Without a doubt one of the best characters in Beast Wars considering that he was the Starscream of the show. Add to the fact that his beast form was a Pteranodon makes him even more iconic and unforgettable.

@@WarbossR0kt00fSant0s Except that Dinobot wasn't overcharged the way Terrrorsaur was. Dinobot's only real flaw is his eye lasers rarely connected, whereas Terrorsaur seems to be a much better marksman. Up close though... yeah, fighting Dinobot is akin to wrestling a biomechanical blender. Terrorsaur's biggest flaw is that he's not very bright.
Fun fact: Terrorsaur and Scorponok survived the lava! In the guidebook, they were in stasis lock until the end of the Beast Wars they Woke up in their Transmetal Forms

Terrorsaur had the coolest transformation! Flip in two directions and his high noted screaming TERRORIZE! remains so badass :D
His transformation was awesome but in the end he turned out to be just a pussy.
He also did have one of the coolest weapons, too. That awesome rifle he could just whip out but very rarely did.
Terrorsaur might've had one _slight_ reason for being so cocky and ambitious, and it shows in this video; he seemed to have a more diverse personal arsenal than any of the other Transformers in the show, at least in the first season. Dude had shoulder- _and_ wrist-mounted blasters, eye lasers, a pistol, and a nice-sized rifle. No one else carried this much weaponry around on a regular basis.
Too bad for him that he didn't have the actual power or cunning on his own to match.
Terrorsaur thought he was cunning and clever tho. That was his flaw.

And don't forget his short sightedness. Since Tarantulus is plan to use the energon not only against Megatron and the Maximals but also against Terrosaur himself. Along that Skorponok refuse to have his allegiance with Terrosaur.

@@br61499 Eh, Starscream is generally more competent than Terrosaur, though. Just about every version of 'Screamer I can think of has either come close to or has taken over the Decepticons on multiple occasions each.

terrorsaur was my favorite, he was one of the most interesting characters, he had one of the coolest designs and voices and they basically just killed him off like bobba fett, it still pisses me off to this day

Obscure References I think Terrosaur along with Scorponok should had died later on. I think a good place for them to had died would had been with Inferno and Quickstrike died.
Andreas Olsen he’s the Starscream of the Beast Wars.
I could never understand his death when I watched the show as a teen, always expected him and scorponok to reappear in the next few episodes but they never did, still those first 2 seasons were so special, great writing
It's all about toys. Characters have to be removed due to low toy sales, because of costs for hiring actors, etc... it still happens in cartoons today, like Transformers Prime.

@@DESTRAKON Killing Terrorsaur was the right choice. Getting rid of him let the writers use Tarantulas as the new backstabber and rival, who was both more competent and more interesting, not being a direct Starscream clone. I never got the sense Terrorsaur had a chance against Megatron, but Tarantulas always felt like an equal, perhaps even superior to Megatron in cunning.

@@WarbossR0kt00fSant0s Most likely there's implications that it's a Predacon culture to backstabbing each other just to bring in dominance or for survival. Seems in their society, paranoia is very common and likely uncommon for having a loyal acquaintances like Skorponok and Inferno.

What annoys me about his death and scorpinoks is how nobody considers it reslly afterwards...black arachnia mentions it later in same episode and thats it. After that nothing...as if the loss of two valuable troops didnt hurt megatron

I think the writers thought it was too obvious.
Mild Misanthrope Too obvious for fans of G1, outright confusing for everyone else. It’s worth noting that the regular VA for Terrorsaur was the voice of a Starscream-possessed Waspinator.

But from a story perspective it isn't all that interesting when the deceptive and treasonous flying lieutenant is possessed by another deceptive and treasonous flying lieutenant. Part of the fun of possession stories is the conflicting personalities of the host and the spirit.
terrasaur should have lasted longer in beast wars,then he would have made his own clone army. like starscream did.
Actually terrosaur he has a transmetal body together with skorponok but suddenly they fell into lava and died.

Dank Starscream I found Terrosaurs along with Scorponok's deaths to be pathetic and stupid. They just all of a sudden just fall into the lava out of nowhere. I would had prefered if they stuck around. Same thing with Airazor and Tigatron. They just write off all these fun characters just to make space for new ones. Besides, they made Transmetal toys for both of them. So, why couldn't they just put them into the show?

In all honesty Terrorsaur is someone you feel bad for cause unlike Starscream he's willing to work with someone. He sounded hurt when Dinobot betrayed him and probably felt hurt when Rattrap also betrayed him. Yeah he's a Pred and a schemer but I think you give this guy some friendship and he probably would be a pretty decent person to know.
I don't remember Terrorsaur ever having eye-lasers, that's for sure.

