Lanky macCrazyhair I agree on the Power Stone part. I love the thing because I have gotten ludicrously lucky with the thing and it has saved me plenty of times.
Honestly the Sakugarne could have been a cool weapon with amazing utility if they put more thought into it. I mean a simple yet effective idea for the Sakugarne would have been to make it like a mobile Rush Coil you control and can get to even higher areas with by timing a button press for when you land, and each time you land creates a shockwave that travels along the ground but can the shockwaves reach higher with the perfectly timed button presses and make it able to land on spikes without you dying. If they did that, the Sakugarne would have been fuckin' awesome.

Your channel is great! I discovered it recently. And I never really thought about it a lot, but when I faced Quint for the first time when I was maybe seven or eight-years-old he was disappointing. It just seemed like you just have to go through the motions of beating him and then instantly forget about him. I agree that it was a huge missed opportunity.
You made the absolute BEST top 100 Robot Masters list in existence! So glad to see you revisit the series and your lists! Please continue "remaking" your lists because I, and countless others, would sincerely LOVE, to watch along and have fun with these! Being a hardcore Mega Man enthusiast through and through, I can't express how much I appreciate everything you do Mega Man and hope you keep going onward by revisiting this series!
Something you didn't mention that makes Plant Man even worse: Every Boss in the game barring Tomahawk Man is immune to the Plant Barrier. Not "Takes 1 damage", straight up immune (this also applies to the Centaur Flash for everyone but Wind Man, but that's at least a screen clear attack, so nerfing it is understandable). And Tomahawk Man's Silver Tomahawk pierces the Plant Barrier anyways, so it's almost useless against him, too.
I think should do more remakes of previous countdowns? If you do, the top 10s on boss battles and character would be an epic remaster, just spitballing. Awesome vid QG!
"Fire bosses are either awesome or bad" Well that's because fire is the most commonly used "elemental". Then again, as Redcloak put it, "They're not called reactionals, you know!"
Funny thing is I make the infamous disappearing block segment of Heat Man's stage my bitch. I've memorized the layout so well I don't need Item 2 for it anymore.
Eh no problem dude. Honestly that block puzzle isn't really hard when you know where the three spots the blocks appear directly above another ones are.
I literally have beaten the disappearing block segment of Magnet Man (MM3) in my first attempt. I didn't die in this part. And yes,i did it without Rush Jet.
Hard Man is one of my personal favorite Robot Master, because he was the first robot master I beat with the mega buster. I don’t count Cut Man because I found him too easy. The challenge was more satisfying when I finally beat him and got one of my favorite weapons, Hard Knuckle.
Funny enough, cut Man is actually my favorite robot master because he's the first one I actually managed to beat (and I love his design and theme song). But yeah, Hard Man is awesome! (I still haven't beat him)
Just imagine some random viewer looking at the comments and saying "wtf is za warudo?" and someone else there answers their question with "The same source as his old running gag".
As evidenced by his design and his fight, Hard Man is likely based upon a Seismic wave generator, given his ability to cause earthquakes upon launching himself into the ground. It seems faintly reminiscent of the concept that Dr. (Letz) Shake uses in the No More Heroes series. Wave Man probably would’ve been better for Hard Man’s name.
Regarding Bright Man, there's an easy workaround for using his weakness in a way that he won't ever use the Flash Stopper: Just shoot him once with the Mega Buster when the fight starts and switch to the Rain Flush right after. Unless you're playing the GameBoy version, he'll never freeze you.
In my mm 4 playthrough I actually picked brightman as my first robot master, and I did beat him! You would ask why I didn't pick toadman and the reason is that I have found toadman too difficult to fight....
Okay, this was even funnier than the original Top Ten Worst Robot Masters list you did. And I'm glad that I'm not the only one who hated the fact that you basically needed Item 2 in order to get past Heat Man's stage. Oh, the frustration...
So, Capcom, since you're doing literally nothing with the guy, how about handing him over to a company that'll show him the love he needs? No? Booooo...
