WHAT??? An 8 string baritone ukulele. Are you kidding me? This is one of the most unique and coolest ukuleles you will ever see. A absolute must for the player that wants something different with a totally unique feel and sound.
Elegant and beautiful, these are some of the best sounding ukuleles you will ever play. Cedar has a soft, lush tone that lends well to finger style playing. It has a natural, loud projection and is often recommended as the best ukulele for playing on stage.

That is my dream Baritone Ukulele,
Why didn't he notice that the third pair of stings are NOT an octave apart....they are unison like the 1st and 2nd pairs, Plus, that 3rd pair are NOT exactly in tune with each other, they are slightly out of tune with each other.
These ukuleles cost so much but are so cool
@Ukelikethepros With great respect.. There is one thing you don't cover in your video that would be really helpful to viewers. There are a few frets that you play that have very high frets due to manufacturing lack of quality control / assurance. With my headphones on, those high frets cause a few notes buzz and "quack" for example at time position: 2:07 and 2:08 and unless your few are that skilled enough and own a fret press or crowning file to re-profile those frets lower... They would need to return such an instrument that you are showing in your video for a refund or to over pay (get over charged) a lot of money for a luther to fix the issue. I'm wondering why you did not tell your viewers of this lack of quality control / assurance?
I noticed the buzz immediately, too. I've had that issue with a couple of smaller Kalas that I purchased without getting a dealer set-up. (oddly - not my pineapple soprano, which was a cheaper instrument)
Hey Terry ! Have you ever played a "Charango"? It's has 10 strings : Ee Aa Ee Cc Gg
I played a Charango today, My mistake, that´s one of the tunings but the standar is:
GG CC eE (super weird) aa ee
being the lower case higher notes

Simply put, I cant afford it. Can anyone recommend an 8 string electrical Baritone for about a 3rd of the price of this beautiful Uke? I understand I could be looking at laminated plywood but I gotta be sure I would love playing it or Id be too freaked out about the upfront price.
Or if some one wants to loan or rent me one for a couple of months...😉
I've ordered a baton rouge 8 string baritone. Half the cost of the kala, reviews are good. It's arriving today, so can't yet comment on what it's like. But as I mentioned, reviews are good.
What a waste of string! Why not make one B regular and another B lower octave?
