If I hadn’t been able to get the golden disc version, this one would make me just as happy. I agree that his purple helps him fit in with the other Preds. However, since I did get the GD version, I won’t be picking up another Terrorsaur, unless they make Fractyl.
great review! i just got mine today at target and pretty much on point with what you said. the figure has loose feet and the wings just keep falling off. but other than that, i really like the colors and the style of the figure. great retro... now waiting for a masterpiece rendition...
While I do like the bot mode, the ptero-mode looks ögly. The GD release looked a lot better there. Still, glad folks can get this figure more easily now.
The robot mode of this figure is quite striking. I like it better than the animation version. Also, the audio is a bit too low on this video. I'm eagerly awaiting the Mototmaster video!
I like this version better than the Golden Disc one. He needs black shoulders and thighs to complete the original toy look. The mold itself works better for Airazor, but it's far from the worst Kingdom mold.
At bare minimum, we better get Lazorbeak. I'm predicting the next four pack will be Lazorbeak (possibly as the g1 char in bw mold), Arcee as blackarachnia repaint, Antagony and Black Green Tarantulas or a polar claw repaint if we finally get a figure for him. Could also see a Polar claw (repaint) vs Double Punch scorponok repaint.
There is a way to fix the wings so that they don't pop off. If you have a flat rou d piece with a peg in the middle, as long as the peg can fit in the small hole with a tiny drop of jb weld, it should fix the wing. I also added generations blitzwing gun to him as well. Also, if you take the spikes off and add them to his back around the shins in beast mode, you can add the guns where his spikes were.
Had to make the team screen accurate. But I'll definitely be playing with this one more due to nostalgia. And they're coming out with the Walmart og beast toy too so satisfaction for days 👌💯

The square tabs on the bottom of the wings plug into the sides of the pteradactyl tail in robot mode. It keeps the wings nicely folded up and stable.

Dang this looks way better in hand then I thought.
This bersion is my favorite too. I grew up with both the show and the original toy. And in the end I always loved this paint scheme better.

Mine has identical QC issues to Balt’s. For me, my Golden Disk copy feels a lot nicer. Still, I LOVE this mold. Nice review as always.