TheGoldenFreezer No they Wouldn't! Do you guys even realize that *They* we're the ones who supported Blaster Master outside of SunSoft. They know how Platformers work (overensastional Nostalgic Fan-Boys...)
Eh, the only good thing I can say about either Heat or Bright Man is at least they're kinda cute design-wise. Not quite Ice Man or Dynamo Man cute, but a close second.
6:36 this is the one thing I don't get from anyone who reviews mega man 3. They don't seem to understand the designs of the robot masters in this one. all the robot masters in mega man 3 are based off of metals. Topman: low friction alloy Hardman: Super dense metal Snakeman: flexible metal Sparkman: highly conductive metal Needleman: A great metal for piercing Shadowman: A high light reflecting alloy Geminiman: highly reflective metal magnetman: very magnetic metal It's the reason that MegaMan 3 is the only one without a fire type robot master. The whole story of the game is that the island this takes place in has all sorts of different types of metals that are being used to create gamma.
Street Fighter 5 Still has no Arcade Mode, Marvel Infinite's presentation is poorly received, & They STILL have no plans to localize Monster Hunter XX! Like, did they just shove ALL of their game making abilities into Resident Evil 7?!
In the future (I'm from 2019) they updated SS5 with arcade mode, (though it's still bad imo) MVCI is cancelled, and they did localise monster Hunter XX as Monster Hunter Generations on 3DS and later a switch version for Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. They also released Monster Hunter World on PS4 XB1 and PC and is far better in generations though I personally don't really like the MS series. They also released DMC5 and Mega Man 11 recently, so it seems like they are getting back on their feet after the disaters that were SF5 and MVCI. It also seems like Mega Man X9 is in development since the X legacy collections sold so well, and if the Zero/ZX collection does well we are sure to get a Mega Man ZX3 by Inti Creates. (Hopefully)
Good video! I was planning on doing a Top Ten Disappointing Robot Masters list later next year near Mega Man 11's release date. Hopefully my choices won't be all that similar to yours. 😉
I like how Hard Knuckle works - It's very powerful and its slow startup makes it feel heavy damaging. I love Heatman's stage - it's a good challenge for ppl who refuse to use items, music is great, and boss fight is ok, and beeing 6 years old and using his weapon for the first time was awesome. Bright Man has a good stage and the boss fight is tricky/fun. Plant Man has the best music in the game, but ye he's boring. Birner Man is pure awesomeness - ye he's challening and frustrating at times, but fun for anyone who likes a good challenge.
At least Quint and his Sakugarne are given a MAJOR overhaul in _Megaman 8bit Deathmatch,_ as the Quarter Guy stated. I won't spoil anything about Quint himself in that game, but you can find his Sakugarne in a handful of stages. Not only will you be hard to hit, since you're bouncing all over the place (which is harder to hit in three dimensions than it is in two), but when you crash into another robot master, it takes a massive chunk out of their health! Plus, the smaller stones are given much more range, meaning if you miss, the stones might still land.
Good job QG. Your original list on this topic hasn't aged very well, so I am happy that you showed how much you've grown. Though if I did have one criticism is that you used quotes that are very similar to what Raven said in his least favorite FE characters list. I wouldn't mind it if you did it once or twice and have them spread out, but you did it quite a number of times where it became kinda distracting.
0:14 It's just an onion! A pizza topping! But yeah, if we ever do get ZX3, I want to see Omega and the Dark Elf get some relevancy, and Aile get some more development.
10: As a side note since I got nothing to say about Bomb Man, my personal favorite OG Robot Master is probably Guts Man and it probably was Capcom's favorite too with the other robots who pay homage to him. I'm guessing his weakness is the Hyper Bomb because he makes buildings? 9: 5 is probably the worst NES game in the series. Far from the worst NES game; it still has a lot going for it. But I feel it's the most boring considering how mediocre most of the ammo-driven weapons are, which the Power Stone embodies in particular. With even Mega Man 1, I can at least say the weapons were mostly good. 8: Almost made it the whole way without making a butt joke. 7: Ironically Hard Man isn't that tough. 6: MM2 is still great, man. Disappointing that this is one of the RMs though. "The magma doesn't even look the part." A large part of why that is could be that it just looks similarly colored to the bricks. It almost looks like it's water made reddish due to the lighting.
