I'm surprised there's _any_ unused content still in the games' final builds (extra images, sprites, chips, animations, etc.), considering just how pressed for space they were when making the games. The change in art style from the more detailed 1-3 to the smaller and less detailed in 4-6 was due to needing to save data to fit on carts, and the most obvious one is how they cut nearly all the post-game out of 6 because the English/international translations took up so much more space than the original Japanese. (and even in Japanese there was still a lot of limited and cut content in 6)

I have been a fan of battle network since I was a kid when I watched my older sibling play BN5 in the ds. But about a year ago, I became utterly obsessed with the franchise thanks to open netbattle, which is built to make mods easy to make and even has online pvp. I'll look into it some more
Ah, so I wait said was right, but it isn't like I showed. He would bounce off walls like the AirHoc chip and not in a satellite-wave like pattern as I showed!
Oh ok thank you for confirming that
Thanks for covering this one!
Thank you for watching!
8:07 you know what? If that was in the debug for BN2 maybe you were right about BN1 Max mode. Maybe it was just a debug feature so they could test scenarios without fighting every virus properly. Maybe that's why BN1's encounter rate and enemy difficulty are so unbalanced. They were abusing their debug stuff lol.
Lmao maybe 🤔
Max Mode is exclusive to the game's pvp mode, where buster stats are maxed and armor is negated.
One of my favorite hand held series
HOPE YOU UPLOAD MORE LOST BITS VIDEOS ON VIDEO GAMES LIKE ANY MARIO OR NINTENDO GAME
Time to dust off those old BattleChips!
The gold / yellow gem was introduced in mmbn4.5 japanese exclusive
That buster battle chip would have been nice if it was an auto charge shot chip but for the newer titles with more buster support...
Thank you, I love the Woodman Sprites!
Thank you very much for this. It is appreciated.
MegaMan Battle Network, my beloved.
Nice to see battlenetwork gets some attention.
About time that you covered this
Believe it or not Megaman battle network was originally going to be a Horror game
I can't believe it, a man of culture
😎
Whoa, Network Transmission had a pic of Chicago for unused content??
Been playing the collection recently and I am obsessed with battle network right now. I'm currently playing mmbn2
Nice 😎👍🏻
