    You've quickly become a go to reviewer for repaints! A small question: If the opportunity comes up again, would you do a group shot of all the toy-accurate Generations Beast Wars figures?

    • @TFCollector
      @TFCollector  2 года назад +2

      I could do that. I was waiting to see if there were anymore in the works, but I'll try to post some photos on Insta or FB if I can get the chance this week.

    I found this guy in target and I was like "I NEED DIS" specially because the more show accurate figure is nearly 60$ on amazon.

      I actually kinda prefer the toy colors. I always tho7ght the show version was too monotone.

    Just found this at Target today. I don't care if he's an Air Razor retool, he was a must buy!

      Specially since the Generations Terrorsaur is insanely expensive online. (The Golden Disk one)

    Really wish I hadn't gotten the original. This guy looks so much cooler, but I really don't need 2 versions of Terrorsaur of all characters

    Actually, Hasbro redesigned both the Maximal and Predacon insignias for Kingdom first. Then Legacy and Rise of the Beasts continued using them!!

    An extra head would've been good (if the head is easily removable).
    Personally, the original BW Basic Class toy is still holding up pretty well after all these years, bro.

    Fun fact: his name in Mandarin Chinese translates to "Snake Bird."

    I really hope the release the Maximal Silverbolt, he was my favorite.

    • @TFCollector
      @TFCollector  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, he really needs a new figure. He was such a vital character to the show.

    • @Qorm135

      Totally, not having a release of him in this new line, is like them never releasing Wazzpinator. And that just ain't right.

    Prefer this one mainly the green highlights and the beast mode's snout is not painted orange it's sort of accurate to real life pterodactyls

    Fantastic review TF Collector!!! I'm still undecided on getting these toy accurate Beast Wars repaints, but they do show how much of a difference in paint jobs Hasbro and Mainframe Entertainment had for the Beast Wars characters. lol Keep on being amazing.

    Legacy Terrorsaur is the toon accurate one.

    • @TFCollector

      Neín. The Kingdom toy uses the TV show colors. The Legacy one uses the original toy colors.

    BTW: Dinobot was originally a Predacon when the BW series started. He switched sides when Megatron blasted him for trying to usurp him. That may be the reason for the funny business with the faction symbol.

    I just picked this figure up today and at first I wasn't happy with it. As soon as I got him out of the packaging he was falling apart. Legs, wings and so on. I shouldn't have to put him together as soon as I her him. But after getting him together I'm liking what I see. Now to transform him. Let see if he stays together.

    • @TFCollector
      @TFCollector  Год назад

      Sorry to hear about that. If it doesn't stay together, maybe Target will let you exchange it.

    Nicer on camera than in promo images. I won't seek it out, but if I come across it I will probably snag it.

    I missed the golden disk version, so for now this is my terrorsaur. I am debating on customizing it, as I do prefer the show accurate colors over the toy ones. great review

    Re-watched because this video is that good!
    Just arrived in the mail today, good bro! Finally, a new tooling to add to every other beast version of this character in the personal collection! ❤ 😍 💖

      @@TFCollector Much obliged, my good bro! 😀
      His flight wing tips are rather loosy-goosy, but otherwise the QC is acceptable by modern standards (generally low quality/barely passable when compared to handling any sublime original Beast Wars toy). Am doing the customary trimming & removing of flashes & embedded bits of plastics all over the figure at the moment. Progressing smoothly, thankfully.
      One thing to note is the original toy's weapon beats this superposeable one. Though dinky by comparison, it can actually fold in two and be completely concealed (holistic weapon, armament & artillery integration was actually something ALL purely organic BW toys could do as part of its line-wide gimmick; over and above the built-in Mutant feature of the first wave' Deluxe, Mega & Ultra Class assortments). But this guy here does not disappoint in terms of mass, scale & posing! (This mould was definitely intended for him from the onset as opposed to Airazor.) Only oddity is unlike Primal or Rattrap, Terrorsaur's gun & feet are not blast-effect compatible! Uncanny, if you ask me. They (the cyber-organics) should all feature technology of equal ilk in the modern era to set them apart from their predecessors. (For an aerial combatant, jet propulsion effects are an absolute must!) Luckily the mid-region hole for the flight stand (a TF Generations technology) is still inherently active; along with a somewhat limited range of 5mm weapon compatibility.
      PS. Stay passionate, my bro! Your recent heavy Marvel & MOTO 'distractions' are concerning to say the least... 😉

    I can't tell whether to get him or not. I didn't like the mold to begin with which is why I missed out on the Amazon one on purpose. This version's color pops more than the cartoon version so I'm on the fence about getting him. I'd like to but that darn mold - just looks like he's sitting to take a dump in bird mode.

    • @TFCollector
      @TFCollector  2 года назад

      Terrorsaur deserved his own mold, but they went and gave him the retool treatment instead. 😔

    You complain way too much about something as inconsequential as a toy.

      It's... a toy review? The whole point is to analyze the pros and cons of an action figure. If you just want someone to pretend every figure is perfect, watch the Hasbro livestreams.
