My wife and I have shopped for years at a local, large chain supermarket that is close to home. After Sprouts was built in our town, both stores are equidistant from our house. If you catch the sale days at Sprouts, it is just as affordable as the other and the products are so much better in so many ways. Great video. ALSO, on the french fries, fry them up in 100% Avocado oil drain on paper towels and they are the best. We use our Wok for that.
We’ve been using that Sprouts ear oil for years, it’s really a miracle for ear infections. You feel better almost instantly, highly recommend. So glad you mentioned it! 👍🌸

And with food prices going up I’ve noticed that the produce section really hasn’t been hit with that like other places-assuming because there are so many local choices from there. I will be getting the ear oil for the just in case and the frozen spoonable peanut butter smoothie! It sounds amazing!

To get your homemade fries crispy soak them in ice water for atleast 10 minutes. Rinse them off and then pat dry and let air dry for about 10 minutes. I air fry mine for 15 minutes at 375, shake them up, then cooked for another 15 minutes and 375, shake them again and then cooked an additional 5 minutes at 375. They come out perfect and crispy every time

You have to put the cut up potatoes in cold water and move them around. Put them I'm the fridge for 20min. You have to get rid of the starch on the fries exterior so that they can take on the oil.

I was recently told to reduce protein powder intake due to creatinine increasing. Any suggestions? I use Hemp seeds, chia seeds and primal collagen daily. Hey Bobby, I think the only way to make perfect french fries in an air fryer is to use the rotisserie function (if you have it). I make fries all the time using the rotisserie basket and they always come out mucho perfecto! After cutting, rinsing, and cleaning the fries, I dry them, toss with 1 Tbl. Olive oil and add spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika) then cook em in the rotisserie for 20-25 min. @ 400 degrees (preheat oven for 10 min.) depending on the weight of the potato. They go great with Bobby approved ketchup! (*wink*)

Bobby has never said ice cream is part of a healthy lifestyle...... he's just showing you the stuff that has cleaner ingredients, AKA "the lesser of the evils". Just don't eat ice cream. He teaches reading labels. It's up to each of us to decide what we put in our mouths.

Wish we had sprouts here in NY. Wish you would do a video on foods that are good for people with colon issue, sensitive or IBS. So many of the snack foods just irritate aggravate my colon. I’m not allowed to have seeds, corn or nuts.

I work at sprouts and can’t afford to shop there. Most people can’t afford $6 ice cream. Solution - don’t eat ice cream it has no nutritional value so why eat it just like the chocolate and stuff.
Great items just sad that they cost so much. I still think Ben & Jerrys is expensive and it has bad ingredients. $7-8 is too high for most sadly. I’m trying to stick to grass fed meats and high quality salmon and olive oil but I think when it comes to ice cream, I’ll get blue bell every now and then. It’s not healthy but it’s easier on the pocket book and tastes good :)
Yikes. Those sale prices are still too high for our budget. Even if we had a Sprouts nearby, I wouldn't be shopping there because we simply cannot afford those kinds of "sale" prices.

Our local co-op is the same way. I used to shop there occasionally to get a few things I couldn't find anywhere else locally, but for a lot of us, an extra dollar or two per item adds up quick and that makes a huge impact on the household budget.

WildGood ice cream looks good but it’s made with fructose :/ it’s the 2nd ingredient :/ ugh. Fructose taxes your liver, a major culprit of fatty liver disease. Looks yummy but I’ll have to pass. Pizza bites I will check out! :)

Try tossing the fries in a zip loc bag with olive oil. Iv done it that way and used my air fryer they turn out pretty crispy!
Soak your uncooked fries in cold water for and hour or so. Dry coat with evoo and seasoning. Air fry. Should be crispy.

Use butter in a cast iron skillet. I cut my potatoes up let the butter melt and throw in pan. Perfect every time.

I grew up in Brenham Texas where the Blue Bell Creamery started out. They make the very best ice cream ever. Anywhere.

I'm just one of those who can't afford it, so I'll have to look for these products in the more reasonably priced stores. I may not find them all, but I know for a fact that some are available in quite a few retailers where I live because I have purchased them before. I don't want other people in my position to see this video and think that they can't find healthy options because it is too expensive. You can find healthy options at places other than high end or specialty stores.
Wait !!!! That first Dairy Free ice cream that you said was good had FRUCTOSE in it !!! It had 24 grams of sugar ???? Yes it had extra virgin olive oil but the ingredient before that was FRUCTOSE !!!! Whaaaat ???

Sprouts Anaheim evidently has more organic than Sprouts Tulsa, but really neat stuff worth another exploratory trip.

WildGood ice cream looks good but it’s made with fructose :/ it’s the 2nd ingredient :/ ugh. Fructose taxes your liver, a major culprit of fatty liver disease. Looks yummy but I’ll have to pass. Pizza bites I will check out! :)
Instead of coconut sugar why don’t they use stevia, it will cut down the calories by 30%
