Ortega Guitars - Awesome support! My daughter received an Ortega Uke for her birthday last November. Turned out to have a couple unfixable buzzing strings. Even though it was a gift, purchased online by a relative, probably unauthorized channel, I took it to a semi-local Ortega dealer in FL and they contacted the Ortega representative who shipped out a replacement Uke - no charge and no questions asked! My daughter is thrilled and I know where our future Ukes will come from.

Is it hard to go from 4-8 strings?
Jeffrey Dreyer it’s not too bad it takes a lil bit extra work pressing down the strings because there are twice as many, but nah definitely not too hard

Ortega seem to make great quality stuff. I own one of their gig bags for my tenor ukulele and its great. Feels super durable and has some nice padding material so i rarely worry about damaging my uke when carrying it around. It also looks cool, which is a bonus.

E string only: 3 open string, 7th fret once, 5th fret once, and then 3rd, to 2nd should be avengers. Good luck!👍

I love the tuners on the 8 string! Is it harder to play? I have 6 ukuleles but I've never played more than 4 strings.

If your wondering why it came in separate box, bamboo is EXTREMELY fragile. If you end up buying anything bamboo, treat it with absolute care. Your welcome
Thanks for letting me know I tuned the 8 string uke I just got that used to belong to my grandpa wrong. I thought each string was supposed to be tuned to the same note lol

That is the best brightest 8 string ukuleles I have ever heard... and it looks 👀 fantastic 🤩 ... but that price...☹️... I’ll never be able to buy one of those...😢... beautiful, beautiful instrument 🎻...

The 8-string is a bit different than a 12-string guitar where the gbe courses are unison, or a mandolin. Is the G course really strung backwards with the octave ahead of the low-G on a down stroke?

I’m gonna scream I have an Ortega ukulele 😮 they can be quite pricey but they sound amazing. I have a tenor concert size with pickup and built in tuner 💕
