To each their own,but a good chunk of these are personal favorites of mine
PlanetMan's mostly because I'm a big fan of space themed stuff in media
Idk why I like StoneMan so much, there's something so endearing to me about him that I can't place
FreezeMan's design[while not as good as the Classic, granted]is still fitting and neat looking
DrillMan's design is sick and deserves praise[imo]
Overall, great vid and I'm super hyped for the Legacy Collection
Planet Man just seems cool to me. I like him a lot
I like the designs of the ones you mentioned (except StoneMan he’s kind of goofy tbh)
@@agentblackbird9435
Maybe that is why I like StoneMan,he is pretty goofy
Man I can't wait for that Legacy Collection.
Same
@@ultimapower6950 yes you can
I also can't wait to eventually get this legacy collection especially due to Battle Network 3 being the first MegaMan game I ever played
If Burner Man.EXE were to have voice acting, given BN4 released in 2003……you know, the same year X7 released……how about mimicking Flame Hyenard?
11:11 This reminds me. MAN! I wish Family Guy STAYED cancelled.
10:18
Uh... I think you meant "CloudMan" there, QG.
Also, holy crap, that ending sure sent me down memory lane, heavily referencing the ending of the very first video I ever saw from Joschscorcher and Alex Rochon.
I respect all of the choices you make
I really like FreezeMan because of his ice powers and even his character design, but sadly, his potential is sadly wasted forever :(
And what’s even more ironic is he was a badass in the anime.
24:07 You mean:
BURN!!BURN!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!!
*Vietnam war flashbacks*
Ngl I was hoping to see Kingman on here because out of every BN enemy I faced, aside from the bugs with BN4.... he was the only bane of my existence in the games.
12:42 it was a big rock :(
23:43 Fun Fact: You can Destroy Burner Man’s Flamethrowers with an Air hockey which results in the NetBattle becoming a Cakewalk.
Ah man this topic is too spicy even for me. Ah well, I just hope I can see FlameMan.EXE sonewhere on here
EDIT: My wish has been granted, and my worries did not come true.
As is tradition with Mega Man having bad Fire Bosses.
For me my least favorite fire Navi hands down goes to Burnman from BN4. It's just so tedious avoiding his burn projectile and his attacks all at once.
Dishonorable Mention:
*Sharkman - Battle Network 1
-Unless you have a way to restrict the other shark's movements or a way to break the panels, you're constantly juggling between dodging the sharks and hunting down the real Sharkman and it's infuriating! Especially if you're going for his chip.
12:19 there’s one good thing I can say about Stoneman that would have raised him if not to number 8 on the list at least number 7:
His Navi chip.
He’s early enough in the game that you can find his ghost pretty easily. And since his forms of attack, don’t change the “tougher“ he is. It’s much easier to get his lvl 3 chip.
And if you can pair it with at least two steal chips,
The opponent cannot dodge the attack at all.
(because the boulders only spawn in the opponents available tiles)
And if you can hit an enemy with all three rock waves, it can do some stupid damage.
Which, when it comes to a few of the boss fights, that can come in really handy.
The one BIG drawback with that chip is that where the blocks drop on the field is entirely RNG based.
@@Rabbitlord108 that’s why I said pair it with 2 S Steal chips.
Because the rocks only spawn over the enemy’s area. So if you take at lest 5 tiles the rocks are ALL a guaranteed hit.

Oh, I don’t think I’m in the know, so what voice did you picture Atsuki having , just for my own frame of reference
Haha, when you got to Number 7 and mentioned the bosses being annoying at worst, I immediately thought of CloudMan as well 😆
Really excited for the Legacy Collection coming in April 😊
Been a fan of the series when playing my brother's copy of Red Sun (yes, I know the game is flawed but it's a Guilty Pleasure)
Happy to see you doing well, QG. Definitely think there are some bad apples in the forest of Navis
Looking at you ColdMan.exe -_-
Anywho, keep up the good work. 👍
the only half decent thing about bubbleman is the chips he drops. nothing more, nothing less.
You ain’t alone QG I hate bubble man with a venomous passion. How I beat him when I was a kid I will never know.
28:17-28:30 Whoa, reference to the Autarch of Flame (or Alex Rochon)? When he said almost the exact words on his (outdated/old) most hated characters countdown?
I love it!
I agree with your statements about the Darkloids in MMBN5. However, I did like Cosmoman. He had a cool design and a decent battle.
Well done List dude. Also was one of the final parts of #1 a reference to one of the collabs between Fiery Joker and Autarch of Flame? If so Awesome job.
These Ten NetNavis that are on the chopping block will get...