Every Predacon was a Starscream in their own way.
Not really, however we can count on a few at some point like Terrorsaur then Tarentulas as main Starscream clones, however Black arachnia was a bit on that too since she also tried to get power against Megatron and at times teamed up a lot with Tarentulas, but other than the Starscream bit on Waspinator, the other Predacons weren't like Starscream at all.
Waspinator was just kenny from south park.
Skorponok was soundwave and Inferno was its crazy cousin.
Betrayal is a lot on Decepticon / Predacon nature, however waiting for every misstep of your leader to defeat him is a lot on par with Starscream.

R.I.P. Terrorsaur
I guess I can see why the writers decided to kill Terrorsaur off in the second season. He was just a BW clone of Starscream, compared to other Predacons like Tarantulas and Blackarachnia who while just as treacherous, were more interesting and complex. But unlike fellow pred Scorponok, Terrorsaur at least got to have one standout episode before he was offed. And sadly it looks like he's going to be left out of the War for Cybertron Kingdom toyline.
I love Beast wars. Terrorsaur and Waspinator are my favourite characters. I just REALLY wished that Terrorsaur did not fall into lava. And gained a transmetal form

The life of a Predacon must be stressful. You're leader see's you nothing more than expendable pawns, and your own teammates would betray you at any moment. Not to mention having to constantly fight Maximals.
would have been nice if Terrorsaur survived instead of being dipped in lava with scorponok seeing both their transmetal forms would have been cool but to be fair Tarantulas did a better job of being a starscream than Terrorsaur could plus end of the day was all down to toy sales and the originals didnt sell much same reason why Inferno was almost scrapped but his toy was a shelf warmer so they kept him till the end
The original Terrorsaur toy was kind of lame compared to how it looked in the show since we got some reissues of some transformers of beast wars they went being truly awesome, but well Tarentulas was more vicious than Terrosaur so he was a bit on par with some of the bests versions of Starscream (not particularly strong but malicious)

Yep, the transmetalization effect was stated by the writers to have been left in as a 'back door' in case they ever wanted to bring him and Scorpinok back. They could've done a thing where the remains of their transmetalizing bodies fused, creating a new Predacon warrior with a serious split personality- one blind loyalty, the other an incorrigible schemer.

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Terrorsaur My Fifth Favorite Predacon in Transformers Beast Wars. Terrorsaur truly was Transformers Generation One Starscream’s Descendant. Plus Doug Parker did an Incredible Performance Bringing This Traitorous Usurper to Life and I will despise that Terrorsaur was killed off in such a Lame Way and so Earlier in Transformers Beast Wars.

Terrorsaur wasn't as low as Starscream ; however, the parameters are pretty close.
@Dragoncry12 For sure. There's so many things about Rattrap that makes him an awesome character. I think he has too many great scenes for one vid. I'm thinking of making one for Scorponok next.

Great job my friend! You always know how to pick the best scenes for the characters you've chosen to make a video of. I'd suspect if you ever did a Rattrap one, it'd have to be in 2 parts, because he has so many epic moments, fights, and jokes to boot.

In essence, the Starscream of the Beast Wars. Only he was more successful at overthrowing Megatron and had a fair run as leader of the Predacons. Compared to how Starscream failed endless times to rule the Decepticons.

It just dawned on me that the reason the energon upgrade was able to defeat Megatron was because it made his weapons transform into stronger weapons.
Before someone says "obviously" the point im making is that his weapons arent just super charged, theyre completely new. His shoulder cannons are huge in comparison to how they normally appear, and the reason we never see that rifle again is because its not actually a secondary weapon animators forgot to use, it used to be his pistol.
I'd say the biggest reason is super-Saiyan Terrorsaur was invincible to Megatron's attacks. He could just stand there and shoot Megatron with his old weapons and win.

Hasbro Takara I only have one tiny question : Why we have'nt got another Terrorsaur figure in the mainline Transformers toyline especially in Kingdom? Why Hasbro? Instead repacking Arcee and Wheeljack, why not switch those repacks with Terrorsaur and Tarantulas, another character that we haven't seen in a mainline Transformers line since the original Beast Wars toyline. I would love to see Terrorsaur either in a Deluxe Class or a Voyager Class scale, maybe a Voyager Class would do because he will came with alot of acessories including his shoulder cannons, his signature gun, and of course his awesome looking laser rifle that he used to destory Megatron in the episode Power Surge. Plus his beast mode will be abit large with his wingspan. So Hasbro Takara, please give us a new Terrorsaur and Tarantulas figure in the future Transformers toyline.

But starscream never beat megs in a fair fight waiting to throw him off astroteain after prime beat his ass is not a fair fight but the cons wasnt really bice guys all they did was turn on each other
