Note: The early Beast Wars toys didn't have rub signs. I think that started year 2. I actually reviewed the original toy on my channel in 2016. In that review you can see that there's no little square cut out for the rub sign, so the reissue is accurate. They added the square for the Laserbeak repaint.

terrorsaur was my first predacon He & tarantulas I bought same time. Rock bubbles. $25 for a basic figure now these days .When they were $5, I was in my first year high school when I got them. So remember it well. Also don't forget it was just like 9 years go when they did a terrorsaur repaint in 2014 for age of extintion Strafe. They were charging $15 for a 2 pack. him & a legends bumblebee. So 9 years ago they were charging $10 for a terrorsaur repaint I also loved how people were complaining about the oen step changers. When we actually had them back in the day. Terrorsaur they were pretty fun too. Machine wars basics had that feature too the quick attack.in 1997 that feature was dropped except for Lazorbeak.

Such a great figure for its time. I had him as a kid and found him on clearance at my local Walmart for 5 dollars. I just had to get him back in my collection. Glad you got to get your hands on him. He may be simple but still a fun figure.

From what little I’ve seen of the show, yes, he has a yellow beak in it. I think it’s one of those “make it look good on TV” type of design decisions. As I think he was one of the figures where the toy got designed and released first, and the show crew designed or redesigned him to look good on TV. That’s basically how the first wave of Beast Wars figures were treated for the show.

  • @V-Revolticon

The terror of the prehistoric skies. The red reptile menace. Also, the predacon that failed in all of his plans. Anyway. It is a neat little figure. Sweet review. Keep up the awesome. :)

I just got this and yes the joints are super loose and the gun seems to only have a bumb on one side to hold the barrel. I remember getting the original when it came out and it was loose but not this loose witch I remember bothered me. Now I know how to tighten ball joints so I love having him back.

I just take a small square of paper towel or napkin and fold it into a whatever the size of the joint is stuff it in and reconnect the joint. It's not permanent and if the paper breaks down so what just put another in it.

My all-time favourite Transformers character from any era or incarnation of the property!! Terrorsaur's so nice, I bought him twice! Still haven't seen any in Canadian WMs, but ordered a pair from CAD WM online and they actually shipped them in the official Hasbro case, meaning they just removed 2 of the 4 from the case and sent them to me without first having an impromptu game of indoor warehouse toy packaging soccer (their usual procedure). They just came in last night and I was ecstatic with the package condition. WOOHOO!

Lazorbeak actually is not the same mold as Terrorsaur, this reissue uses the original Terrorsaur mold. Lazorbeak was actually an entirely new mold, not even a retool, that was based on the Terrorsaur mold. Lazorbeak features several minor differences (for example: the head is different, the chest is a different shape, the beaks are different lengths, etc.) but the most obvious difference is the inclusion of that energon chip rubsign in the wing which was not on the original Terrorsaur mold.
Lazorbeak's new mold was also used for BW Neo Hydra & RID Dinobots Terranotron. While the original Terrorsaur mold was also used for BotCon Fractyl & AoE Strafe/the fiction-only character Garboyl.

My one has barrel part of gun missing but good figure either way got it delivered yesterday now I'm waiting for Cheator I had Tigerton delivered as well few days ago. are they even gonna reissue the other characters we not got yet like inferno as I noticed other BW ones are part of the legacy stuff and I'd rather have the og or reissue BW stuff.