Good list. It's kind of funny that aside from Quint and hard man every robot master on here was on the list I made on this topic over 2 years ago. Not that it's a bad thing I just find it humorous
I think that Quick Man is the worst Robot Master in Mega Man 2 because you HAVE to have lightning fast reflexes for Quick Man’s FREAKING stage! There is a reason that when people play Mega Man 2, they ALWAYS take on Quick Man as their last Robot Master for how tough his stage is if you don’t have lightning fast reflexes.
I also feel like I'm the only one on the planet who likes Top Man. Once again thanks in part to the comics, but I also didn't really mind him in MM3 (although his weapon isn't all that great, except in SM4SH).
Like seriously, the only characters in Mega Man 8 who actually had good voices were Mega Man, Bass, Proto Man, Roll, Tengu Man, and Duo. THAT'S IT. And keep in mind - there was 16 CHARACTERS WHO HAD VOICES IN MEGA MAN 8.
How does everyone not get that Hard Man is a cement mixer barrel? XD I remember thinking he was a bullet based off of the nintendo power poster, but they drew him a bit fatter for the next issue which makes the design a bit more obvious. It's kind of how no one got the joke on Monster Party for the fried foods and two teleporters being a reference to the fly (or in this case, 'the fry') :P
Dr. Wily: "Let's assess... Cons; I'll be sabotaging my own army by dumbing down what could be my greatest general out of pure spite for the robot he used to be... Pros; this will be funny as hell."
About Bright Man's damage thresholds... I find that one pellet before either all Toad Rain or all charged shots negates that element. Not saying that makes him good, but at least he CAN be managed.
But Bright Man is not worser than Toad Man after all (though that's his weakness). His Flash Stopper is way better than Flash Man's Time Stopper. You can stop the time and freeze enemies multiple times. Bright Man's stage is pretty fine and tricky. And fighting him is fine.
It may have been a year but I'd like to point out his weapon only stops enemies, not time. Flash man is the only one to be able to stop time in the series as far as I'm aware (along with his weapon you get).
0:08 Nice Viewtiful Joe reference. I'm still think it's Mundas. That castle at the end of VJ2 reminded me of Mundas's Castle from DMC1 for some reason.
king fortress 2: enemies= scout man, soldier man and pyro man. mini bosses=demo man, heavy man and engineer man. bosses=medic man, sniper man and spy man

Being a hardcore Mega Man enthusiast through and through, I can't express how much I appreciate everything you do Mega Man and hope you keep going onward by revisiting this series!
"King Fortress 2"
Valve is currently filimg a lawsuit against capcom.
Even though KF2 was a thing since 1998, LONG before TF2 was released
11:26 honestly that was a very proper representation of Aquaman, as much of a joke as that character was until his movie.
I just now realized that your transitions are from the JoJo arcade game, and for that you are a true man of culture
"Fire bosses are either awesome or bad"
Well that's because fire is the most commonly used "elemental".
Then again, as Redcloak put it, "They're not called reactionals, you know!"
I know this is two years later but thank you for the OOTS reference
You're welcome! Been a month or two since I've read it, but at that time I was caught up.
Wasn't expecting this! This list is well put together! Great Job!
It took me... 11 years to realize that heat man... IS A Friggin LIGHTER! I just learned that here
Funny thing is I make the infamous disappearing block segment of Heat Man's stage my bitch. I've memorized the layout so well I don't need Item 2 for it anymore.
I don't have game recording equipment.
Sorry about that arrogant comment. II'm still impressed though.
16:38 "And Quint is still fucking horrible" 😂 I died laughing when I heard that!
(I still haven't beat him)
9:54 what are you talking about? Flashman is literally easier and his weapon sucks, he's not even a light-themed robot.
I'm surprised you didn't make a Za Warudo reference when mentioning the Flash Stopper.
Aincrad Knight Natlis wrrrrryyyyyy!
