I feel so honoured to get to practice alongside all of you today! Day six has been one of my biggest hurdles in the past - I used to tell myself that I just wasn't in the mood for core work that day, and the next, and the next, until I abandoned the practice altogether. But not this year. I showed up for myself, and while I had to take a few breaks throughout the video, I made it to the end. My abs are on fire, but I am so proud of myself (and of all of you for coming to the mat today). See you all tomorrow!

I hope you know that just by you showing up and trying your very best already means you’re getting stronger by the nanosecond. And you are very much capable of anything you set your heart to doing!

When she said day six was abs I groaned. I didn’t think I could do it, at all. I had two abdominal surgeries back in September, and it has been a very long, slow recovery. I didn’t think I even had the muscles to do any of this, but I did! I didn’t do everything, and I didn’t do it well, but I was here and I did it. Reading your post and the comment made me feel less alone in what I’m trying to accomplish.

Great reminder & encouragement!A yoga teacher once told me one of the most profound practices he ever had was spent in Child's pose. For the entire practice.
Getting to your mat is the hardest part.
Do what you can: modify, focus on a singular intention, do something completely different - going with your own flow(making your owns waves but still part of the ocean 😉) or just simply come to your mat and breathe. Yoga is breathing after all😊
Point is - keep showing up for yourself no matter how intimidating/challenging.
      Listen to your body.
Nothing wrong with spending an entire practice in a relaxation pose, breathing and giving your nervous system some TLC💕
      Keep on keepin' on, friends

    This was lovely!
I'm pregnant(at the beginning of my third trimester) so I adapted the exercises to do most of it on the sides and not strain the belly and it still felt awesome to follow along.
As Day 5 practice reminded and thought us: our yoga is about our journey. Wherever we are in life. Adapting the practices is truly living them at our pace and it is beautiful and real.
Thank you Adriene, Benji, Team and Community for this shared time and space.
Thank you to the other 6.680 lovely people who practiced alongside me today. Sending lots of love out to this amazing Community.

I repeated this video twice and by the second round I can’t believe it was actually getting easier . This burning warmth in my belly felt really good the movements felt more fluid . God I miss this feeling . Love you Adrienne and everyone who’s doing this together!!!! See you tomorrow 😊

I procrastinated day 6 all day today, mainly because it's cold and snowy where I live, and I really couldn't get motivated to go downstairs to where the workout area is. I went to grab a sweater from my room after finishing meal prep and thought, "I'm just going to do today's yoga right here on the carpet". I'm glad I did! This was the perfect day/video to do yoga without the mat, so I'm glad it worked out well in the end. My belly is sore after this, but it was worth it to stick it out.

    Happy core day!
Throughout this journey, I am setting the intention to leave little love notes in the comments, to keep myself reflecting and expressing gratitude, and also to spread love and positivity.
DAY 6: Center...The day I used to dread, but this year it was different. In the past I saw this day as the way I SHOULD be working out, only core and for aesthetic purposes. But over this past year I have really reflected on the way I move my body should be with love. While this practice does help my abs it also gives me time to reflect on how far I've come. Last year I would've been upset that the workout wasn't twice as long or that there were flowing, gentle portions to this practice, but this year I am grateful. This video made me love my core for all it helps me do, even if it's not as strong or as visibly toned. My core is beautiful as it stabilizes me and keeps me balanced through all the obstacles I may face.