@@TheQuarterGuyIronically my reaction to seeing any RWBY clips or fanart on any of my feeds.
So did you get Autarch's permission to use his bit from his worst bosses list? Pretty sure he did the exact same line during the Jasper Bat Jr entry.
do youu have a list of your opinion about netnavis vs their original counterparts like wich one you like more example gutsman v gutsman.EXE i like EXE more then OG gutsman
I originally thought Zero from Network Transmission was gonna be on the list. Also, while I do agree with Search Man and Wind Man being exceptions for Battle Network 4, I also think that Aqua Man and Junk Man are exceptions as well because of their story arcs.
Anyways.......
28:27 - 28:32
Please don't beast out QG.
F**K BUBBLEMAN.EXE!!! 😠😡
The only good thing about Bubble Man is that his Navi chip can be pretty damn useful, especially if you use a bunch of attack plus chips that raise Navi or aqua damage
I really miss the "And cue facepalm" catchphrase
I used to have that same PET... wish I knew what happened to it
I have fond memories of BN Blue Moon, but I can fully admit it is a subpar game compared to the other entries.
Bubbleman EXE CAN GO ROT IN THE UNDERNET!
Did QG just give us a throwback to The Autarch Of Flame?!
Did you know FreezeMan.exe was voiced by Lord Garmadon Mark Oliver in the anime?
I know.
28:32 I've already pre-ordered Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, thank you very much!

Yup me too
That Steven He reference is so spot on. Never played Battle Network but I'm sure that these worst NetNavis will be instantly send to Jesus.

Don't worry QG. I actually recently wrote a 3-page essay on how AI becoming evil is technically impossible.
Hug, interesting. I assume it's mainly down to the fact machines can't technically become sentient? I dunno that much about how that works.
No. It can’t BECOME evil, because it already IS.
@@jonathanmarks3112 No, not that.

I have some proposition of others mega man videos for you :
top 10 worst mega man bosses in general (by that i mean, you include the worst bosses of every mega man series, including X, Zero and battle network)
top 10 best mega man bosses in general
every mega man final bosses ranked from worst to best.

@@davidthemusicman1046 yeah, me too. You can also do that, you seem to have a lot of mainline mega man games.
@@DarkH10 I have played a few games but star force and Battle network I've never played so maybe I'll play those.

@@arthursnyder6935 or maybe quint he could be number 1
There is a reason that in a Battle Network fanfic I’m doing, I’m swapping Bubbleman with Acidman.
Where can I read it?
(Yeah, that's a thing somehow)
Beastman.exe was also a RIDICULOUS difficulty spike for me, but *not* for the reasons you may think, the main reason I struggled with him was because at the time, I straight-up didn't know you could customize your battle chip loadout... yeah, I wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Especially if Beast Man uses Wild Rush to kill you (For those unaware, Wild Rush is the name of Beast Man's desperation attack where he disappears and his claws and head suddenly dash at you out of nowhere)
I was just wondering, what about SnakeMan and PharaohMan in Rockman EXE WS? Or do they not really make the cut for this vid?
So you know you can stand in front of BurnerMan’s burners as they approach, and they stop in front of you, right? Makes the battle much easier
Megaman Battle Network is super nostalgic, unfortunely not all of its NetNavis are forgivible for beign bad. This sure reminds and proves that in a masterfull way.
Not really. I see a bias against non-humanoid Navis
@@pn2294 im not against non-humanoid Navis.
20:28 "counter his counter" did not expect that reference.
After seeing this I'm curious how each series worst bosses stack up to each other
Like how does battle network's worst boss stack up to the likes of Pheonix Magneon from the zero series or the X series boss that shall not be mentioned by name
Let me guess, you see BurnerMan.EXE being voiced by Flame Hyenard, don't you?
The same kind of "totally lost it pyromaniac" voice, anyway.
I'm looking forward to finally Playing this subseries! I would have gotten the Wii u versions but the multiple versions confused me. So I wanted
28:27 BEAST OUT! RAGING QG! Jokes aside, I don't know why, but the flat out ROAR of rage is funny to me, followed by the explosion sound.
11:10 this is just the best interpretation of this part of the story.
I will not lie to you, Quarter Guy, I forgot Battle Network BubbleMan even existed
New quarter guy top 10 and on a topic i love. So excited for battle network collection
I know the saga ended at BN6, but I'd love a prequel or spinoff or something that had Navis based on Robot Masters from Mega Man 9-11.
In 11's case, the reverse happened with Blast Man
@@arthursnyder6935torchman is loosely based on Fireman.exe.