Dude, stop reading my mind! I thought of that too!
Just imagine some random viewer looking at the comments and saying "wtf is za warudo?" and someone else there answers their question with "The same source as his old running gag".
_AincradKnightNatlis What about a Chaos Control joke?
That could work too. It's just that he uses Dio so much that I was expecting a Jojo reference to be in that section.
Well, it was obvious to me, back then when was released, that Hardman was a Concrete Mixer bot.
I felt like I was gone for 10 minutes, when in reality, I was gone for 10 months. It's good to be back.
Regarding Bright Man, there's an easy workaround for using his weakness in a way that he won't ever use the Flash Stopper:
Just shoot him once with the Mega Buster when the fight starts and switch to the Rain Flush right after. Unless you're playing the GameBoy version, he'll never freeze you.
For bright man, just hit him once with the buster and then keep using charge shots and you'll skip all his thresholds
In my mm 4 playthrough I actually picked brightman as my first robot master, and I did beat him! You would ask why I didn't pick toadman and the reason is that I have found toadman too difficult to fight....
Im surprised that you didnt put Bubbleman. And its a personnal surprise ! Please continue what you do !
Every time that I would fight toadman I would always say in a Russian accent " stupid green mann"
Okay, this was even funnier than the original Top Ten Worst Robot Masters list you did. And I'm glad that I'm not the only one who hated the fact that you basically needed Item 2 in order to get past Heat Man's stage. Oh, the frustration...
I'm pretty sure there's also people who have beaten Heat Man's stage without using Item 2
If only I knew the joke in the beginning I would've probably laughed my booty off
Cliffhangers. Gotta love 'em. Especially when they don't get resolved.
So, Capcom, since you're doing literally nothing with the guy, how about handing him over to a company that'll show him the love he needs? No? Booooo...
Maybe to the guys that made those cool Megaman Zero games perhaps? Remember them?
If Mega Man or Sonic was given to Nintendo they would ruin them.
TheGoldenFreezer No they Wouldn't! Do you guys even realize that *They* we're the ones who supported Blaster Master outside of SunSoft. They know how Platformers work (overensastional Nostalgic Fan-Boys...)
HUGE IMPROVEMENT over the original list. Good job, man
I wasn't expecting you to remake this list. I thought your original list was fine. Ah well I still enjoy this regardless.
Love how you say NO to the whole Burn to the ground BS
Eh, the only good thing I can say about either Heat or Bright Man is at least they're kinda cute design-wise. Not quite Ice Man or Dynamo Man cute, but a close second.
6:36 this is the one thing I don't get from anyone who reviews mega man 3. They don't seem to understand the designs of the robot masters in this one. all the robot masters in mega man 3 are based off of metals.
Topman: low friction alloy
Hardman: Super dense metal
Snakeman: flexible metal
Sparkman: highly conductive metal
Needleman: A great metal for piercing
Shadowman: A high light reflecting alloy
Geminiman: highly reflective metal
magnetman: very magnetic metal
It's the reason that MegaMan 3 is the only one without a fire type robot master. The whole story of the game is that the island this takes place in has all sorts of different types of metals that are being used to create gamma.
Interesting...
I already love Mega Man 3 but that fact just makes the game even cooler.
Pikapower Kirby glad I could help increase your enjoyment of the game :)
I actually never knew that
Street Fighter 5 Still has no Arcade Mode, Marvel Infinite's presentation is poorly received, & They STILL have no plans to localize Monster Hunter XX!
Great vid of old games, tho!
Not just ravens least favorite FE characters but Mavericks Top 10 worst final bosses list as well.
Ah, a remake of the video that introduced me to your vids! Good stuff!
Good list. It's kind of funny that aside from Quint and hard man every robot master on here was on the list I made on this topic over 2 years ago. Not that it's a bad thing I just find it humorous
+AeroDragon2 Hey Aero. Yeah I do find it interesting.
9:21 (Insert Flame Hyenard here.)
*No.*
8:32 quarter guy: yoku blocks infamous
Me: Yoku blocks? Yoku blocks is from mega man unlimited
What?
I think that Quick Man is the worst Robot Master in Mega Man 2 because you HAVE to have lightning fast reflexes for Quick Man’s FREAKING stage! There is a reason that when people play Mega Man 2, they ALWAYS take on Quick Man as their last Robot Master for how tough his stage is if you don’t have lightning fast reflexes.
8 Best to Worst Mighty Numbers from Mighty No. 9!
Yeah! That's a good video idea!
4:35 "That's a little too harsh, man."
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who likes Plant Man
you aren't man
I really like him too, although my reasons for liking him are because of the comics (I haven't played MM6 in a while).
I like Plant Man.
I also feel like I'm the only one on the planet who likes Top Man. Once again thanks in part to the comics, but I also didn't really mind him in MM3 (although his weapon isn't all that great, except in SM4SH).
Pikapower Kirby bruh i like Top Man too
9:55 Flash Man isn't Light Type Boss, He doesn't use Laser/Light attack at all.
Flash man is said to use light in freezing time though it's not so obvious gameplay wise
@@elementmanexe8389 I'm not adding anything to my side, It is what the official site said.

Wen Wee Find Dat Meeteeah, Wee Wil Find Doctor Wahwee!
The highlight of this video
I needed this to distract me from my crushing need for Danganronpa v3 to come out
It did come out and it's really good, though the ending is pretty weird and very meta.
6:54 his name is Porto man
A ROBOT BLESSED BY THE POWER OF ARCEUS-- We got _Spoink..._
At Least Spoink's Good
Dr. Wily: "Let's assess... Cons; I'll be sabotaging my own army by dumbing down what could be my greatest general out of pure spite for the robot he used to be... Pros; this will be funny as hell."

the original was my first video that i saw from you and this new version does not disappoint
Oof i love plant man and bright man and HEAT MAN IS MY FAVORITE ROBOT EVER ACK GODDAMNIT I RESPECT UR OPINION BUT AHHHHH THAT ACTUALLY HURT MY SOUL
Heat your right I am the best
Heat I am the best robot fuck this guy who says I suck! Zippo lighters for life!
Girl, feel the vibration
When we're making love~🎶
Dreigonix no.
Heat Man
Waddup
About Bright Man's damage thresholds... I find that one pellet before either all Toad Rain or all charged shots negates that element. Not saying that makes him good, but at least he CAN be managed.
awesome remake bro!!!
Heat Man stage caused my first panic attack in life
0:04 Did you forget command mission?
+Megamania215 That's an arguably non-canon spin-off.
tim5fl who said?
+Megammania215 QG himself said that he thinks it is in his review of Command Mission. But I changed it to arguably.
Jeremy: you're serious? 6:27
Hold on is he going to remake Top 50 Robot Masters
"When you have other weapons like the Gyro Attack and Crystal Eye..."
or the Charged Mega Buster, which is the best weapon in Mega Man 5
But Bright Man is not worser than Toad Man after all (though that's his weakness). His Flash Stopper is way better than Flash Man's Time Stopper. You can stop the time and freeze enemies multiple times. Bright Man's stage is pretty fine and tricky. And fighting him is fine.
Захар Тихий Toad Man's power is also pretty good. Kill all enemies of the screen (Depending of its life) is amazing.
YOU CAN STOP THE TIIIIMMMEEEEEE
It may have been a year but I'd like to point out his weapon only stops enemies, not time. Flash man is the only one to be able to stop time in the series as far as I'm aware (along with his weapon you get).

Nice Viewtiful Joe reference. I'm still think it's Mundas. That castle at the end of VJ2 reminded me of Mundas's Castle from DMC1 for some reason.
I personally like Hard Man’s theme.
This list came out surprisingly quick!
You forgot to mention stone man's weapon in mega man 2 the power fighters, his weapon becomes a stone hand that moves on the ground
king fortress 2: enemies= scout man, soldier man and pyro man.
mini bosses=demo man, heavy man and engineer man.
bosses=medic man, sniper man and spy man
